Illumination ain't that bad, but at least they have various skills. My favorite Illumination films are: The Super Mario Bros. Movie The Secret Life of Pets Migration Despicable Me Sing Despicable Me 2 Minions: Rise of Gru Despicable Me 3 Sing 2
Grinch in the original 70's cartoon and the Jim carrey version; He is scary, hates christmas because of the noise and kids or because the Who's bullied him when he was young (Makes sense) and has gross teeth plus his theme song is great. Illumination's Grinch; He is not very scary, hates christmas because he was alone and the ONLY kid in an orphanage. Why there was no adults to take care of him? Why nobody visited the building if it was next to Whoville? This makes no sense! Also, his song is a lame rap and the lyric '' His teeth are yellow. '' is stupid, this Grinch's teeth are white and shiny. In short, Illumination didn't understood the character AT ALL and ruined his song. Thank's for that 😑
As... mediocre as their movies can be, I still like the studio. And I still like to watch their movies from time to time (specifically, Despicable Me).
The Easter bunny in Hop has a sleigh with flying chicks instead of reindeers. Wow, that's so creative 🙄He couldn't just create magic tunnels in every countries or something no! Copying Santa was a better idea! Hop is so bad. EB is not funny, the humans are boring, the music too and the villain is not scary or entertaining. It's awful from begining to end. It's not even a guilty pleasure movie, it's terrible! I give it 1|10. Rise of Gru and Despicable me 1 are hilarious, have likable characters and cool villains as well as fun action. I love them both! 10|10 for each 😀
