General rule is the larger the ship the more time you need to react. I use the 5, 10 and 15 second rule. This is how much time you should give yourself to react to things such as needing to turn to avoid hitting something or get a broadside. 5 seconds for the sloop. 10 for the brig and 15 for the galleon.
Nice guide, I’m gonna try to get a 4man crew again to maybe win this time (we never bucketed out of the grid) and I never knew that the waves don’t move you as much.

@@Wintyt22 thank you mate! 😁
everone will be a fire firghter against the burning blade with that ashen roar that lights THE WHOLE SHIP on fire
That is true 😅 that thing is devastating!
No chickens were harmed in the making of this MOST EXCELLENT video about galleons. However, a few boarders bit the dust.
Thank you 🙌🥳
Wind has been updated. Put your sails to the side when heading into the wind for better speed and efficiency
@@ArinuLing true, i have to make a note in the video 👍 thanks
That' is what I was trying to find on yt but no one made one thanks for that
🥳

Sweet 🤓
Is there a better way to get merchant levels other than the key method?
I would say either what you do, starting off the mission with a Raid voyage 🙂
3:10 The S13 update changed this I’m pretty sure. Sails should be turned to catch as much wind as possible in the back of the sail
Or turned out of the wind if sailing into the wind. Sails going against the wind slow you so you should turn them out of the way.
just got a 4th in our team as of today so great timing
So nice to hear! wish you good luck and fortune 🥳
With the next update the information about facewind at 3:05 will be outdated. Now you will need to turn them all sideways.
Thanks for the awesome videos!
Keep them up ❤
Thank you! :D
Didn't rare change sailing into the wind for all ships? I thought they all benefited from turning sails in that situation
Ty so much
