      Great restomod job as always. There’s another small and cheap fix for the sticky/lumpy throttle and that’s the throttle linkage itself. There’s a rubber bushing that wears out and makes the throttle very firm and notchy, check those out for the next episode and keep it up gents!

    This is a heap of work done in five episodes. Love the finished product. 18's and the smoked headlights make for a cool exterior look. It's not OEM+ but just like OEM lightly modified. Black interior is a great change as well. The no stress daily use value in this car is worth it 100%.

    I've found if you brush the fibers on the parcel shelf between coats that they don't come out as crunchy.
    Also if you want to try to chase down squeaks and rattles if you wrap those door clips with a little bit of tesa tape it clears up a fair amount of noise. It worked wonders in my Mk6 Golf R doing that.

    • @anydaynow01
      @anydaynow01 2 года назад +1

      Yeah folks need to learn about the magic of teflon tape, it is also great for reducing urethane bushing binding, especially sway bar bushings.

    The E34 M5 was the one car I slept on and feel like now have missed out. I wanted one so bad to go beside my E30 but I can't justify today's prices ended up getting an E82 instead. That said, I did get to enjoy an 89 525i and a 93 535i for several years so at least I got my taste of it even if it wasn't in M flavour. Really enjoyed watching this series.

    For the fabric spray you gotta use a brush and brush it in deep into the fabric as you're spraying it. After it dries rub it off and you'll see stuff sorta flake off and it won't have that hardness nearly as bad. I use that stuff a lot and get great results but learned some tricks over the years for a better end result.
