hi!! hope you liked my youtub dot con video.. like listed in the outro i burnt out for a few months, and rarely ended up playing tc2, editing wasn't the main problem, i love editing, actually playing the game was. i feel probably just as annoyed as you are to give excuses on why i leave on such extended breaks and they aren't good reasons, but i sometimes struggle to enjoy games that have barely changed in years, can you really blame me? anyway hopefully we get that update soon, haha... i hope it's good at least. also at 2:40 is "birthday" (an alt) i don't remember why i put blur on that part.
look , playing doctor is absolute pain in the d , each time you have full uber , a scout , demoknight , sniper or spy kicks in , kills you then dies instantly , and to make it worst , they say "medic down" in the chat to make you look bad , so yeah , medic is a "fun" and "intresting" class we know GM
used to play tc2 religiously years ago. would absolutely annihilate as doc, flanker & arsonist. would top score practically every round. i took a large break from fps games in general so i'm gonna try to get back into playing the game. i'm not gonna touch doc at first, as i'm going to be horribly rusty but once i get my head back into the game i'll try him out again. and btw, this video is amazing. like the editing and mini-scenes are clean and smoothly fit into the video and makes it overall a nice viewing experience. i loved it.
During my grind for the fittens own gibbus (just playing the game for like 15 hours) I tried playing doc, trust me I tried. But I found doctor so tedious, I had much more fun getting pocketed and pubstomping a payload game with a 25 ks rather than pocketing a pubstomper. Also leave battle doc alone I like battle doc, battle doc is my equavilant to a redditors anime waifu.
@@Redracer96Force someone to pocket you then play as a power class like heavy, trooper and annhi or battle engi if you like that. Alternatively just be really good at sniper.
its nice seeing someone that gives guides on how to play medic (shhhh its medic) in tc2 because most of the time i main medic because there is that one server wiping scout that gets like 200 points per game, so now other people can pocket the server wipping scout yes. I have infact gotten a (few) death threat for playing medic
I do have a tip for myself when playing payload when im being doc: Red team: use the krits medigun to have massive dmg and kills Grn team: using stock medigun to destroy sentrys and have masive kills too.
Amputator is just incredibly underrated because you can just entirely avoid making detours for health packs and just BECOME the health pack. Also burst healing in groups is important against demos and.soldiers
I mostly switch between the two, playing passive aggressive. Playing passively mostly on defense, and aggressively on offense. You are painting it like black and white, it is more like a gray, where in one play style is more passive or aggressive.
As a Doctor main, the supersaw is useful if you know how to use it. It’s not made for you to run into the enemy team and hit someone four times then just run away. I was to be used is a more “offensive way”. You can still go on the attack if you have your team around you, that’s when you know your safe, like when you are charging at the enemy team from behind and you use the supersaw when you already have charge from running over (50%-70%) thats when you use your super saw. If your team-mate is smart and doesn’t attack the enemy team, then lets you go first to get that extra bonus supercharge so that he can get to Charge. That is how you use it. Personally I use the stock medi gun or the Kritzkreig but rejuvenator if my team is ass. The Overdrive also helpful as it gives that speed boost and extra charge rate.
I find the Supersaw to still be worth it. I chase down and kill any light classes that get close by rapidly switching between crossbow and saw, usually getting 25-50% free charge while killing them. It's surprising how effective this is.
i did end up cutting a part solely about the supersaw, but i still think it's useful and within the right hands can be really great. even then i find myself using stock saw more, because it's way better for self defense than the supersaw is.
As a demoknight main that sometimes changes to medic the same damage as a katana is basically the most confortable option for me but i rarelly use it only when its a free win or a scout
I think that you believe that kritz is better than stock because you like the aggressive playstyle more which the kritzkrieg favors more (at least when you are stomping) (And also because TC2 players don't know to target the Doctor so the vulnerability matters less) So I think stock is better usually This is a really good video though, I like your content
I main Medic in TC2 since i love the feeling of saving teammates when they’re at death’s door or making massive pushes that grants my team a huge advantage. I main Syringe SMG, Stock/Rejuvenator, and Amputator, and heres my opinions why: Syringe SMG (while clearly lacking in firepower) still offers a decent if not a effective method of self defense. Instead of going melee as medic like usual, with the SMG i can have the option to strike at mid/long range at an opponent to ward them off or take care of a light class thats targeting me. I think stock is self explanatory, but The Rejuvenator allows me to keep everyone’s health capped out. Of course, the overheal does help with stock, but it does suck that i can’t heal multiple people at once instead of focusing my healing out put on one target. Thats where the amputator comes in. When multiple people have been severely damaged or equal amount of health all together, i can position myself away from enemy fire to be a wider range dispenser and burst heal everyone around me. Granted, i can use the Rejuvenator’s uber to burst heal my targets. But with the amputator, i don’t need to risk the uber charge by pressing taunt. Saving the charge for pushes or against a push from the enemy team. I love maining medic in TC2. Because even if the team is losing, i’m still saving someone from death. Even if i die while doing so.
@@XxCringyKidxX i am becoming more aggressive and angry the more i main medic in this game god help me, i am no savior when im baby sitting corpses. still maining syringe smg, switched to stock and amputator. a good medic keeps their team alive at all costs, even if my hands need to get bloodied in doing so.
@@NeutralVidiyatry the medic shoes+ stock/rejuvenator + supersaw if You want to go battle medic. You are basically a trickstabbing medic and if You get cornered You can use the Uber, tank the shots close distance and attack with the saw
aggressive doctor the only other weapon that works for this playstyle is the syringe smg cuz its the main battle doc weapon so if you just heal and attack when you need you good
some players might say that doc is probably the easiest class since u just hold/click the m1 and don't die, saying that u don't really need skill since the only thing u do is heal like a dispenser without the ammo but the job of looking out for spy's switching to the syringe and healing every low hp teammate is very stressful (not to mention almost the entire enemy team trying to hunt your ass down and trying to dodge every rocket, pipe, sticky, sniper, and so on) and its really disappointing when your fighting a spy and lose to a backstab then the spy just happens to backstab the entire team because of one failed hit your like a moving fighting dummy just waiting to die. also damage strafing is very useful as doc since u can just strafe away, i already know that since i main trolldier. doc in my opinion is prob one of the underrated classes of tc2 (cool vid btw loved it kinda late to comment i forgot)
As a mostly annihilator main i find that doctors like to uber me but the problem with that is i get strange fright and proceed to miss all of my pipes and stickys. then when the uber is over i feel like I’ve let the doctor down and feel bad.
It's alright as long as we feel that you've tried you'll get multiple chances. A good alternative? Be an aggressive and offensive Pyro And I can promise any medic that wants crits and to buy time will pocket you for that gain in PL
Try Battle doctor with Overdrive/mercy-kill, rejuv, and saw. I love using this load out as a gimmicky melee class while also *occasionally* healing my team. The rejuv Uber is really good for those “OH sh**, I messed up” moments, serving as a get-outta-jail-free-card, or as a scummy self heal to wipe some poor anniknight.
If you want to know a secret to doctor and how we keep playing him, just run the dumbest loadout like: Stock saw Blood doctor and the shoes, the amount of bs you can get away with is stupid
Man -medic- doc is that one class that when they appear its a 50% chance they will flip the table and a 50% chance will be.. actually theres not that much bad things about doc
I like doctor honestly. Probably cuz I can’t aim any other weapon for the life of me but that’s besides the point. My preferred weapon is the rejuvenator just because it’s so versatile. Sure the Uber is the worst of all the weapons but being able to fully heal 6 teammates in less than 2 seconds is just as euphoric as kritzkrieging a heavy and mowing down 10 people.
Sometimes when I’m playing doctor I play classical music while using The Mercy kill, Rejuvenator and stock I don’t know why I just so it and I like it.😂

Lv 173 here, and i couldn't agree more with 8:20. I main mech, and it's frustrating to be the only one defending the point, because as soon as i die, we get overrun and lose the point. Also i usually use stock on doctor because it is better with less-skilled teammates (cant get killed).
The only reason why I play Doctor more than 4 times is cause I like my team thanking me and am the only reason why so many of the matches I play are victories
I disagree with the uber point in the beginning For me, it feels like the hard work is finally paying off since I rarely get to use uber. So using it feels like a lil treat That's my opinion though, I understand that for some it's more fun to be unstoppable while you attack
I guess I can call myself a sorta semi battle doctor; which is basically where I assist my team both by healing and in enemy combat. I play doctor every now and then its fun but noone bothers to protect their medic ive only ever seen 1 guy protect me as medic before so thats why most people dont play i think cause their never protected
The main point to doctor is to maximize your healing output while preserving your safety. The safest room on every map is the spawn rooms where you would almost never die but you healing output is severely hindered the further into the battle the more your likely you are to just die so don’t go too far into the frontlines as doctor and awesome tip when getting hit with melee jump and hold crouch
