  • Do you ever feel insecure when digitizing signals and selecting the sample rate in your data acquisition system? What if you choose a speed that's too slow? How large will the files become if you opt for a much faster speed? Does your DAQ system automatically apply an anti-aliasing filter? With so many questions to consider, and if you're unsure about what you're doing, there's a definite risk that aliases might creep into your data. Once present, they are impossible to distinguish from actual signals. Therefore, no post-processing tool can reliably eliminate them.
But don’t worry, it’s not as challenging a topic as it might seem. In under 4 minutes, Martin Stierli from Kistler’s Test & Measurement team will explain how you can ensure that your measurements are accurate and alias-free in an easy-to-understand manner.
In case you don’t have any data acquisition system yet, why don’t you have a look on Kistler’s portfolio: www.kistler.co...
