Measurement of a HBM Torque Sensor Frequency Output with an eDrive Power Analyzer

The HBM torque sensor has sophisticated excitation, amplification, and excitation for its strain gauges which are used to measure torque. The output of the gauges is translated to torque and put onto a digital bus so it is noise immune. By directly recording the frequency output signals the eDrive system is able to use the full bandwidth and maximize the accuracy of the sensor. This video will describe that process.
