Synopsis: Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels."

@@RayValdezPhotography it's weird because every comment I ever see of her online is always negative. I see people attacking her acting and while not spectacular, I don't think it's bad either. It always just felt like everyone decided to dislike her and nothing she ever does is or will be good.
@@RayValdezPhotography That was about her comment about "A Wrinkle in Time" where she said something to the effect "I don't need white men telling me if this movie is good, I want to hear from women of color, biracial women, teens girls of color" etc... and yeah sure that could added fuel to the fire. But her first Captain Marvel movie there were quite a few memes about her not smiling much, seemed a bit "wooden" as an actress, she even said some bad things about Captain Marvel when it came out if I recall correctly (although I can't remember them for the life of me). So this thumbnail being another Captain Frumpy image just starts that meme train back up.

Hah, I've been on RUclips for many years, but this is the first time I've seen people be so little interested after the trailer of a AAA movie. Even Amazing Beasts after the Johnny recast or Kevin Smith's HeMan sequel generated more enthusiasm.

@@Mr_Movie_Fanwell zeemo won, killmonger technically won but without murderous intent, thanos definitely counts (see falcon and winter soldiers), and Loki in Thor 2. It happens.
@@eXperianceHD Zemo didn't win. Steve and Tony patched things up at the end of the movie. The only reason why the avengers "broke up" is because the government acted stupid. Killmonger didn't win, he wanted to give weapons of mass destruction to every single black American in the hopes of I was assuming killing every single white person in America. Thanos doesn't count because the snap was undone by Endgame, it didn't help that there were movies announced to be released after Endgame so everyone was able to figure out that the snap would be undone. Loki doesn't count either since Thor figured it out by his next solo film.
When movies companies changed their goal from making money with good movies to just try to lose it all with bad ones?

Just a quick notice to all reviews embargo drops day before release; truly wishing for a good film but if you don't know what that means feel free to look it up - it means the studio believes it will be panned and is a bad product. Same in video games too - massive warning sign

I don't know anything about this movie and yet I had the urge to jump into this trailer and immediately dislike, Can somebody explain this phenomenon as to why everybody is simultaneously at the same idea?

One reason I don’t think this movie will be any good is that half their previews consist of clips from prior Marvel movies - like this movie just doesn’t have enough exciting clips to show off, so let’s recycle some of the greatest hits from prior movies …

I hate trailer music. The one note memory piano, the simplified melodies, the bwaaas and drum patterns that repeat until it cuts to black for impact... all of it.
