I can't wait to see the fight scenes because of the body switching element. Captain Marvel's skill set is so OP but she won't be able to activate her cosmic powers without switching places with Monica or Kamala and endangering them. So instead of just shooting lasers at a bad guy, she'll have to think of more creative fight maneuvers. Has the potential to be very interesting!
Thats what has me excited for this movie. I REALLY hope they nail the body switching aspect and make it fun as hell!

I like that the Avengers theme is subtly played throughout this video, which makes sense due to Captain Marvel kind of being responsible for the Avengers' existence in the MCU. I'm still so hyped to see her again in about 2 weeks.😍❤️💙🌟

I've loved Carol Danvers since her days as Ms. Marvel and Brie Larson is a brilliant talent, so underrated. She's fantastic as Captain Marvel and her presence in the MCU added an insane power level that I hope she can break in this sequel as well.

Carol Danvers is the hero that my 6yo self needed as a girl. Princess Leia was great but didn’t completely cut it.
I was just rewatching Ms Marvel and I'm going to rematch Captain Marvel again as I can't wait. I do have a theory of how our new baddie got the first bangle. I do believe that she got the first bangle when Kamala's great grandma Aisha were searching for the bangles hence why all 3 of our heroes got their powers linked together in the ending credits of Ms Marvel.

I didnt like the character because her personnality is kinda flat, this movie is like the Ragnarok of Carol, a game changer for the character, and If her personnality is more developped and didnt act like a stone (not expressive) I'm in.
Though it's not popular to say this, I fell in love with Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers, and Brie Larson, as well as Monica Rambeau from WandaVision, and especially Iman Vellani, Ms. Marvel, and Kamala Khan. I love WandaVision as much as I love Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel.
Each passing day i'm more and more hyped for this movie

While not that big of a fan of Captain Marvel (mostly because Disney completely skipped over her evolution and development as Ms. Marvel, and her popularity on Earth making zero sense IMO for someone who mostly stays in space), I am hoping this will at least be CLOSE to as big of a win as No Way Home with having 3 versions of Ms. Marvel-variants.

"Evolution" is a weird way to describe Captain Marvel. Went from a warrior to a godlike entity because of a neck device being removed. *Vision* had more development with trying to understand the Mind Stone and what he was.
Brie does such a great job as Captain Marvel. I just don't understand the haters (and honestly don't want to).
I really hope the movie does well so we can get a Ms Marvel season two and a third film. I want more of these characters.

For there to be an evolution, a character needs an arc to go through and we have yet to see Carol go through any at all.

It sounds like you want her to be a Luke Skywalker, Captain America, or a Spiderman. She's more like Wonder Woman, without the love interest.
They wrote her as a "masked hero". In her first move, her journey is to know herself. She already comes with ethics, morality, and skill. She's had years of training. She taps into that final level, only when she realizes who she is & instantly chooses to do what's right. It's an arguably simple arc, but it's a character arc.
Her only hero trope is penance for evil deeds (working for the Kree). No love interest she's trying to keep safe; no selfish streak that she's trying to fight; and no trying to fit into the world. She's a confident, decent, & focused person.
The inner struggles were there, but she's not a Black Widow or Winter Soldier. It's just a simpler story.
@@richardmanuel3072 We see that Carol has combat and military training, but we never see her training to how to use her powers, so she doesn't go on a journey to better acquaint herself with foreign powers and steadily move up the ladder on how to use them.
Also, she doesn't seem to show much remorse for her actions despite them being technically worse than Natasha's or Bucky's; like one scene and that's it.

Power progression is there. It could be more nuanced, of course. Seeing the early training? Like a montage? I just don't think it would have added much.
What would learning how to shoot laser beams out of ones hands really look like? It's visually interesting, but it might diminish the later shots. All it is is projectile firing. She already understands the principals of shooting & flight. Energy production really isn't a nuanced power, like magic or taking on another animals abilities.
Remorse? I would argue that she dedicates her life to fighting injustice and says she will find a home for the people she was fighting against.
