Of course, Omar Sharif's speech is interesting, but on the other hand, the broadcaster is wonderful. He was a good listener and did not interrupt his guests and made them talk comfortably😊
He was a wonderful actor! So good looking, smart and intelligent. And so funny! ❤
Man
Omar Sharif's charisma, his way of speaking, his husky voice and comic timing👍👍👍👍
that was hilarious ,very entertaining, Omar's stories were great...such a charmer.
His Charisma was simply off the charts....I see why the world went crazy over him.
Omar was quite a charmer. No one like him around today. Extraordinary that he never liked roles playing young men, but preferred older parts that matched his true self.
True I grew up watching he's Egyptian Black and white movies in Arabic when he was very young. He was a great actor !
Omar Sharif most charismatic charming versatile actor one could see he delivered he should have award Oscar or academy awards awj blessings for him in heaven he is only one has his own best

Omar Sharif, what a charmer, and story teller. Delightful company.
What a legend. Saw his many movies. Lawrence of Arabia. Some times during 1964. But Mackenas Gold was super. He was a Great Player of Bridge was an outstanding Horse Rider. An international Footballer and alegend of an actor. A well read welltraveled man who has no parallel Truly a Genius
Brilliant..imagine being able to tell those stories and be that funny in a foreign language..Omar gave good interview!
Agree 100%
@@majordolbyscatwhere all are ur jackanory videos
And that's with English being his third language; he spoke better French (Arabic is obviously his native tongue).
Omar Sharif is so entertaining that he can talk for hours and never get bored of listening to him.
😂😮
No one come like this man i think he took all cultures and attractions in his personality
Omar Sharif⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ a great man and an honest man wonderful
During an interview in Egypt and in Arabic, he once said I have never lied at all my life، amazing person
There will never be another Omar Sharif! We are left with happy memories of him as he rests blissfully in eternal peace 💜
Wow, I didn't realize he was an international footballer and, to casually say you played against Pele.. awesome..
Anyone can share clips of Omar Sharif playing soccer against Pele n Brazil
Omar was a star in Egyptian films before he broke into the western scene. A true gentleman who is a role model for anyone wanting to be true gentleman.
Quintessential representation of a true gentleman artist.
No
What a beautiful honest charismatic man , may he continue to rest in peace
What a great actor and character! Hugely admire this man.
Rest in peace Mr Omar ❤️❤️❤️
Well I have many reasons to be a proud Egyptian... A our most unique and effective ancient history of all.. B to have people like this man showcasing Egypt in the most fascinating ways possible for the man had a charisma and charm to die for plus incredibly attractive looks for a man his age who was the biggest heart throb in Egypt at his early days and definitely the most handsome man you could ever imagine when around his twenties still plying his craft in Egypt years before getting a shot at Hollywood.. Finally another great reason to be proud is that I went to the same school he attended "Victoria College" in Alexandria and had the honor of meeting him in person in that same period 1986-87 when he visited school alongside the late King Hussein of Jordan who also attended my school... RIP both of them 🌹
Pure class ❤
We love omar sharif so much ❤❤❤
This was fun.
Yes, I remember that interview, and surprisingly remembered it quite well, even the bit at end when Omar continues talking to Jan Francis.

@@majordolbyscat❤❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you for showing this part of his life a once in a lifetime phenomenon
Genuinely a talented actor ❤
It is such an amazing and funny interview. Proud to have Omar Al Sharid as Egyptian Figure. He was, is and will be only one in the Egyptian Cinema History.
Sharif played such a wide range of roles in movies: the Arab sheikh in Lawrence of Arabia, Dr Zhivago, Barbra Streisand’s irresponsible husband in Funny Girl, so many others. And he was persuasive in all of them.
Definitely a versatile actor with an audience reach that spanned generations
Oh how I loved watching his films, and watching my mum swoon over him.
Tell me about it, every Christmas, without fail, my mum would watch Doctor Zhivago ;)
@@majordolbyscatHe was beautiful! Those eyes!!❤
You should be. What a beautiful human and fantastic actor
Loved the Interview. R.I.P. Omar ❤ ❤

Wonderful and a really handsome actor. Will miss him a lot. An excellent bridge player too. Hats off to him.
Man or woman, you had to love Omar!!
Am proud of Omar sharif ❤
For years, I thought my mother hated me because of what she expected out of me. I can relate to everything he's saying about his mother.
Very enjoyable thank you .
No one like these people anymore ...
Charming. All of them. Thanks.
Your very welcome.
Goodness Lord in heaven he is just a beautiful being to behold.
Omar sharif is still the sexiest and most interesting man ever
He was a self taught and well respected man..
Omar Sharif will not be repeated again we are proud as Egyptians

@Janet Louise This is the flag of Iraq, the flag of Egypt, with a golden victory 🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬
@@majordolbyscat!!
I have two half-Egyptian cousins and their father is Egyptian. I asked him once who is the greatest actor of all time and he said without hesitating, OMAR SHARIF.
He is. He is. A magnificent and beautiful human being to behold. As a Canadian I thank you for giving us this ridiculously handsome and amazing light of a human being. ❤
Sorry, Artists belong to world, not any particular country. Especially international movie stars.
Sou brasileira, fui comissaria de bordo. Tive o prazer de tê-lo como meu passageiro , fiquei surpresa porque ele falava o português fluentemente.
Absolutely fell in love with Omar Sharif - amazing actor. Seeing this makes him even more endearable and a likable person. I used to watch 77 Sunset Strip and Ed (Cookie) Burns.
The charm of this man..
His conversation is quite engaging
The Egyptian king ❤️🙏
عمر الشريف لن يتكرر مرة اخرى .. الله يرحمه
مش فاهمك بالعربي. ممكن بالنجليزي؟
Omar the legend, one of a kind
Certain people have the Charisma, and others don't.
As simple as that.
Grand acteur avec un talent extraordinaire mais surtout un charisme hors pair.
It's his choice how he wished to live his life. Good actor adored by his fans❤
What a line-up of guests. Endearing and entertaining, all three.
Just don’t have the talent today with such class, style and banter
The Egyptian people are natural, non-colorful, and love to laugh and joke. They are simple people
He was colorful though.
The innate ability to make someone crack up after you've spoken your first two lines, is a skill (and a gift) and invariably, hard to acquire.
What an entertainer the man is ! Although he dwelled upon his propensity and affinity for gambling ( cards, in particular), the trajectory of that subject didn't t lead to a discussion on his skills at Contract Bridge, being ranked in the top 50 internationally during the 60s.
A fine host, a light conversation and two equally chirpy and accomodating co-guests !
Nice ❤
great
20 minutes of hilarious interview and not a single vulgarity of any kind in those days , and nowadays you attend a stand up comedy or watching an interview with a "comedian" and you get swamped with F words of all sorts . That's when you see something is deeply wrong with our generation.
The king Egypt ❤
Aspel was so much better than Parkinson
Good looking as well!
Loved it
Handsome ❤
Omar Sharif👍💛🙏🇦🇿
He lived in hotels most of his career until he passed.
Omar Sharif is a flag and symbol of Egypt, such as the pyramids and the Sphinx
Since posting this interview, I can see that and that makes me happy to hear.
Absolutly wonderful man ❤
Je l'Adore
When he OMAR SHARIF visited Penang I was. There to greet him welcome it was on Penang Hill then we talked fór a while .he said he many friends SYED AND SHEIKHS AND ALL
Thank you or sharing that story, certainly a different time and place and Omar Sharif was truly loyal to his fan base.
OMAR SHARIF 😤🌹🤲💛🙏💙❤💚🇦🇿
Ah! Even as a non-Brit, his grasp and use of English is far beyond anything that the internet generation is capable of.
❤❤❤
I would never have survived being beaten as a young child because my first attempt at learning to write was a little bit incorrect.
His the man
Swagger ❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍
أسطورة السينما العالميه----- عمر الشريف-- عراقي مر من هنا

Thank you sharing guys 😂😂😂😅😅😅now you might understand how come poor Putin lost his minds as Russian 😂😂😂😅😅😅 therefore, let them such gorgeous actors inspire you and enjoy further vintage cinema shows dating your followers. Web technologies change our way to see things, mostly movies, now that anyone can hold a camera and do the movie director's job, having a vision upon facts or a story to tell, vintage movies become a huge inspiration and a. ... know-how educational lesson for those who have no idea to make a movie but they might give it a try 🎉❤🎉
THE ONE AND ONLY////❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This was the time when television was great. Who and/or what do you see on tv now, some punk or transvestite or politician or someone being all three things together talking rubbish .
That Niet punch line … ☠️
🇵🇸
Why in the world hosting Omar - the heart full Middle Eastern- and boring heart less English Clive James together ?
I've been trying to find out if I'm his biological daughter for the last 7 years 🎉
Really?
It is the other way round Omar. Women are children. Manipulation is not maturity.
He looked much older than his age; I bet due to excessive drinking and smoking
May cod make your face ugly,
your searched all his words and his history, he seapks 7 languages and you only found drinking
He's about 54 in this video... looking his age basically.
The cooperation between Barbara Streisand and Omar Sharif should serve as an example to the world. ❤❤
Omar shriek: looks like he was muslim : by looking his name : but he never lived as Muslim:
In Islam drinking & gambling is forbidden: I wonder how him & his mother never were aware of Islam :
You are not god to judge him look at yourself and judge yourself not other people if you don't like him why you watching an interview about him
Majority of Muslims unfortunately think just by believing in the shahada then you're free to do what you want, you don't need to pray or worship maybe only in Ramadan then you go to fardous al'ala they all will pray you go to fardous al'ala.
Overrated by far
Sadly unislamic.
Who's interested in all this crap?
Over 103,000. why are you watching?
Crappy people who comment with no interest 😊
Omar sharif wanted his life and money on gambling and drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes and women ... Instead he could of helped the needy and helpless in the world... If he was a true Muslim then he should of never gambled and drank alcohol...
I have to wonder who or what gives you the authority to determine what Omar Sharif should and should not have done with his own money and life ? In certain circles that is considered to be low class arrogance .
Spielverderber!
Stop pontificating from your joyless souless miserable life. Omar Sharif, wasn’t a prisoner, he earned his money and spent it as he pleased. He likely was charitable, but didn’t see the need to shout his deeds from the roof tops! 🤐
@akramabdlhaq7112 I am assuming that from your name you may be a Muslim. There are reports of Omar Sharif’s philanthropy so he may have been a good man even if he was very worldly and did what we may not. God will judge him. It is not our job. He was not always a Muslim! Omar Sharif was originally a member of the Antiochian Greek Christian minority (also known as Rūm). He was born Michel Yusef Dimitri Chalhoub but changed his name, also converting to Islam in order to marry Faten Hamama, an Egyptian movie star. He was a convert but perhaps just for this marriage. It’s often not possible in predominantly Muslim countries for intermarriage as it is unlawful. The Quran may say men may marry ‘women of the book’ meaning Muslim, Christian or Jewish but it seldom happens as the marriage must be by an imam who may object. Muslim women cannot marry other than a Muslim man.
Edit: If you could see some Muslims of Arab royal families holidaying in Britain you’d see them all smoking, drinking, gambling, and womanising to excess. At home they are living a pious life in public and usually keeping the same vices in private.
My husband is a Muslim and I am a Christian. Neither of us converted for the other. An imam could marry us but we could not register a legal marriage in his country only a religious one.
A man lives his own life. We are all sinners anyway.
