thanks brother. I am in deep stress from last Friday due to the work and this mad me feel really good. Feels like my brain nerves are becoming soft. I work from home and hardly go out of my home and the pond in the lake made me feel so relaxed.
Found your channel and I’m going through all of your videos. You provide great content. My skill is being able to survive. When we’re working 16 hours a day I can hang. When I was young as a teenager, I worked in warehouses loading trailers with X cons. Now that I work in tech that grit has come with me
Finally someone found my channel lol. I sort of peaked years ago, so the motivation hasn't been there to make new content. I needed a break anyways. I'll probably release on a more routine schedule at some point in the near future.
IMO, forgetting and relearning is a great thing. Easily #1 thing I forget is CSS properties, I must've relearned so many times and still amazes me. One time I did lose sleep over the code only because it impacted the entire team...lol... well crisis was reverted by sacrificing sleep.
I made this video back in March, but just released it. I'm about to get back on schedule, I've said that for a year, but I'm finally refreshed. RUclips has changed but I'm still coming back.
The first lines of any program I write has all the cliff notes I need to relearn the program. To include HOW to compile it. WHAT the parameters are that it takes and what that does (roughly).
I am interested in learning Python too, but always assumed it should be for a job and not for personal use ( silly I know ) But since you mentioned it, what do you use it for if I may ask?
www.codehawke.com I use it to upload videos to AWS S3 buckets. It handles a bunch of automation tasks. I used to use it for scraping data a lot. Have built many websites with it.
coulda told me that before i burnt out before becoming 30years old :'D but yeah true words who cares about these extra few ms you could optimize out of your code except some geek at microsoft

You got this!

You’re a great coder, transparency is awesome here. The devils is in the details 👍
I appreciate that!
"Get things done".
That's essentially what "Engineering" is all about at its core.
Yep, AI will just help us get more things done.

(Sleep > Code)
Wrong.
Nah, he's right. You can't code for shit if you're exhausted and burned out.
Finally warm here in NOVA. Great message! LOL I wish I could forget web forms.

Been a slow creep into the summer with the weather this year.
Great to have you back making videos!
I've forgotten more code and IT stuff over the decades than most newer co-workers will know sometimes.
Hope you're doing well into this new crazy world of AI tools!
I love this kind of banther!
Me too
So basically focus on something I work on in the job and spend couples hours in a week to check whats new in the field? Great video
19.5 million views. Dude not bad

Wise words!
Thanks for watching!
I've definitely forgotten more code than I've written :) Nice view Chris.
You and me both!
Stressing over the fact that I have to pay rent learn to code all while not getting paid for it.
I did that for three years. Got to make money where you can till you get your break.
Sleep is not an issue for me. I can't stop coding in my sleep. I miss normal dreams.
They go away after the first 5 years or so, at least they did for me.
Right on all of it!
Nice to see you Rick!

You can unburn yourself, might take a few years though lol
