Not meant to replace an oven. It is a second oven/convection oven. In the summer months, this is what I use. Love this little guy. I actually use it quite a lot. From air fry feature to roasting chicken thighs, cooking up frozen pizzas and turning out the best chicken wings. The smoking/steam from the fries you made were because your fries were really wet. you should have dried them off really well with paper towels. would have been crispier.
I like the Star Trek comment at the end. LOL I would have wanted an Instruction on how to to set up the air fryer. Which nob/dial you use to select the cooking mode, how to select the temperature and so forth.
You can adjust the oven tone volume. Hold the defrost and fan buttons for 3 seconds and it gives you the option of 0 - no tone. 1- default. 2- loud tone. Use Time/temp dial to select and push in time/temp button to confirm.
Thanks for the recipes. Don't know why other toaster reviews don't cook something. That's what we're really here for. Those fries looked a little raw? Reminds me of my Nest thermostat, which is a little difficult to get used too. Thanks.
We don't own one, and probably won't get one, but I wonder how it'd do on Trader Joe's falafel as opposed to deep frying. If you haven't tried them, grab a box, they're easy to make - just add water, mix, rest for 30-60 minutes, form falafel & cook!
I don't like the fact that the "Off switch" is just one position of a 12-position selector knob. I'd rather have a dedicated "On/Off" switch. I do like the way it is built with a minimum amount of plastic and I like the pull-out bottom crumb tray and interior light.
yes! the off switch can be a little annoying but I do like the fact that if we forget about it, it would automatically turn off by itself. gives us a little piece of mind 😅 the pull-out crumb tray is an absolute lifesaver
@@MrMrsK21 Oh, so if the switch is bumped into one of the other eleven positions it will wait a bit and then turn itself off? If so that is reassuring.
Terrible review. You didn't even notice the chime sound has 3 settings-OFF, LOW OR HIGH! Do your homework. This is not meant to replace an oven! It's just an all in one unit but don't expect to cook a freakin turkey in it. Jeeez
My oven broke. I was using a regular toaster oven for everything. And I'm fine w that. Meatloaf. Mac n cheese. Fish. Cupcakes. I am looking for a air fryer to replace the toaster oven. I did cook a turkey breast in the toaster oven. It came out great!
Do you own an air fryer? What are some of your favorite recipes?

Wow!!! This was incredibly helpful! Thank you so much. We had to be very quite whenever doing things so we don't miss the tone 😂

Yea we definitely added too many potatoes at once which didn’t cook a lot of it all the way through. Hopefully this helped! 😃

Trader Joe’s falafel are so good! We love anything and everything from Trader Joe’s! So good! 😋
Oooh I didn't know they sold that! Thanks for letting me know.😝 I love falafel.❤️
It works great on the falafel and on the cauliflower gnocchi!
No matter how you're cooking your fries... always par boil them first.
How long does a friggin cord need to be? Where do you want it? Also, it's not meant to replace an oven. 🙄
Which model is this?
It’s the cuisinart digital airfry toaster oven from Costco. I believe the model number is CTOA-130PC2. Hope that helps.

@@davejoseph5615 Yup. Eventually 😀
French fries look so unevenly browned
