MAD does work, but if one side thinks they can come out ahead, then things get ugly. By letting them know you sabotaged their research lets them know they were on the right track.

But didn't it work better for humans in this story? Lack of "feel real" made aliens do more stupid shit so more of their worlds got destroyed. Very good situation for humans as smart aliens that quickly stopped acting retard could send fleet to solar system and destroy Earth and everything else there. Now their whole systems evaporated with all fleets in them.
It doesn't help any that the story has a very unrealistic depiction of time. FTL communication is fine, I buy it, but those supernovae would take minutes to explode, reach the planets, and then finally reach the camera. What was everyone doing, sitting and waiting for half an hour between each snap?
@@RevokFarthis well it could be using a FTL wave weapon… that could explain the creation of such of device that uses the very mechanism of FTL to detonate stars…. Oh my.
@@RevokFarthis Some kind of hyperspace weapon could theoretically look like a typical supernova but travel faster than the speed of light, although anything that would allow such a device to function would be invisible since it was exploding faster than the light could travel...
Another option, that is common for a lot of fictional universes is the speed of light is much higher than in ours.
@@mitchk7655what's the trope here, "sci-fi writers have no sense of scale?" something like that.
Like Starkiller Base blowing up a bunch of world in several systems, all clearly seen by other planets in other systems in real time without any tools necessary.
I like that theres this one chill race that knows they are safe lmao
Awesome story! I loved it. Here is a like and comment for the story, for entertaining me, to help your channel grow, and get you the recognition you deserve.
FAFO!! Thank you to the writer for writting the story and thank you to Agro for bring it to life!! WITH ENERGY!!
A dark story? I mean…it was justice.
Today this episode, instead of clickly click its snappy snap
I just read the OP's comments on the story. May the rest of their life be filled with peace and loving people.
Once is happenstance;
twice is coincidence;
three (or more) times is enemy action!

My first time ever being her for the premier!
Can we get more grim stories like this one?
Bro I was like oo aliens when I thought few thousands and millions Human hot killed but 32 billion Bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
O was jumping up and down laughing mad like mentally unstable person in hospital
Oo 32 billions now I will take trillions lol 🤣😂
Man all those aliens and they all stood on their hubris even after watching the Thresk get rekt and made virtually extinct LOL
I'm sure, not virtually, but literally extinct
By my beard, now you see laddy that's how one deals with bullies!
And the humans spread peace throughout galaxy, they just had to blow up half of it.
"Perfectly balanced, as it should be." The line uttered by an alien, yet written by a human.
What's a couple hundred systems in the face of several trillion?
Reminds me of the humans in "A New Fermi's Paradox."
F…*snap
A…*snap
F…*snap
O…snap
SNAP FOR THE ALGORITHM AND THE MAGNIFICENT NARRATOR.
The Thresk: "I'm sorry, we won't do that again. Haha!."
The Humans: "NO. snap YOU. snap WILL. snap NOT. snap BE. snap ABLE. snap TO. snap DO. snap ANYTHING. snap EVER. snap AGAIN. snap "
Great story, amazing narration, fantastic beard, please don't ever stop.
Stumbled on your stuff recently and I must say its such a refreshing pace to see a real face and hear a real voice narrating these wonderful tales from Reddit. I'm so fed up with the ai voice ai art ones they have no emotion, no effort, no *soul* put into the work. Please keep up the wonderful work you are doing. Liked, subbed and heres my comment.
Actually great story, love the stories you find and read to us. Much love.
Reminds me of a certain episode of the old spy show Burn Notice in which the protagonist pretends to be a new gangster challenging established gangs.SPOILER
He makes demands of them and every time they refuse he snaps his fingers and something that belongs to them blows up. Very effective.
El Diablo!
Man I loved that episode!! I specially like the part where the one guy tried snapping at the end and seeing if something happens.
This finger snapping of mass destruction is glorious
One of the best ones yet!! Great narration!
"How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man!"
I'm not a big fan of revenge and genocide, but in this case, I have to be at least understanding.
FAAFO indeed.
One of the best i've heard in a good while
Your reading is so awesome. Nice to see/hear a human reading. Please never bow to AI.
Slow learners. "And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my fingers upon thee!"
*Snap*
And like President Teddy Rosevelt once said “ Speak softly and Cary a BIG STICK!”
Great story; Excellent narration! This is the ultimate FAFO!
One of our strongest traits is that humans know how to carry a grudge. And how to pay it back. After all one of our oldest sayings is "revenge is the only dish that is best when eaten cold"
You get Exterminatus. And you get Exterminatus. Everybody gets Exterminatus.
A quote from Cassandra Clare comes to me. ‘There's no need to clarify my finger snap, said Magnus.’
however, I have to think that keeping your mouth shut about sabotaging and stealing knowledge from others would be a good idea.
Why? the ability to make stars explode and an empire disappear should be enough. Truly in reality once they saw it was real they would get real quite and NOT PISS THE HUMAN OFF
@@halslusher6030 if they were smart enough to recognize patterns.
@@halslusher6030 it used to be called OPSEC, the enemy or even potential enemy should guess what type of weapons you have, how many and where you gained the knowledge to create them.
At one time the United States was the only country to have nuclear weapons. The Russians manage to get the information and then there were two countries.
MAD does work, but if one side thinks they can come out ahead, then things get ugly.
By letting them know you sabotaged their research lets them know they were on the right track.
The Kranch: "Holy (insert whatever deity they might believe in)! How could you possibly have done that?!"
Humans: "Eh. It wasn't hard. Read some of our pre-space history if you REALLY want to be freaked out."
Dark? Nah, this is just another Tuesday for HFY.
Well the humans in this story have one great friend. The species whose lives they saved from the plague will be eternally grateful. The rest - looks like they deserve what they got. 32 billion humans are avenged.
indeed, 32 BILLION humans, were "Proportionally" avenged.
WICKED! Most Definitely one of the TOP 5 I have heard. Merci Beaucoup.
J.Robert Oppenheimer: I have become death, destroyer of worlds! Helped creat the Atomic Bomb.
dark but great story keep up the great narration.
“proportional response”
This is what happens when you piss off the Apex predator of an insanely high-level deathworld
I loved this story.
Wow, that was the darkest and awesome story I think you have ever read!
THAT was a great reading!… BRAVO!
Thank you for the video.
wait, you destroyed the human medics? oh snap!
Everyone but the krench fears the snap. The krench? They rejoice for it means help is coming.
Great story, well read. Thank you for the much needed distraction.
In all truth it's safer position to exit than wondering what it may be or something / someone else being it - as long as you remember that it's windy at the top of every mountaintop.
Yeah, but now there are almost no systems left (besides the Kranch) to be brought under the authority of the Terran Empire. Oh well, humans will just have to go exploring...
Man I would love to hear a follow up story to this one
I bet at that time, every human is watching that like the greatest TV program ever.
Just salivating as systems go supernova.
The most fucked up one yet. I like
Thank you for the reading
Great story, excellent narration of course. Thought the end needed to be elaborated on a little more.
👏👏👏👏
I seem to find myself re-watching/listening to this one every time it pops up in my recommended feed. I think this is like the 9th or 10th time.
And this is the reason why morality exists in polite society.
If you don't see a reason to care for other's lives... well... Its time to make a point.
But holly shit billions at a time...
This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.
100K for the teller of tales.
Guess you could say that the humans finally 'snapped'.
I apologize for nothing on this pun.
Classic case of "F around and find out."
This is a more realistic story about humanity than most. Humans don't take kindly to being pushed around or exterminated.
holy heck that is one hell of a story
Summary
Humans: Friends?
The council: *laughs
Human: *snaps
The council: *stops laughing
*Angers humans*:
*A hole solar system goes boom*
That was very inspiring, Thank you
This story has some cathartic feel good vibes to it
Great story/narration thanks!
And this is why when running into new species you should research their history.
Dang...good story. For the algorithm and the beard!!
Bravo, great story. Thanks to the author and your great narration.
IM SORRY. I WONT DO IT AGAIN.*snap*
Oh fuck yeah. I’ve been enjoying all of these, obviously, but I’m a sucker for the ultimate fuck around and find out stories
FANTASTIC STORY!!!!
