***** Correct, I know. I just think the album version is pure genius. And I respect that Muris took the time to learn the original solo instead of improvising a solo, that's all. It takes some serious effort to play on that level. Improvising is the easy way.

@molywaki Yeah, why not. Hybrid picking isn't always to make things easier but to give you more softly sound by using tip of your finger/s instead of the pick. :)

Guthrie govan is in my opinion the best guitarist of all time, not only is his music the most melodic and heavenly but also is so technically loaded that even the best guitarists of all time struggle to play his music
I think the trick is to feel kinda relaxed as you move the left hand around, cos it moves around alot so you may as well relax the wrist. Exorcizing your 3rd finger and pinky to get them stronger might help as well
you play masterfully. huge ups! & this is sort of a sidenote, but I've never noticed how grooving the backing track is lol. through decent headphones the bass comes from very nicely..
