Inmediately, without reading the title 😁
@LLondon
Not only clicking but talking notes and revising !!!
Me!!
I appreciate that this small space was in general actually small
My unfinished bathroom is tiny so I need all the help I can get Matthew! 👍🏻☺️
Thank you for a lot of ideas.
Yep yep
I thought the same thing! The bathrooms featured were actually small which is why I’m here 🙌🏾 I can use these ideas with full confidence!
She’s done it again killer content
KILLER!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for watching Dale! 🙏🏻☺️
You’re the best Tiarra 🙌🏻💕
OMG i couldnt have said it better myself
Thanks Julie, great content. It really helps me with my tiny powder room. In my master bathroom I have a 20 year old jacuzzi tub. Hard to get in and out of and would like to replace it.
I've looked into a walk-in tub, which I'm not sure if I like. A smaller alcove tub or just having a shower like in your pictures, which I prefer. But that would leave my house without a tub. Can you advise which is better for resale.
Small living room layout examples would be super helpful. It's great to have suggestions for storage, furniture, decor, etc, but I struggle more with how to put it all together than anything else.
It’s coming up Mandy! 🙌🏻☺️
@@JulieKhuu yay thank you!!!
This video is going in the archives!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟
Thank you for watching and all the love Tiarra! ☺️🙏🏻💕
I love that your content is always original and you show options to express many different styles whilst applying sound principles.
Thank you for watching Francesca! I try 🙌🏻☺️
I love it all... just to find out if its appropriate to ur make up station place in ir bathroom...and what is the ideal size of a shower ?
I LOVE THE CONTENT VERY MUCH.THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORKING
I have to say I love those black & white tiles that were in your old bathroom. I’m about as opposite of minimalist as possible tho
Thanks for the small spaces series BTW
I’m a maximalist as well Cheri! But I was so over those checkers 😆
@@JulieKhuu I hate checkers too, but I must admit I liked that bathroom of yours or at least all I could see :)) Do you think it was meant to trick the eye somehow and distract from the size? Though, I agree it was a bit in " your face" ...I would expect to see the Mad Hatter around...
I have to say, function is first for me. I need a place for my toothbrush, hair supplies, etc. i would rather my bathroom look small but able to handle daily routines! I have two small bathrooms. I am remodeling so that I have the maximum amount of vanity couner space. That means I lose a bathtub, that's okay with me!
Then closed cabinets are the way to go Teresa! Definitely make room for a tall cabinet if you can, either linen or vanity tower for those small toiletries 👍🏻
I do not really understand people following interior design channels but not really understanding the basic principles. Interior design is FUNCTION & Aesthetics. No design lacks functionality, it is built around client's needs. All designers will ask you to de-clutter: clutter is unfunctional, unhealthy and UGLY ..How many seconds will it take to put everything you use, back, behind doors? Why must they all sit on a counter or in open shelves? Is it that hard to hide them? Or you are just looking for more chores for you? Sacrificing a bathtub for that...oh I hope you do not plan to sell your house soon ( you will be losing big time). I am a busy mom and business woman, too. I know it might be difficult to keep everything in its place all teh time but I would go insane to see all my crap displayed on the counters. By the way, did you know how unhealthy keepeing exposed toothbrushes on the counter is, if the toilet is near by? Search that up, it will help ....
I didn't get an alert!?!??!!!!!! Wow RUclips....fail. subscribed and all. Good thing I check in on my own. Got you Khuu!!!!
Click the notification bell! :)
Click the bell Cassandra! Hope it works next week! Same time, same channel 🙌🏻😉

Perfect timing! I'm planning a bathroom remodel for a tiny full bathroom and I've been on the hunt for tips and tricks. Great addition to the series. Keep up the great work.
Awesome, hope these tips come in handy when you’re ready Chevy 🙌🏻☺️
Renovating our small bathroom and the MOST functional piece I bought was a pair of recessed mirror cabinets / medicine cabinets with integrated lighting and outlets inside that we plan to charge and store my beauty devices and our electrical toothbrushes. Vanity floats and we ran an LED strip along the bottom to make it feel even more airy. I also was very conscious of cabinet doors and drawers opening into our narrow walkway space so I opted for one with sliding doors instead and our bathroom door I also changed into a pocket door. Makes a HUGE difference! Toilet I changed to one with a concealed cistern, so the tank is in the wall, but I was also considering a back-to-wall one-piece toilet which would’ve also been space saving.
Brilliant moves Melissa! You think and design like a pro! 🙌🏻
Your small space series has been helping me plan and properly visualize the layout of my new home. It's my first home and it's pretty small and cozy. I was nervous, but you are really empowering me! Thank you! You're the best!
XOXO...
Small and cozy can still be amazing and inspired La Femme! You got this 🙌🏻
@@JulieKhuu Thank you so much!

Thank you for watching Sibongile 🙏🏻☺️
Great video confirming some well-known aspects (floating cabinets, frameless shower cabins, etc) but I find the glossy black paint and the wallpaper advice very interesting. Thanks for sharing these tips! Many viewers here might not understand how precious your channel is: these tips are not taught in design schools, and we pay tens of thousands of $ for a course.
Aw thank you so much for watching and the feedback DF. I appreciate you! 🙏🏻☺️

Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching Ally! ☺️💚
Julie's, your videos are valuable because they are thorough! My favorite was when you recommended applying a dark wall color or using a bigger patterned wallpaper in the bathroom so the small space appears larger, I'm going to do this. When I was thinking about applying black to the walls of my bathroom a couple years ago, many folks said it would make it appear smaller because I don't have a window. But now that there's someone who has the knowledge recommending this for windowless small bathrooms, I'm relieved and feel more confident going forward. Additionally, I enjoy all the high-quality photos and it's evident how much time is spent finding picture examples that accurately reflect your interior/exterior designing knowledge & opinions. That being said, it took a lot of verbal signals before I realized you were placing the exhibits side-by-side to juxtapose what to avoid and what to do instead, but I still have trouble identifying which photo exhibit is meant to be avoided even though having this visual indicator is very important. As such, do you mind adding an additional visual indicator next to the exhibits to help the slowpokes like me mentally register what you're pointing out, using a ✅❌Checkmark or X-mark? Thank You!
Thank you for watching and the awesome descriptive feedback Jesse! You’re right, I’ll make it much more easy to discern the ❌s and ☑️s for future videos 👍🏻☺️

Love your cool, but down to earth and no-nonsense style! The photos of the navy blue wallpapered bathrooms are inspiring me to wallpaper the tiny foyer in our antique family homestead that dates to the early 1800s. I guess it's more of a vestibule, but the formal Cape Cod captain's stairs with balusters and mahogany railings go straight up, and the parlor is to the left and the dining room is to the right. Thinking the navy wallpaper with a bold but interesting (and quirky) design would look fabulous there!
Brass looks fabulous with navy btw! Love your direction, do it Cat! 🙌🏻☺️
Absolutely loved this thank you

First I'm going to have two more people watching your videos...Then I will convence them to change the vanity for a pedestal sink, get rid of the door and put tile in the shower of that tiny bathroom on the hall 😄We've been talking for moths about a make over for that bathroom. This video is brilliant!!! The ideas make so much sense yet I hadn't quite fully thought of them. The images picked really illustrated the points beautifully with a good range of styles. Pausing long enough to let the photos sink in. I see why they hired you to design hotel ok bathrooms! Looking forward to watching more of your videos. May need to add this to the list of my favorite decor channels!

im in the process of a DIY small bathroom remodel. i have the tile removed and drywall finished, ready for design and paint and this video really helped. Now, decisions, decisions. Wish you were here Julie to help create the look !!
Awesome! Whittle down your favorites- tape the looks to the wall and make sure you love it every day! That’s the winner 🙌🏻
love all the ideas!!
Thank you for watching Rosaline 🙏🏻☺️
Great tips! I especially like the idea of using a light colored scheme to make the space feel more open. Another trick I've used in small bathrooms is to hang a large mirror on one wall. It reflects light and makes the space feel twice as big.
Yes! The bigger the better 🙌🏻
Ms. Julie Khuu, thank you sincerely for sharing your wisdom, tips, structural/technical building insights with us.
I plan to build out my own 40 ft. tiny home, however I want it to visually feel sleek, functional, and be smart every single square inch!
This video along with a few others I watched either confirmed I was on the money with some ideas and or provided me insight to be mindful of to elevate a part of the design to **TRULY** maximize both visual impact and function! Flow and function lead the way for me, however visual tranquility is a quick skip behind... So again, I thank you for sharing your knowledge and style. I also thoroughly appreciate the obvious time and effort put into each video, job well done all around and I want you to move close to town so we can go out for post-COVID cocktails and analyze design everywhere we go! ✌🏽😁🤭✊🏽😎💜💜💜
Thank you so much for watching Goddess! Best of luck with your custom home! What a blast you’ll have designing it! 🙌🏻☺️
Aww, good morning@@JulieKhuu and thank you for sharing your sunshine and encouragement!

Extremely rich content, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge Julie! Can you please tell me if I can cover the bathroom ceiling with wall paper as well? Are there any disadvantages to doing so?
I covered mine with grasscloth. Heat and humidity play a part, so make sure the paper is rated for wet areas 👍🏻
Love love love these bathroom ideas. Would like to see more ideas for how to use shower curtains and decor to transform a space when you cannot change major elements (toilet, vanity.) The typical bathroom but luxury on a budget, if that makes sense. Like, if you came in my house, a typical bathroom in a moderate priced home, tub/shower combo.
I’ll add more decor in the next bathroom roundup Debra! Thank you for watching 🙏🏻☺️
Well done Julie
Thank you for watching Sam 🙏🏻☺️
Thank you so much for these tips. I am in the planning stage of remodeling our small guest bath and thinking of using textured tiles on the focal wall where the vanity and toilet bowl are located, use a ceiling-to-vanity lighted mirror, single-lever faucet. I will use your suggestion of using the same floor tiles for the entire bathroom & shower. I initially wanted to use a chinoiserie wallpaper with large prints, a Venetian mirror, and a chandelier but I'm not sure about the durability of the wallpaper.
If the bathroom doesn’t get a ton of use and there’s a operable window Rose, then I’m sure the paper will hold up. Sounds fabulous though! I’m a sucker for chinoiserie 😍
I've had wall paper in my tiny full guest bathroom for 15 yrs, I do have regular visitors who shower. While my main bathroom is being renovated as we speak, my husband & I are showering there, no issues so far.🙂
I can’t wait for her video on how to patch up a hole in the wall, especially one as large as the hole in her Extreme Bathroom Makeover video
It will be a full on DIY video 🙌🏻☺️
I've installed bar faucets on all of my bathroom sinks. Stylish with nice finishes, well-crafted, single lever, they rotate, and are much higher up. It's very functional and they're little pieces of art.
Ooh I love that! Thank you for watching and sharing RaRa 🙏🏻☺️
So much amazing information in one video. I love all your examples and I appreciate all the work you put into this video. I have 3 bathrooms to renovate this info is timely and actionable.
I wish I could give you 5 gold stars ⭐️ 🌟 💫 ✨ ⭐️ instead of one like.
Aw thank you so much for watching and the support Gina 🙏🏻☺️
Hi Julie! Amazing video as always! I am currently deciding on the aesthetic for my powder room renovation. I picked out a really pretty marbled porcelain tile with gray and gold veins. It's subtly dramatic, so I'm not too sure what to do for the walls. I was thinking of doing panel molding on the bottom half, but not sure if it will be too boring. Any advice? Thank you as always!
You can always wallpaper the upper half for some punch Hannah 👍🏻☺️
I’m just not someone who loves shower curtains- I find them grubby, wet and too busy. There’s a thing as semi-frameless showers, this is my preference every time.
Thank you for highlighting a number of parts to look out for.
I think I would have liked to hear your views on tiling more, such as type for use on floors. I currently have deep brown floor tiles. I’d never recommend them to others as they show every speck of watermark and dirt- not sure if a higher gloss would have changed it -
Check out my bathroom mistakes video for finishing tips Paris! Thank you for watching 🙏🏻☺️
