Thank you sir. I still use my T420 every day, it runs Win 11 nicely. 16GB Ram and an SSD, it is still very quick. Cleaned and oiled the fan, and applied fresh compound to the heatsink. Quiet as a mouse now. 🙂

I'm sorry for English is not my first language, but i tried to explain as simple as possible
My method is to put the screws in order you get it.
Example, the laptop is square, and you start from bottom right to the left, so just put the screws out in another plate (making a square shape of your laptop) from bottom right to the left

Well I don't mark them, because I put them in a curtain cell in my box... I have some sort of schematic..... You can mark them or write some schematic on a black paper.
