I actually don't hate these changes at all. I look forward to seeing them all become reality. Guardians, the Play Pavilion, and the division of Future World, it all looks amazing. And the show HarmoniUS looks awesome. The music for the show is just beautiful. Really gets me excited to see the full show when it premieres. Plus, World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature's pavilions all have a sort of World's Fair vibe to them, which was definitely what Disney was going for when they first created EPCOT Center: A timeless World's Fair.
I am very upset to see the original go but I do agree that this place needs a change the last time I went there weren't alot of people there and it so empty
I’m excited for the changes. No lie, I am going to miss some of the old things since nostalgia but I’m excited we’re gonna get a new cohesive layout of Epcot that isn’t just Future World and World Showcase. Also I’m happy that even though they are bringing some of their characters into the parks that it is still going to have some kind of educational aspect which I loved in Epcot
Journey of Water - made it PLAY! - cancelled Guardians of the Galaxy - thankfully made it Spaceship Earth reimagining - cancelled Wondrous China - cancelled Ratatouille - made it Mary Poppins - cancelled Harmonious - made it…and cancelled
TOM MISEVICH I would say, they remembered him, but abandoned his ideas for Epcot as well as early imagineers idea of Epcot as a place that celebrates humanity's advancements and technology.
WOW!!!😱😱 so, this is........ PHENOMENAL!!!😁😁😁 I can't wait to be the first to see the new "EPCOT Experience center", which is now open at Odyssey Pavilion in Epcot!! And I finally can't wait to be the first to see the transformation of the new reimagined Epcot from the very beginning of throughout the year at Walt Disney World resort in Orlando!! This is perfect and so excited!!!😁😁 And now, they were transformed Future World and World Showcase into the 4 new neighborhood area: *World Celebration *World Discovery *World Nature *World Showcase And a whole new ride and attractions: *Journey of Water *Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which was actually "Xandarian Outpost" and it's all because of "Avengers Campus" around the world at Disney Parks and Resorts *Mary Poppins attraction as Cherry Lane Park *Canada: Far and Wide *Wondrous China *PLAY! Pavilion *Remy's Ratatouille Adventure And so much more And returning the classic ride and attractions as the new reimagined ones: *Spaceship Earth *Soarin' Around the World *Mission SPACE *Frozen Ever After *La Gran Fiesta, featuring the 3 Caballeros And so much more And a brand new restaurant: *Space 220 restaurant And a whole new nighttime spectacular show: *Epcot Forever as Limited-Time nighttime spectacular show *HarmonioUS as a new show So, thank you for sharing with us all!!😘😘 and Soon, there was the beginning of the 50th Golden Anniversary celebration of Magic Kingdom park and Walt Disney World resort as Coming in 2021 and the 40th anniversary celebration of Epcot, which is Coming in 2022 as near the future, after the end of the 20th Anniversary celebration of Disney's Animal Kingdom, since 1998 and the continuation of the 30th anniversary celebration of Disney's Hollywood Studios, since 1989!!! And now, this is REALLY PHENOMENAL!!😁😁 and what I'm really trying to saying is....... I want them all and I can't wait to be the first to see a new Limited-time nighttime spectacular show, Epcot Forever, tonight at Epcot!!😁 Got it?
The original idea - the planned city - was the Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow. After Walt died and Disney abandoned the city concept they changed it to "Community."
Not sure I understand the comment about them doing a better job with the technology. I thought this looked pretty stupendous. You can't please everyone I guess.
I believe most of these renovations will be complete by 2021. But some things like the Mary Poppins attraction and the refurbishment of Spaceship Earth might be finished the following year in 2022.
Inksterwiz I don't see how that's possible. They're basically replacing half of Innoventions with a bunch of trees no plantlife. Not to mention the PLAY! pavilion and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind are both opening in 2021, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and the new shows for the China and Canada and Land pavilions will open net year, Space 220 will open later this year, and the Mary Poppins attraction will most likely be ready by 2022, which is possibly the same year that Spaceship Earth will complete its renovations (or the year before that) which leaves just the entrance and World Celebration left to refurbish, which should not take 5 years too complete. May I remind you it took less than that to build Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios?
What I imagine what is coming with the digital city a new dance party like Disney junior jam a new interactive ride and a new show with Edna form the incredibles
WHY do they have to tease us with a prominent model of the Imagination Pavilion and talk of exciting new changes yet neglect the one ride that's suffered so much at the hands of change and is in desperate need of it? When will the Dreamfinder finally return to us?
I absolutely loved going there last week. Sadly, Harmonious is the only thing I'm not excited for. It doesn't seem like it belongs in Epcot! It is more of a MK or HS fare. I don't think it is a fitting replacement for ROE. It isn't unique to Epcot's edutainment flair, but of course I realize that I am becoming in the minority for that. It's ok though, bc I see myself doing lots of rides during that time period so I guess it's a win win. But the preview center photos and experience got me very excited!
Why does this just make me sad? I should be interested in all the new ideas that are coming out of the Imagineers, but this presentation feels like I'm watching EPCOT Center slowly die in front of me. It's lost its way. What was supposed to be a permanent World's Fair, something to celebrate us as different cultures coming together and the shared progress of technology on different fronts, has now become ways to insert IPs that have tangential relationships to natural or technological concepts. What is the Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind! roller coaster supposed to highlight in terms of technology? What does Moana have to do with the cycle of water and the renewal of our planet, or was it designed from the other end trying to promote Moana first and a concept second? What technology does the PLAY! Pavilion teach us about? What is going on with this park?
At least this is fresh I mean let's be real, the central idea for EPCOTs future world and pavilions was interesting, but it was dated as soon as it was finished, and never caught up. I'd much rather them try something different than let the park go down the path it has been.
Shouldn't Mary Poppins go to Disney Studios?🤔 Actually, is it me or is EPCOT no longer inspiring for...nerds, kids that want to invent, future engineers, etc?🧐 Great video of the presentation though.
ohbogey it’s hard to keep up with technology so they are trying to shift into the possibility realm and story telling rather than technology. Also Mary Poppins is in Epcot because of the UK pavilion and also the need for more guest space and attractions. Plus people just wanted it in Epcot
The presentation itself is impressive but their plans for the park are lame for the most part. Even with the improvements the overall plans still have nothing to do with the premise of the park as it was originally imagined.
Looks like garbage, all of it. But we knew the new Epcot would be MK 2.0...right down to the lazy reuse of Go the Distance as the finale for HarmoniUS.
That’s an amazing presentation. Great job, Imagineers!!!
Its sad to see so many hate on these changes, I think this will make the park feel fresh again and atleast more chohesive.
I love how Disney's putting some green in the center of Future World/World Celebration. I always disliked how everything felt like concrete.
We're SDTILL coming up with new innovations.

I’m so excited for these changes BUT I can’t help but think hollywood studios needs a revamp more
I’m excited for the changes. More people need to see this.
Omg that was simply amazing. It was like a ride in itself. Cannot wait to get back and see all of this x
Let’s go at the same time
Epcot is already my favorite park, and now is becoming even better...
Journey of Water - made it
PLAY! - cancelled
Guardians of the Galaxy - thankfully made it
Spaceship Earth reimagining - cancelled
Wondrous China - cancelled
Ratatouille - made it
Mary Poppins - cancelled
Harmonious - made it…and cancelled
The firework show at the end gave me chills
SPECTACULAR!!!! If only the reality matches the hype.
Thats my hope, if not, the parks gonna get completely revamped a fouth time which is what they need to try to avoid
AS LONG AS THE DISNEY CORPORATION EMPIRE NEVER FORGETS "WALT", CUZ WITHOUT HIM THERE WOULD BE NO DISNEY ANYTHING!
TOM MISEVICH I would say, they remembered him, but abandoned his ideas for Epcot as well as early imagineers idea of Epcot as a place that celebrates humanity's advancements and technology.
The music at 7:20 is simply amazing. I want that song on repeat
Gregory Engeler Good news! The song is from stock music company Extreme Music and is called “Brain Forest”
Please add captions so that those who have hearing and audio processing disabilities can also tell what's being said!
No mention here of the new film coming to Canada ...
6:07 we can all agree Disney bought the rights to use Give up the funk on Every gotg ride
I see the Norway and Morocco pavilions lit up for HarmonioUS.
Amazing...I can't wait to see it in person for the 50th anniversary!
WOW!!!😱😱 so, this is........ PHENOMENAL!!!😁😁😁

*Space 220 restaurant

*Epcot Forever as Limited-Time nighttime spectacular show
*HarmonioUS as a new show
So, thank you for sharing with us all!!😘😘 and Soon, there was the beginning of the 50th Golden Anniversary celebration of Magic Kingdom park and Walt Disney World resort as Coming in 2021 and the 40th anniversary celebration of Epcot, which is Coming in 2022 as near the future, after the end of the 20th Anniversary celebration of Disney's Animal Kingdom, since 1998 and the continuation of the 30th anniversary celebration of Disney's Hollywood Studios, since 1989!!!

Got it?
What do you mean returning the old attractions and rides into the new imagined ones?
How about Imagination?
Wait was that a hercules constellation?
In the show, Walt calls EPCOT, "Experimental CITY of Tomorrow". I've also heard him call it "Community" instead of "City". Which is correct?
The original idea - the planned city - was the Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow. After Walt died and Disney abandoned the city concept they changed it to "Community."
Any clue at all where the music starting at 0:45 is from??
So cool hopefully they will do this with other parks in the future!
Not sure I understand the comment about them doing a better job with the technology. I thought this looked pretty stupendous. You can't please everyone I guess.
I agree it was a great presentation
This is going to be awesome
6:04 That was from Mission Breakout!
You mean Cosmic Rewind?
@@user-uq8rc3wq1g no I'm talking about the ride in CA LA
True
Does anyone know what song is at the 45 second mark?
I believe most of these renovations will be complete by 2021. But some things like the Mary Poppins attraction and the refurbishment of Spaceship Earth might be finished the following year in 2022.
No they said it will be 5 years

@@mitchellries256 it's not what I think it's what I believe Disney New Cast said
Inksterwiz Well right now that's just a theory, and one that I find hard to believe. If I were you, I wouldn't take their word seriously just yet.
@@mitchellries256 oh okay
Never saw it!!!!!! Walk past that area and no signs?
When is the special preview open till?
I’m hoping the glass pyramid on the model means that Figment’s safe
Same!!!

The Guardians bit had me in stitches
Woah....
Holy Cow!!!!!!

As much as I am going to miss the old Epcot, I have to say that these are necessary changes. The original vision for Epcot just doesn’t work anymore.
Wait I dont understand why they are keeping one building though
Instead of taking down both
This is awesome!!! Stole the idea from Sea World but, still cool.
Why does this just make me sad? This video just makes me sad now.
Dud crowd. No one even applauds.
Seems kind of corny huh? Like they could have done a much better job w today's technology
What did you expect? It's a temporary preview. It's a huge step up from what they had for Galaxy's Edge in Launch Bay.
Looks like garbage, all of it. But we knew the new Epcot would be MK 2.0...right down to the lazy reuse of Go the Distance as the finale for HarmoniUS.
