Of all the Epcot Forever videos on YT, including the one on the official Disney channel, this is by far the best video. It's the only one that I watched from beginning to end. Hats off to you, Brayden! And what about that stunning moon on background? Beautiful!
Ami Fres yes! The camera is so good, not only could you see the crescent, but you could see the entire shape of the moon. INCREDIBLE. Braden is exceptional. Truly a cut above. And yes, better than Disney. I’ll be pissed if they snap him up and take him away from us 😉.

I agree. I watched the live stream last night and it missed a lot of the detail and nuance. Constantly panning and darker images. This captured it all nicely!
Nice retro music from the extinct attractions. Overall, the show is frothy - bright - great fireworks - but lacks the, um, gravity that Illuminations REflections of Earth had. This show is light entertainment that is forgettable as soon as you walk away.
Allow me to improve the final segue a tad. "The dreams we dream, The hopes inside us Ignite the path We take to guide us And hand in hand, Our future will be strong With just one spark... WE GO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOON"
The lagoon feels really empty without all the barges and fountains. Cool show but without those items it feels like something's missing. I really hope they find a way to use the inferno barge for Harmonious.
It's almost like they gave something for everyone there: classic EPCOT for us. Classic Disney for kids. Weird how Disney would want to entertain everyone, huh?
Unpopular opinion - I think a Whole New World fits the theme perfectly even if it is from an IP, the message is the same. I love the nostalgia of classic Epcot, but also the optimistic look forward. Hopefully Disney does a good job implementing the appropriate IPs after what they have learned this past decade, and maybe we might see a good mixture of Epcot originality and movie representation in the future; perfectly balanced as all things should be.
Great quality video. That being said, I have the feeling this new show is NO step forward compared to the decade old show they shut down. I expected to see a lot of new technology put into work. I read somewhere that drones would have a big part in it, but I don’t feel that using them as kites was really that impressive.
Agreed. Honestly, I feel like this show is a step BACKWARD from Illuminations. Less epic, no originality whatsoever, seems like they put it together in a rush overnight.
Loved this show...EXCEPT for that finale. Whole New World?? What's your Magic Kingdom doing in my EPCOT? They should have just had it end with a grander version of Tomorrow's Child or a snipet of "We Go On" from Illuminations. Also, was this shot on an iPhone 11??
If You Can Dream It attendance is down quite a bit with construction lately. I went there in November 2017 and the lack of rides was indeed a gripe, especially considering the size of the park. I can’t say IP’s will save the park or not.
I am kinda torn on the IPs. I understand its meant to be an attendance boost and to help it compete with the updates to the other parks. I don't really mind the IPs so much, as long as they are done thoughtfully and not in your face like say a Magic Kingdom. I think attendance would be better served by Epcot original stuff though. The Tapestry parade was soooooo memorable for me as a kid. I would rather see more Epcot originals along those lines be made again, as opposed to IPs.
god ive only been to epcot once but i was crying at all of the old pavilion songs. I wish I was alive to see Epcot in its prime before the IPs took over. and gOD WALTS VOICE MADE ME CRY MORE
I personally don't think this temporary show is that good. It was always the power of the music in Illuminations that brought tears to my eyes, the light and fireworks show was just a nice accompaniment. This show felt like they had the LED/Sparkler kites and were very proud of them so they built a show with them, and they felt more like distractions to me. All the callback songs felt like weak attempts to tug at my heartstrings which simply made me want Illuminations back more than ever. I am glad this is only a temporary show, though I am worried that Disney will fall into the same trap when they break out the drones for the next version. Having the tech is not enough Disney, you really need to use said tech to knock our socks off. I hope the next soundtrack is vastly superior to this one as Epcot's show is now one to skip for me. Some will say I just can't handle change which is simply untrue. I have quality standards that I expect Disney to meet. I have these expectations because that is the bar Disney has raised it to in the past with many of their shows. Not so scary parade is a great example of Disney firing on all thrusters. The water show at AK was an example of them asleep at the wheel. I hope they can find their creativity and make magic again. I miss the days when Disney would inspire people young and old alike to dream...
Yeah I agree. I feel that epcot forever is generic and clichéd and doesn't personify the park well despite its name. IROE was original and emotional to the audience.
Epcot Forever is a snore and lacks everything that made Illuminations an award winning show year after year. Illuminations was groundbreaking and feels more modern/high tech than this show. Crazy to think they spent money and time on a show that feels like a backpedal.
Awesome video Braeden. Personally loved the show a ton except a whole new world. I think it was their too say basically that the new EPCOT is coming but was still unnecessary. But I’ll give props to Disney for not putting other Ips in it.
Thanks so much Brayden. I looked at the rest, but your video was the best (even better than Disney's livestream). Now I can watch and enjoy it in 4 weeks in person without bothering to video since I could never do the job that you did. Thanks again.
Absolutely Fantastic Job!! Your video was better than the Disney Live Stream. I watched a couple other videos and neither captured the show like you did here. I am looking forward to seeing it live...
This brings tears to my eyes. I remember all of those songs and all of those rides. I believe I have them all on tape. I have to go trough all of them to see. When that fireworks show was playing at EPCOT, I was a cast member at Walt Disney World. I use to get into all of the four parks for free. Wowww! That is incredible. It really brings tears to my eyes. And you know what? After all of those years working for Disney, I have earned three more degrees including a doctorate degree in accounting which brings me to four degrees, and I have one more semester to complete to get my fifth degree in accountancy this spring in 2023. That is five degrees total including a doctorate degree. God does some miraculous things. Yes He does. He has truly blessed me. I have come a long way since working for Disney and growing up as a kid. I would have never imagine that one day I would have five degrees including a doctorate degree. I am so humble and so grateful because I can't believe how far I have come. Wowwww!!! When I finish this spring guess what I am going to do? "I am going to Walt Disney World!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!
I just got to see this a few weeks ago and when "One Little Spark" started I legit started crying. Figment is my favorite for so many reasons. Everything he represents is everything Epcot wanted to show us
This is definitely the best quality footage of this amazing show that I've seen yet. Hearing Walt Disney's voice at the beginning of the show definitely caused me to tear up a little. Spectacular.
Fantastic job filming this, it looks amazing. Nice to hear the old EPCOT songs, though I'm sure the only song most people watching the show will recognize is the one from Aladdin. The Whole New World section was actually my favorite part, it had those shocking fireworks dramatically launching just off the shore of the lagoon.
Great work, Brayden. Looks like getting a spot with an unobstructed view will be worthwhile -- otherwise, people panning with cell phones in front of you, the whole show.
Watched this 3 times now from different vlogs, yours is the best overall👏🏼👏🏼 great job. I really enjoyed the show, will see it live in about 8 weeks🎉🎉 can’t wait😁

This amazing show Brayden, it's a shame that it is only temporary and it brings back memories of my family and I being there. I miss "Horizons" and the "Universe of Energy" so much as well as the "Living Seas" and "Journey Into Imagination"...I also miss the Wonders of Life and "Cranium Command" as well as "Body Wars"...I was devastated when Met Life pulled its sponsorship for the Wonders of Life Pavilion and Exxon pulled their sponsorship for the Universe of Energy. United Technologies did the same for the Living Seas and AT&T pulled their sponsorship for Spaceship Earth. But for some strange reason, the "World of Motion" (even though it was under different sponsors) was a hit and then Test Track came and took it over and now its better than ever. This fireworks show should stay around forever Brayden...its awesome and it brings back the magic of the real EPCOT Centre.
Wow, that was great Brayden. Thank you for sharing. A brilliant musical homage to former attractions with the wonderful narration and singing by children. Magic Journeys! Veggie, Fruit, Fruit! Tomorrow's Child! I was glad to see the audience enthusiasm when hearing Dreamfinder and Tapestry of Nations. Yes, don't get stuck in the past but don't forget it. I really enjoyed this.
I appreciate this spectacular video but I feel like this show was just slammed together. All disney nighttime shows have an incredibly detailed flow and connection between story telling and visuals/colors/fireworks. In this one there are awkward gaps, random moments where I felt disconnected from the story, and the drone things are pretty.... the first 30 seconds.
Fantastic capture of the show. It gives me mixed impressions though. Fireworks are stellar, medley not so much. Does anyone else hear the Star Trek Generations Overture during the early bits?
Excellent filming and sound! Well done! As for the show, not one bit of the music is memorable. Kids singing? Never cared for that, even at MK. EPCOT is one of Disney's best parks, but I never really got into the scores from the attractions. Illuminations from start to finish was emotional, powerful and memorable...and not tied to anything. It was a unique soundtrack that endured. An attraction in itself! Too bad they couldn't just update the visuals yet keep the Illuminations music. Thanks for posting!
Absolutely awesome.. My Step Dad is one of the people flying those kites.. Scott, if you're reading this, Dude, that was B.A., getcha some!!! 🍻🍻🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍
Brayden thank you so much for the amazing video and letting us all experience this new show too! I really can't wait to hear your reactions and thoughts about the show!
I think it's there for two reasons, 1) its meant to represent the Epcot 'reinvention' (a whole new world) and 2) its meant to represent the future of the show itself (Harmonious). Just my thoughts.
Probably signifies Bob Chapek wanting the park to be based on mostly intellectual properties (IP’s). The big problem with that is EPCOT is supposed to be nonfiction while IP’s are fiction. A crucial mark is missed.
@@conchrepublictheband The thing and big issue is that head of parks Bob Chapek introduced the show at D23 as celebrating the past, present, and future of the park. Chapek has been instrumental in installing more Intellectual Properties (IP's) into Disney parks. Almost every new attraction in their parks is based of some existing IP, unlike the original properties of Epcot on opening day. The problem with Aladdin in Epcot is that Epcot is supposed to be about nonfiction, while Aladdin is as fantasy as it gets with the Genie and the magic carpet. It's a shame this is the direction Disney wants for their parks. One can claim they did market research, but look to Galaxy's Edge to find that their research doesn't always compute.
ecoRfan absolutely! very familiar with Chapek and his background in Disney Consumer Products. We were at the parks for the Farewell and the Debut of Epcot Forever. Visited Galaxy’s Edge and was impressed/surprised with the abundance of merchandise compared to experience. During the Disney decade, Eisner took branding synergy to a new level but Eiger and Chapek... oh man, the sky’s the limit on marketing those IP’s in place of a true Disney experience.
I'm suprised I didnt jump to this conclusion earlier, but this reminds me of "Disneyland Forever", an anniversary show banking on nostalgia, featuring quotes from Walt Disney regarding theme park evolution, and its largest musical number being taken from a well-recieved animated film. Oddly enough, the 60th's neighboring show, "World Of Color - Celebrate!" was a much more romantic view on the parks than both the Forever shows were.
What a great video! Great quality and you picked the perfect spot. Hope all is going well and you're settled in your new place. I'm a new subscriber. Wishing you much success for your dedication and hard work

Allow me to improve the final segue a tad.
"The dreams we dream,
The hopes inside us
Ignite the path
We take to guide us
And hand in hand,
Our future will be strong
With just one spark...
WE GO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOON"
The show is literally in the middle of the world showcase, so I rather them say "a whole new world" than any other disney song
And “A Whole New World” would be a metaphor for A Whole New EPCOT
The lagoon feels really empty without all the barges and fountains. Cool show but without those items it feels like something's missing. I really hope they find a way to use the inferno barge for Harmonious.
This aged well lol
It's almost like they gave something for everyone there: classic EPCOT for us. Classic Disney for kids. Weird how Disney would want to entertain everyone, huh?
I cried as soon as it started that show was so beautiful and holds the true message of Epcot
Incredible Brayden!! Thank you for bringing this to us!!
Amazing quality!! Watched this live on my tv from the disneyparks channel and this far exceeds that video :)
Wow!! Loved the Journey into Imagination, Universe of Energy, and Kitchen Kabaret tributes. Great video.
IKR? EPCOT just fucked itself up. IllumiNations is waaaay better and this is a FACT! I don't want EPCOT to end up this way.
I loved we go on..
god ive only been to epcot once but i was crying at all of the old pavilion songs. I wish I was alive to see Epcot in its prime before the IPs took over. and gOD WALTS VOICE MADE ME CRY MORE
I watched this live on the Disney RUclips channel and I have to tell you ,you did an outstanding job filming this. Perfect location 😎
Exactly, Illuminations song is powerful. For me one of the best of Disney. Just the song is able to hit your feelings and the Epcot goal.
Epcot Forever is a snore and lacks everything that made Illuminations an award winning show year after year. Illuminations was groundbreaking and feels more modern/high tech than this show. Crazy to think they spent money and time on a show that feels like a backpedal.
This is the best footage I’ve seen so far, what type of camera was this Brayden, since when do you film in 4K?
Awesome video Braeden. Personally loved the show a ton except a whole new world. I think it was their too say basically that the new EPCOT is coming but was still unnecessary. But I’ll give props to Disney for not putting other Ips in it.
I feel like if they ended the show with a finale at the end of the tapestry of nations segment the show wouldve left a better taste in my mouth
I've seen lots of coverage of this new nighttime show and this is by far the best. Great coverage and audio was superb!
Thanks so much Brayden. I looked at the rest, but your video was the best (even better than Disney's livestream). Now I can watch and enjoy it in 4 weeks in person without bothering to video since I could never do the job that you did. Thanks again.
Sadly after seeing Harmonious, I realize I liked THIS show a whole lot better! RIP old Epcot.
Absolutely Fantastic Job!! Your video was better than the Disney Live Stream. I watched a couple other videos and neither captured the show like you did here. I am looking forward to seeing it live...
It just turning into a magic kingdom style show there is something about volume that makes it different
The fireworks in your recording look better than in person lol. Nice video.
I just got to see this a few weeks ago and when "One Little Spark" started I legit started crying. Figment is my favorite for so many reasons. Everything he represents is everything Epcot wanted to show us
Brayden once again...your work outshines so many others. I’m so glad I found your channel!
This is definitely the best quality footage of this amazing show that I've seen yet. Hearing Walt Disney's voice at the beginning of the show definitely caused me to tear up a little. Spectacular.
Wow, night mode really makes this show POP! Great job!!
World of colors in Disneyland is still the best. All those lights interacting through water will never die in our souls!...
Wow you got one of the better seats in the house. Great footage! Thanks for sharing.
Aladdin finale ruined it. Perfect representation of Epcot being unique and creative and replaced by Disney IPs
Best part of show is 2:33 to 5:38. Three solid minutes, albeit hurried.
6:55 to 8:40 is good but that Golden Dream segment was very hurried. The Tapestry parts are quite satisfying though.
Walts vision for Epcot was a whole new world for everyone.*
Great footage Brayden!!! Cant wait to go see it!
Nice spot! I really like the fire kites but wish they included Dreamfinder instead of using Nigel’s lines
Everytime I hear a child sing a piece of me dies
It's fine with only one song, then they make everything only the children and ugh...
Why?
**ROFLMAO!!** Exactly - they want to make sure you're OD'ing on cuteness.
@@Iuventius Dreams...Imagination....our Future.....Children.
That was fantastic Branden. It’s great to see Epcot moving forward, A wonderful Nostalgic spectacular. I must also congratulate you on the Quality of the picture and sound in this clip. By far the best Ive seen of Epcot Everafter. You can even see the crest moon in the sky.
Thanks Brayden! Really enjoyed it. Does anyone see the irony of using the word ‘Forever’ in a show that won’t last a year?
Update: it lasted a year
I personally love Epcot Forever. Better fireworks and special effects. I enjoyed the show immensely.
Awesome capture as usual. This new show looks great!
So far this is the best video of the fireworks I’ve seen!
One thing, before everything starts, blow the torches out.
Can't beat IROE.
Say it louder!!!
Really looking forward to seeing this in less than two weeks! Thanks for the preview, Brayden. Great job, as always.
Wow! That was better than Disney Parks Blog! What 4K Camera did you film this with? It looked fabulous on our AppleTV 4K?
This is such a beautiful show. I wish it would stay longer so I can see it in person.
I love Disney
It’s a great show. I just want to know why they put in All New World. That’s not an Epcot song.
Walt's vision for Epcot was A Whole New World for Everyone at the time!*
Was great except for the random Aladdin music at the end.
@woollimy I get it but it doesn't match and I don't love it.
8:44 - 9:00 aww that's cute and nostalgic
9:01 WTF IS THIS!?!
Disney could have used “We Go On” to usher in Epcot Forever.
Great job, Brayden. Your hard work is appreciated. As for the show itself.....😐
thank you. That's a quality camera too.
Wow what an awesome video of an amazing show, thank you for sharing 😍
looking good!
What a great video! Great quality and you picked the perfect spot. Hope all is going well and you're settled in your new place. I'm a new subscriber. Wishing you much success for your dedication and hard work
Yo the vocals and the violin for New Horizons (3:00) didn’t have to go that hard! Too beautiful.
Thank you for filming this for us! It was like were with you in Epcot, I love these new videos in the parks! 😁
Brayden, this is the best video of this show I've seen! Great work!
Can anyone tell me what song is played at 7:21?
I don’t know what Camera you are using but WOW your video was the best I’ve seen of the opening night of this show!
I’m a retired Profession Sports’s Photographer, I’ve been retired from that, about 10 years. I can’t believe to leap that these cameras today have taken.
What Camera are you using? I was Shoot Nikon when I retired.
@@MagicoftheMouseRadio This was filmed on a Panasonic S1 which is a 35mm sensor providing that "night mode" low light effect as the sensor takes in so much light. Thanks for Watching! ~Brayden
Awsome picture and sound VERY well done.
My girlfriend after the end of the show, “I wonder who’s voice they used when they were talking about epcot.” Me,” oh that’s Walt” girlfriend instantly started bawling her eyes out
Wow . It looks so Beautiful . Love the music too. Thank you for sharing this. I hope to see it in a few weeks.
Brayden, thanks for the great video.
I do love the show and it will definitely fill the moment between the outgoing and incoming.
Amazing job, Brayden. I've never seen a fireworks show without the blackest of blacks on yt. Your video lets us enjoy the entire production, not just the fireworks. Thank you!! Great practice for HarmoniUS, amirite?
They really needed to extend the millennium celebration section of the show. Especially coming off of illuminations
Despite not costing nearly as much to produce, it is a far superior show to Harmonious, and it wouldn't trash the lagoon all day long. This or revised Illuminations please!
Hello Mickey Views, thanks to you we can watch this at home and feel closer the day THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH opens again. We would love to know the camera you used for this video, looks amazing!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH AGAIN.
