- Fantasmic! is back at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! As of Nov. 3, this epic nighttime spectacular - part show, part pyrotechnics, part special effects - has returned, with an all-new heroes segment featuring moments from “Frozen II,” “Moana,” “Aladdin” and more! Follow Mickey’s imagination as he dreams, facing off with the likes of Maleficent in her towering dragon form and other villains. I don't know what it is about the finale, but EVERY time Mickey shows up on top of the mountain i immediately start tearing up.
Honestly I’m a full grown 20 y old male and I have no business crying but damn it just takes me back to my childhood and the nostalgia is unmatched when I see sorcerer Mickey “teleport” from the mountain to the stage

As adults we all have our “things” at Disney that make us feel like kids again - fantasmic is one of mine. As a cast member at Hollywood I got to go to the first cast preview when it reopened in November, and the energy in the amphitheater that night wasn’t quite like anything I’ve ever experienced before. It’s such a cheesy cast member thing, but everyone was giddy with excitement and pure joy that night. Lots of tears and cheers!

The Disney world especially so much nostalgia.
The fact that the only thing replaced was John Smith and the diggers and that they replaced it with quite literally the best Disney mashup ever was honestly refreshing.
Also seeing that they kept everything else was a shock to me as I've seen so much change from Disney for a while now😊💗
This is hands down the most epic show at Disney World! The energy from the crowd, songs, and effects are mind-blowing. Definitely a lifetime experience!
I love how energetic the actors are. You can tell they’re having the times of their lives.
This is amazing!! The new stuff they added, the stuff they kept....the cheering crowds every time something happened...THE DRAGON!!! Now, I wish I was at Disney watching this in real life!!!

This version still has the spirit of the original (which I feel like the California version lost in its update) but it's received the refresh it desperately needed and deserved. Fantastic! Hope to see it live someday.
I cry everytime when sorcerer mickey pops out on top of the mountain. I love the new changes!!
You have no idea how much I adore this show as a kid growing up, and even now this remaster is still beautiful.. got me in tears over here

I saw it once live (it was the version at Hollywood Studios around... 2014, I think), and it was an experience I'll never forget.
I bawled my eyes out watching this on opening night. I used to come watch it at least once a week during my disney college program back in 2013. Disney but more specifically Fantasmic! will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart

At 13:39, was anyone else aware that Moana is Walking on water like Mickey was suppose to do back when the show was first planned for both Disneyland and Disney World.

The whole show is just too iconic and solidifies Hollywood studios as the best park. The part I like most is when Mickey is shooting fireworks out of his hands on the mountain.

Just went to see this last week with my kids in person off of a recommendation from someone. Had no idea what to expedition, I honestly thought it was just going to be some fireworks. Myself and my kids were blown away by the performance. It was amazing, Hands down recommend anyone go see this.

I was worried about the changes, but I loved every minute of it.
my dream of mulan being on the boat at the end has FINALLY come true. im crying. this fantasmic is the closest thing to seeing real magic.

As a longtime guest to Anaheim’s Disneyland (I live 50 minutes away from it), Fantasmic there lost its spark over the years. The Florida one succeeds where they couldn’t.
This is way better than when I last saw WDW’s Fantasmic. The last time I saw it, a majority of the show was water projections. I don’t know if there were issues with the stage when I saw it or what, but this is amazing.
Plus you get to sit down at disney world 🎉

Despite how they let Bret Iwan re-voicing Wayne's lines for Mickey just like 2.0 version being shown at Disneyland, i'm surprised that they are still using its original 1992 soundtrack for some magical nostalgic fun. 10/10.

They did a great job with that. I was seriously scared they were gonna cut the budget like they did with Finding Nemo the Musical but they infact upped the budget! Kept old scenes aswell as adding new ones I love it!

I love the original version and I love this version too. Fantasmic is I would say the best nighttime show ever
Lovely to hear the original voice of the princess part. The updated version for Disneyland, the woman singing it has a lovely voice, just not really fitting to the part. 😅 Also the girl playing Ariel is so perfect, her facial expressions are so innocent and just ahhh. Loved it!
Also love how both Fantasmics are unique and different from one another with the content! Gotta see Disneyworld's live someday ❤ And omg, is that the original dragon????
Sad that Ariel and Snow White have never done lifts on the east coast like at Disneyland.
And honestly, the “lovely voice” for the princess section is Disney Broadway legend Heather Headley, who originated both Nala in the Lion King and Aida in Aida. So I believe very fitting for the new and better Fantasmic
@@HighonBoots Oh, her voice is strong and outstanding. However, to me, it's just doesn't work for me with the princess scene. Certainly doesn't ruin the show or the actual scene, but the original singer just fit scene better in my opinion. But, as I stated, just an opinion/preference!
I'm SO glad I watched this prior to my trip I would have been on the floor sobbing during the whole thing
Man, props to the actor who has the guts to stand on top of that mountain with nothing but a small rope attached to them. Great camera work, I always feel like I miss some part of the show when I watch this type of stuff and I didn't feel like that with this.

Not going to lie, I was a little scared on what they were going to do with this show. It's a big thing for me nostalgia wise and I was afraid to watch a video of it before I see it for myself in August. BUT this was incredible. They kept so much and it makes me so happy. I'm not a fan of Frozen, but even that segment was great. I'm so happy with what they've done with the show and can't wait to see it live!

Among the heroes of the segment that replaced the scene with the English settlers and Pocahontas’ tribe, the one I think the crowd cheered loudly for the most is Moana and Elsa comes a close second.

I’m so happy that they did not take Snow White out! I also like that they stuck (mostly) to the original soundtrack. The Disneyland version changed the music and I’m not a huge fan 😢

They start the line at 6 pm (show starts at 8) so be sure to be in Hollywood Studios by at least 6:30 if you want a good seat. The cast member told us to get in the line by 7 if we wanted to get in. When we got there the line was all the way down the street.

If only they had the dragon that Disneyland has as well as make a better boat for the finale I think this would be my favorite version of fantasmic at the moment. So sad that Disneyland changed theirs, just got around to seeing the new version there even though it was changed almost 5 years ago, and was just a little dissapointed in the changes. I'm so happy that Disney World kept most of its original show.
So glad I was able to see this is person. My friend and cousin didn’t want to go, but I put my foot down and said we were going. Turned out to be the best part of the trip for them.
