- Okay, so I have a lot of thoughts on that finale, but I'll just save my breath here. I'm sure if you follow me on Tumblr, you'll know my opinions. Long story short, that episode made my heart sink. To think that the last few spoby scenes we were given weren't actually spoby??? It makes me sad. The acting was phenomenal (especially on Troian's part), don't get me wrong. However, spoby really got the short end of the stick in my opinion. I was hoping, at the very least, to get one final kiss from them, considering this was the last time that we would see these characters.
That being said, this video was very difficult to make. It hasn't really sunk in that we won't be getting any more spoby scenes or quotes. To most people, spoby is just a ship, but to me, they are so much more. In fact, one of the first ever videos that I made was a spoby video when I was about 16 years old (in case you want to see some terrible editing, here it is: • toby + spencer ♦ "i wi... ). I remember exactly when I made that video, I struggled badly to make friends and I really felt alone. I have grown so much from the time of season one until now. I grew up with these characters and oddly enough, they have brought me confidence and insane joy. I don't normally post personal things, but spoby has gotten me through some of my darkest days and I will forever be grateful to the show for that, even though spoby deserved a better, more proper ending. In my mind, they are happily married, living far away from that hell hole called Rosewood, and can finally find some peace within each other. They deserve that.
Even though they will probably never see this (a girl can dream), I want to say an immense thank you to Keegan and Troian for bringing these two, scrabble loving soulmates, to life. They have made me so happy for the past seven years. I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported my videos over the years. You don't know how much just one comment puts a smile on my face. Even though the show is over, I will continue to make spoby videos because I truly believe that at some time, in some form, we will see these two characters again.
I hope this video takes you down spoby memory lane and helps you remember that even though we didn't quite get the ending that we hoped for, spoby is endgame and will remain one of the most epic ships of all time. This one's for you spoby family. Thank you for always being my safe place to land. :)

I think this love story is definitely one of the most realistic love stories it’s soo passionate. Spencer and Toby both did so much for each other it was so pure. I miss this ship 🥺

Spencer and Toby was the couple we never knew we needed. When they kissed for the first time I was like "Nooooo, don't you dare become a couple", but I eventually shipped them so much
omg no. you just made me realize that we will never see spoby again. we didn't even get a kiss. we haven't had a kiss since 6x10. i'm so disappointed that they completely focused more on the twincer storyline than spoby. i love this so so much

Finally someone who agrees ! I didn't mind Twincer, but I hated that Spoby was the only couple who didn't get back together on screen ! Like just a kiss after he guesses which one is Spencer and which one is Alex would have been great

Sarah this is so absolutely stunning. I didn't watch the full episode because last night I saw that there were so many youtube clips up, but I was bummed too at how they ended these two. It really did feel like they deserved better! I know it's implied that they can get a happy ending, but it is so annoying to think some of those special scenes were actually twincer. lol I've probably told you that I never watched this show consistently (so I'm not 100% familiar with every plot), my sister has kept me updated all these years and whenever I did watch I found myself most compelled to these two, so I was really watching the finale to see what would happen with them. I guess we can just interpret those scenes as real Spoby scenes, especially because it confirms that they were still in love with each other. I will say from the finale, I did love the way that Toby looks at Spencer when he realizes it's her (at the end of your vid). Anyhow, beautiful video and I hope you make another tribute!

I wish we would have gotten more during the finale, but I liked the scenes that we did get. Honestly, I'm always going to interpret the 'false' spoby scenes as real, because there really weren't many other scenes for us during the time jump and there were plot holes everywhere so who really knows what's real and what's fake anymore lol. The only scenes that weren't Spoby are the 2 sex scenes and the kiss in 7x10, so all the rest is them. At least there's that. Thanks for this beautiful vid ♥

THIS is amazing; this makes up for all the crap that us spoby shippers were dealt in the last episode. I was so mad we didn't get one last scene between the two. But watching this and looking back on their beautiful relationship and journey they have had together has made me remember just why i love these two so much and helped me to move past the shit we had in the finale.

People seems confused but I am 100% sure that was Spencer in the last sex scene. She just go home, took a shower and when she heard noise she call for Toby because it was the last person she's been with. Plus this love scene was not in the pretending scenes of Alex!
