I've always had the feeling that he was with her because she reminded him of Spencer. I'm sad that we didn't actually get to know if Toby and Spencer were together but I'm just gonna say they lived a long and happy life together

I feel like it wasn’t really suited, at least in the sense where it says that Toby was happier with Yvonne. Because, at least in my opinion, I think it’s pretty clear that he got with Yvonne to move on from Spencer (maybe cuz she was with Caleb, I don’t remember if he started dating Yvonne when Spencer was with Caleb), and then he fell for Yvonne. But I don’t think he was happier with her, I mean who’s to say. But if anything, I’d say he was also happy with her, and he also loved her and couldn’t imagine life without her. But ultimately I’m happy that him and Spencer ended up together
But when you look up for toby cavanaugh or spencer hastings on internet, there is a page for every character of the show and in toby's and spencer's page you can see that they are engaged with one another
