It's kind of tough to explain what the Mavericks are about but you definitely nailed it. I'm a comeback fan during the pandemic and seen them 3 times within the last year with the last one at the Count Basie theater in Red Bank NJ. Thank you for posting this, like and shared 😊
They are a total musical explosion on stage!
Exactly Doreen! Second to none live!!! 😊🙏☘️❤️😎👍
You are so lucky to get to see them at such a small venue! I discovered these guys about 6 months ago, and I wondered where have the been all my life!!! Probably the best band I´ve ever known. Their positive and diverse music and unbelievably good energy just keeps you coming back. Every song they play is awesome.
@@Blondipidy exactly!! You said it so well! I hope you’re enjoying Moon and Stars, I love it! 🌕 🌟 💥🙏😎☘️❤️🍻👍😊
We see them every year when they come to Ft. Lauderdale. Amazing Live Band with energy that blows you up out of your seat. Thanks for sharing!
Rock on Golfmanbil!!! You said it!! ❤️🙏💥🍻☘️😎⚾️👍🎆😊
I only discovered them about a year ago: it is really a toe-tapping sort of music which immediately creates a good mood. My personal favourites are Paul Deakin on drums: he never misses a beat and he must be finished off after such a concert. And Percy Cardona, that accordeon player wearing mariachi trousers and sporting a big smile on his face.
I heard the other day that Raul Malo has to undergo cancer therapy, so I hope all goes well.
@@adrianwalker2833 Yes, Percy is a fantastic entertainer and musician! I hope he is with them forever! Paul is back, glad to see he is better. But Raul’s son Dino did a great job filling in. Raul sounds like he is staying on top of his health issues, hopefully all will be fine. ❤️🎇🎆😎😊💥☘️🍻👍🙏
Big fan of the band, going all the way back to their early days. We’ll catch a show together one of these days!
BTW. I love the autographed poster!
Sure!! 👍
Thanks , couldn’t pass it up! Looks damn cool! 😎
Lovin them since the 90’s…Nice review Matthew
Fabulous Gary! Just like me, early 90s I discovered them! Cheers 🍻 🙏😎☘️👍❤️😊
Love the Mavericks! Would like to see them someday. Raul is a great singer. Thank you
Raul is top notch!!! Roy Orbison, Glen Campbell, John Denver, and Pavoratti all rolled into one! 😊❤️🙏😎👍🍻
Yes, so effortless too. Are you going to the 4th?
@@DolphinGuitar28 no, going to watch it in local Boston television. 📺 ❤️😊😎🙏👍🍻 💥 🎇 🎆
Sounds like a great idea. Thank you for your coverage on this channel!
@@DolphinGuitar28 you’re welcome! I appreciate you being here! ☘️☘️☘️❤️❤️❤️😎🙏💥🎇🎆
On your recommendation I’ll be familiarizing myself with the band Mathew. They sure sound fab live brother!❤🎉
Michael you have a fab taste in music. Something tells me there’s something here for you. I think you’d enjoy them. 😎👍☘️❤️😊🙏
I was able to see the Boston 4th of July celebration on TV, and The Mavericks were great. I wasn't too happy that their performance of Twist and Shout was cut for commercials, though.
Yeah the live stream cut to commercials during Twist and Shout! Can you believe it?! Nuts! They were the highlight for me! What was up with Darlene Love’s wardrobe??!!?? Bad!!! 🍻 😎💥🎇🧨🇺🇸🎆
@@matthewstreet1961 ha-ha ! I didn't think she looked so bad. I liked listening to her as well.
Wow - they ain't country - such a great mix of genres for sure!!! Love it, Matt!!! I don't know how to tune into their July 4th show here in the capital region of New York. Hmm.
Hi Rick, thanks! I thought the Boston 4th is aired on TV all over. But I could be off on this. I’m pretty sure it’s easily accessible. ☘️😊🙏👍❤️😎
Here in Syracuse this week !!
Hope you’re going Jerry! If so, enjoy and dance!!!🕺🏻 🙏☘️👍😊❤️😎
My thought was in the late 80's, people of a certain age brought a pronounced Beatles/Byrds influence into country music: The Byrds own Chris Hillman's Desert Rose Band, Foster and Lloyd, and these guys ... It was the differences that made them each unique....Hillman's was to take his own Byrds pedigree and combine it with his earliest musical influence: Bluegrass....Rodney Foster's was to take his Guy Clark stylings and to meet Bill Lloyd in Bill's powerpop land...The Mavoricks was to take Beatles and Byrds to East LA, meet Los Lobos & let's all dance ....I wish I would have been there..Peace and Love, Terry Tutor
Great analysis Terry! You have fab insights on this! 😊🙏☘️👍❤️😎
