Alan Wake II is a survival horror game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Epic Games Publishing. A sequel to Alan Wake, the story follows best-selling thriller novelist Alan Wake, who has been trapped in an alternate dimension for 13 years, as he attempts to escape by writing a horror story involving an FBI agent named Saga Anderson. The game is available for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on October 27, 2023.

Hey Brad dunno if anyone's said it yet but you missed a good bit of puzzle stuff back in the witches ladle area by streamside. Idk if you can get back there or not but if you can it's worth exploring. Lots of extra stuff to find

I love how the dark presence is chasing Alan and he just breaks out into a brisk jog 😂
those gold arrows you see lead to spirals that you can shine your light on to get words of light to upgrade your stuff, noticed you've missed a lot of them so far thinking they just point you in the right direction :)
It's so painful to see him walk right by or miss them lol

I just finished the game. 10/10 masterpiece and my GOTY. Any one of Alan Wake 2, Re 4 remake, Baldur's Gate 3 or Tears of the Kingdom will win this year.

@KoraJayde-TeeJay My tip for hard (I beat it on hard to begin with): conserve ammo and batteries. Especially as Alan, just avoid shadow fights as much as you can by running to and from safe havens. As Saga...well...good luck lmao.
That's funny cuz some people listed Spidey 2 as possible GOTY....now some are saying this Alan Wake 2 is a candidate. The games look great, but looks aren't everything. God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West actually surpassed their previous ones, and looked great also. I've played all of them except for Spidey 2 and Alan Wake 2. I'm going to skip them both, yo
@@mcentepede I'll say this now. Spidey 2 is not a bad game. It's a great game. But on the whole it's just a Ubisoft game with a really good story and set pieces.
All the 4 games I've mentioned above literally reinvented the gaming industry in their own ways. Whereas Spidey 2 is a top tier fan service and safe sequel. Spidey 2 isn't even remotely bad but these 4 are just far better games.

Friendly tip to conserve flashlight battery. Not all taken need a boost, some you can just point your flashlight at until they smear away. At least the ones in the tunnel, I'm still playing through some later chapters.

You're missing the words Brad you missed 3 of em on the first location And one on the subway, And also you missed an npc. That yellow arrow leads you to one. Words are useful gives u additional stats.
tip for conserving battery, so far i notice that only shadow that look like holding weapon is an enemy. other than that, just hold the light and theyll dissappear on their own

Wow another cool video Brad the only thing I would say is that you missed a lot of things like the spirals that are hidden around you got a couple of them if you got all of them they give you different words that you could have used to increase your abilities but never mind can’t wait for the next video x

Thanks for posting this gameplay series, it’s fascinating to watch, also I enjoy your reviews. I do have a bit of a critique though, I feel like you play it a bit carelessly sometimes, running past enemies and then getting punished for it, not being thorough when looking for call
To actions, it’s a bit frustrating.

Loving the series man. Your commentary is great as well. Only talking when things quiet down. Lot of other people talk too much or during important moments etc. lol. Oh an not to criticize your gaming by any means but I think you kissed some look because you didn’t look down towards the ground. I saw the “x” icon for a split second a few times near the floor
The lining up of dark spheres with the balls of light is cool. It would be even cooler if that's how the enemys worked.
