Hi my friend, I started using my quest 3 for pc vr gaming, I tried using a link cable but sometimes the games run with latency etc, not very smooth, mostly with flight Sims, I have rtx 3060 and GPU ryzen 7 3400
If you're playing Microsoft Flight Simulator, then I know that game is extremely taxing on CPU and GPU. Your hardware is on the lower side of the spectrum for what you'd want to have for a flight sim to run smoothly. Your GPU and CPU are probably struggling, so turning down graphic settings, lowering resolution, or lowering the bitrate for the Quest 3 should help. Although you will lose image quality, it's a sacrifice you may have to make to play some games.
@@ZacharyTech7hi Zachery, recently I cannot play msfs 20 in vr, as soon as I switch it goes back to the steam screen, I have now rtx 4070 and ryzen 9 5900 so no bottleneck, any other ideas, regards
I wish I could play HL Alyx untethered, every time I do i get bad frame drops, gets fuzzy, and everything seems to break. Even just sitting into steam link or whatever it's called, it's just a bad connection overall. Looking at getting a cable here soon

Hi it was working before but I did overclock a little with nvidea app

If there is a lot of wifi interference, the signal is weak, or your router is slower, you will have a rough time. The cable should bring stability.
What was YOUR OLD PCVR Headset ?
I used THE VALVE INDEX 😅 Now I have a Bigscreen Beyond that I use for PCVR though.
