India's ruling BJP has unveiled its election manifesto called "Modi's guarantee" days ahead of voting in the country. The 70-page document focuses on digital infrastructure, jobs and social welfare. Experts at America's Citibank expressed disappointment at the lack of big-bang reforms in the document. Some of the main promises in the manifesto include free ration for the poor, free healthcare for senior citizens and implementation of the new citizenship law and a uniform civil code. To me, the UCC and the CAA are the two most critical policy decisions, that the BJP has expressed its intent on implementing, in its manifesto.
If the BJP sustains in power, which is very likely, and Modi gets his third term as the PM, then it could provide a major fillip to the stock markets. It would imply a continuity in policies and reforms and eventually enable stability and growth in the country, which would be conducive for the stock markets. The BJP manifesto is impressive. I wish they had more regarding the environment though.
They are already pushing for ev's even though it is not mentioned in the current manifesto. We should also look at the things they are already doing. The government's Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024 on a Rs 500 crore budget is really impressive according to me. The scheme aims to boost green mobility and EV manufacturing.

Reading from above, Cong manifesto is attracting irrational people. So u all rw yt should try to connect with BJP centre to give an idea- that what is there in BJP manifesto(Environment, Sustainability etc things) and its importance but not in Congress. And preaching the critical examination of cong manifesto and channelising it's flaws deeply. And how BJP manifesto is broader and better. And exposing false promises of cong through their 60.yr record and raising questions through it. That's only might help bjp now. Along with campaign on the public welfare schemes of modiji and how it helped people so that cong cannot fool ppl like now.
Key things missing in manifesto :
1. River conservation and ground water recharging for better tomorrow.
2.Conservation of forest.
2. Employment growth.
3. Civil Union for the minority oppressed.
No minority is oppressed, India doesn't need separate facilities for minorities. Rest agreed
First 3 are good suggestions.

Civil union is term used as a union of two individuals legally. Also it's's not equivalent to marrige. Given they do not have right to buy property ,open joint bank account , insurance.
