1. ABSOLUTELY FANTACULAR. How was it no 1 for only 1 week?
2. Love the bass line. It really drives to the end.
3. Love the octave that they're working in for this one it's just right.
Love You Inside Out
Bee Gees
Baby, I can't figure it out
Your kisses taste like honey
Sweet lies don't gimme no rise
Oh, oh what you're trying to do?
Livin' on your cheatin'
And the pain grows inside me
It's enough to leave me crying in the rain
Love you forever but you're
Driving me insane
And I'm hanging on
Oh, oh, I'll win, I'll never give in
Our love has got the power
Too many lovers in one lifetime
Ain't good for you
You treat me like a vision in the night
Someone there to stand behind you
When your world ain't working right
I ain't no vision, I am the man
Who loves you inside out
Backwards and forwards with
My heart hanging out
I love no other way
What am I gonna do if we lose that fire?
Wrap myself up and take me home again
Too many heartaches in one
Lifetime ain't good for me
I figure it's the love that keeps you warm
Let this moment be forever
We won't ever feel the storm
I ain't no vision, I am the man
Who loves you inside out
Backwards and forwards with
My heart hanging out
I love no other way
What am I gonna do if we lose that fire?
Don't try to tell me it's all over
I can't hear a word I can't hear a line
No man could love you more
And that's what I'm cryin' for
You can't change the way I feel inside
You're the reason for my laughter and my sorrow
Blow out the candle I will burn again tomorrow
No man on earth can stand
Between my love and I
And no matter how you hurt me
I will love you till I die
I ain't no vision, I am the man
Who loves you inside out
Backwards and forwards with
My heart hanging out
I love no other way
What am I gonna do if we lose that fire?
Loves you inside out
Backwards and forwards with
My heart hanging out
I love no other way
What am I gonna do if we lose that fire?
Loves you inside out
Backwards and forwards with

Only No. 1 for 1 week because other Bee Gees songs were released at the same time, taking over no 1. amazing song.
Luv your reactions lololololol...for our fab BGsxxxxx
The other song with very good bass is A little more love by Olivia Newton John. Its bass explosion in this song. oh yes, Magic by ONJ too. 😆
Barry's unique silky falsetto voice was so so awesome. Listening to the song makes you feel great.Bee Gee songs were so so great.❤❤
Jaybriel, you are enjoying this song for sure
I really enjoy hearing there stuff. Sometimes there's stuff I don't like but we can't like em all. overall though I keep finding new interesting stuff.
Listen to Bee Gees for a long time I'm 64 years old and they are the best
It just works beautifully.
Yes, it really does.
You hef to lissen to the best love song of the BeeGees houw deep is your love 😊😊
You are right! Great song & love it! The lyrics make it Sooo interesting.❤❤🎉❤❤
Love your reaction. Expressive and positive. It is a great funk disco song. Super how you put the lyrics in the text and give a background history. More, please!
This one often goes under the radar of well known BG hits but it's full of class with its declaration of love theme.
Barry Gibb is one of the best songwriters of all time . FULL STOP
The fact they wrote all these hits over 50 years is incredible....
agreed, how do you keep making goood songs?
@@jaybrielakoi7747 it's a gift your born with, like an artist, painter, etc.
@@jaybrielakoi7747 otherwise we'd all be doing it and making Bee Gees money
I was 12 years old when the song came out.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Reference your question, why only 1 week at #1? 1979 - 1983 were great years for disco funk. They were also used in movies, i.e., “Saturday Night Fever”. Everyone was jumping on the disco funk back then. Night clubs were hot spots, everyone was dancing. It was great times. Enjoying your reactions. 👍😉
Spirits having flown is their BEST selling álbum with 30 million copies sold all over the world and one of the most selling albums all the times
Yeah I’m seeing why.
@@jaybrielakoi7747 You and me both brother!! Just discovered this album a few months ago- LOVING IT.
THANK YOU, LOVE THE SONG.
Listen to those violins. Who does that in 2021? Noone!!!!!!!!!
Genius level tune:) Nice reaction
If you love their lyrics, here's something amazing about the way they wrote. The melody came 1st ( or they often came up with a title or phrase). And they NEVER changed the melody , once finished, to fit the words . They made the words fit the melody.
Bee Gees 'music can bring smile and happiness on every face🤩🤩🤩🤩That' s really magic. Love them and Miss them so so much💖💖💖💖💖💖
I hadn't ever heard this until few weeks ago... It's so so good.. Damn it's catchy
I went to the Spirits concert in Pittsburgh and it was awesome! I still have my album too 💜
In the early 90’s I had 2 12’s in my car. We would bump this and watch the older people look with eyes of disgust then hear it was the Beegees and they would start dancing. Happened a lot. Was a fun troll
Spirits having flown... Blow out the candle I will burn again tomorrow.
I said this somewhere else but this song specifically makes me want to cry and dance simultaneously, it hits me in the gut yet my feet are moving
Their famous fab harmonies...magic..no one like them....
My favorite Bee Gees song! Good choice!
Interesting.
Can you imagine being Barry Gibb back in the 70's.......
HBO Documentary "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" will answer ALL of your questions concerning the "black balling" of their music.
Hi Mr. Jaybriel….. Yeap, this was great from the legendary “The Bee Gees”, the three remaining songs that I lOvEd if you’ll have the
chance to react too, likewise, are titled; Fanny be Tender with my Love, Love so Right and More than a Woman, respectively. Thanks a lot too Mr. Jaybriel if ever that
you’ll play all these songs and do reactions too?
BEE GEES 🇬🇧
Oh ya
How could you not love this???💓💓💓
This song is under rated..they played this at a Chicago stepping set..the floor filled up 😬🥶
Love this gem brought the album. This song is very dramatic. A powerful declaration of unrequited love.♥️
By the time "Love You Inside Out" came out in 1979, the Bee Gees had saturated the US airwaves with so many of their songs, plus all the hits they wrote for others between 1977 and 1979 with the Bee Gees sound, so America (or certain DJs) decided that they had had enough of the Bee Gees' falsetto sound and they became ridiculed for many years for using it and for having so much success with it. It took a very long time for negative attitude to die down.
Jealousy of other artists that the BeeGee's were getting played so much even though it was because they were so awesome!!!!!!
That one point, at 1:15, always gets me. Such a smooth groove right there.
The Bee Gees have a very special piece of my heart. I grew up to them in the 70s and loved everything that they did all the way back to their 60s songs. Great reaction video. Funk disco is a great description of what we're listening to.
thanks for the clarification on genre.
bee gees are good at writing music for sure. They are awesome at making the song groove.
1:15 Jay's still talking. Sooooooo, what's the deal?
They were blackballed because of the disco backlash. Undeserved treatment!
Love the bass on this one. Love this song period
Very very nice tune. Beautiful melody and groovy.
GREAT GROOVE
Awesome song...... fanny be tender is another
I've seen Fanny. That one is super good. it should be a hit.
ruclips.net/video/doSU3scySrI/видео.html
This song is wonderfull
Agreed
I don't think there are any group brothers like the bee gees. They are the best song writers, I think some people are very gifted to be song writers first and singers second there is no one like them.
Their songs grab you and pull you in!
This song gives me chills & puts me to tears all at the same time.
The base in jive talking is super terrific. Mo just kills it on bass. Soooooo super!!! His early death broke my heart 💔💔💔🌹
Oh cool. I never knew about the prank.
I was just thinking about how I haven't seen anyone else react to this one. 👍
"Blow out the candle, I will burn again tomorrow" such a great lyric
I know... It's my favorite lyric too
One of my favorites! Great reaction, thanks!
Well!, In that week this BeeGee' song competed against "Hot Stuff" by Donna Summer;
the top 7 that week was like this!
1 .- Love You Inside Out - Bee Gees
2.- Hot Stuff - Donna Summer
3.- We Are Family - Sister Sledge
4.- Reunited - Peaches & Herb
5.- Just When I Needed You Most - Randy VanWarmer
6.- Ring my Bell - Anita Ward
7.- The Logical Song - Supertramp
the fight for number 1 was very, very difficult.
Ohhh shoot. “Hot Stuff” just listened a bit and I have heard parts of that one. That song is lit. I guess it really did have hot competition.
I'd rather listen to this song than their most popular songs like Stayin Alive and stuff. Because I already listened to the popular ones too much. I mean, it's all good, but this sounds a little freshier.
Also this one has a smooth falsetto. Very cool. Thanks!
It a phenomenal song...in the key of D. As a bassist....its a great song.
This whole album is fantastic.
Really enjoy watching you watch and listen to The Brothers. Have loved them for so many years, and listen to their songs every night. No matter what songs I hear I Still Just melt💔💔❤️🌹🌹🌹
Thank you for all your reactions to The Bee Gees. Love that you research the songs’ histories.
Great reaction!!! Love this song!!!
Please react to "Paying the price of love" is an amazing song too by Bee Gees ! Thanks for the reaction!
Love you inside and out😘 good song...
Pls try to react bee gees singing Beatles
A day in the life by Barry Gibb and
Oh Darling by Robin Gibb, they won't let you down!
bee gees living together robin sing falsetto
Jaybriel, I enjoyed your review of this incredible Bee Gee's tune. if you like bass grooves, you really must checkout a song called "Glide" by the band Pleasure. Dates back to the late 70's or early 80's.
Really recommend watching their documentary How to Mend a Broken Heart that came out in 2020. They really go into detail what went on during this tour & basically how the “disco era” was blackballed in ‘79.
One of my favorites. The lyrics, the voices, the music. Holy crap u picked a good one. 😜
Let's hear your reaction to Barry Gibb's - Shine Shine.
Living togheder is very good song too!!!!
Yes, my excellent friend … there are many more. Try “Lowdown” by BOZ SCAGGS. Then just go right into STEELY DAN… just saying. Have an great day 🤘🏼😎
I'll check it out.
And YOU have a great day too.
Read the BGs autobiography..it's amazing .
great reaction! please react to More Than A Woman, Love Me, You Stepped Into My Life..
I'm not so sure that they were black balled but rather typecast or stereotyped as disco, either way, what they did during those low periods throughout their singing careers is that they wrote songs for other artists to sing....while reinventing themselves with the times...hence their longevity over the decades. Even when Robin left the group for awhile, it was time well spent in personal growth for all of them. Everything has a time and a purpose. .
Thanks for reacting to this one."Love so right" one of their absolute best.
"Reaching out" shows Barrys falcetto in a really fantastic way.
Maurice lead "Closer than close".
loved that one.
Pls.....Love so right and My World by Bee Gees ... Pls can't wait for your reactions to these songs.... Plsssss. From The Philippines
Great reaction! Thanks for react to the Bee Gees songs ! I recomended to you : "with my eyes closed" from "Still Waters" album.
there were certain years back in the 70s and 80s where there were sooooo many great songs flying up the charts and if they had sustainability they might hang on for more than one week. 79 was an explosive year for disco/dance music so many songs hit #1 for a shorter time. there were exceptions when olivia newton john's physical was in the top stop for like 8 weeks and debby boone's ballad you light up my life (10 weeks) but those are rare examples.
Please react to “alone”. One of my very favorites
You have amazing reactions. Try the beegees run to me. I'm curious to see what think. Thanks alot
LOVE the way you analyze a song! WAYYYYYYYYYY better than anyone of the hundreds of others doing it!! We hit that subscribe button and rang the bell!!! Great work!! Looking forward to more from you! Stay safe out there! :)
TY I aprreciate
Look. Exist one song , not famous due to boicott they suffered in early eighties (i can tell you about that), but its a himm incredibly beautifull. Its called "living eyes".
FYI The one week at #1 interrupted Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff" (June 1979)
How about a reaction video to Bee Gees Secret
Love from Size Isn't Everything?
I made a mistake. The song Secret Love was from the High Civilization
CD. Sorry!
Donna Summer's Hot Stuff was also competing for the #1 spot on the charts at that time, as well as a couple of other funk songs, but Ricki Lee Jones' Chuckie's In Love and an AC ballad called Just When I Needed You Most (which is also a great song) were moving in, and the disco craze was beginning to wane by that time. But, there was a period in March-April 1978 where Barry had 5 songs in the top ten (Stayin' Alive, Night Fever and If I Can't Have You (recorded by Yvonne Elleman) from Fever soundtrack, Emotion by Samantha Sang, and Love is Thicker Than Water by little brother Andy Gibb. When a song written by Barry Gibb fell out of the #1 spot, it was replaced by another song written by him, and then another, etc. This happened five times, and to date, has never been achieved by another songwriter. ALSO - was kind of surprised you didn't mention the strings toggling between the right and left ears at the beginning. I think it's one of the coolest things about this very cool song.
Great song. 🎶❤️
Great reaction. 🙂
It was a very famous song, but some how was lost bc,they had so many hits.
really because nobody ever talked about this one.
Forgot about this gem, great sound quality too btw.
So many you just forget them.
Very good!! React Immortaly Bee Gees..
Enjoyed your reaction. And what a Bass line throughout that song. Wow. Just one correction, they weren't Brits, but Aussies.
Nope. Born on the Isle of Man. They spent several years in AU and moved back to England.
Yes they probably knocked themselves off number one with another track. During this period almost everything the done turned to gold, so when people wanted disco out, and it was a large movement. the top groups of the time the bee gees took all the brunt, they had death threats.
They did another parody; “don’t every piss off your wife”--to “you don’t know what it’s like…”from (to love somebody) if I can find the video again I’ll post it for you.
Another great reaction. I love how you listen to the song intently in it’s entirety, and then you analyze.
Would you please react to The Bee Gees “To Love Somebody” ( which was meant for Otis Redding), and Melody Fair?

This is my favorite Bee Gees song, does anyone have a link to a live video of this?
Love your reaction to this one! You really seemed to enjoy this song. One of my favourite Bee Gees songs. Another great disco/funk song I can think of from 1979 is Heart of Glass by Blondie. Now that’s a band worth exploring!
Great Rraction as always!
Now it's time to listen Tragedy, what do you think?
jay if you got the chance to go back to the BEE GEES early albums in the mid 60's there is this album called IDEA back in 1968 in that album there are two tracks that become one of the BEE GEES biggest hits in the 60's its called I STARTED A JOKE and IVE GOT TO GET A MESSAGE TO YOU, I STARTED A JOKE even hit number 28 in JAPAN
what a grate song, thank you.
Exelente melody!!!
Brother, I wish you would check out dimash, 2017 the singer show, You will be very happy, SOS, 7 octave range
"Living Together" from "Spirits Having Flown" would be my suggestion

@@jaybrielakoi7747 I agree with you.Especially the very melodic vibrato bridge with Robin in lead
Jay please play their song Subway.

The whole anti-disco thing that started in the late 70s and dragged into the early 80s. Mostly a mid America thing. The Bee Gees were in the top spot of “disco hate”...Check out the Comiskey Park disco demolition, July 12, 1979. It seems ridiculous now that people would be so upset about music… If you know the history of disco music the anti-disco thing came off as racist, sexist, homophobic… disco emerged out of the subculture in black and gay clubs in the early 1970s… It was the music that brought everyone together for the first time…although disco had “taken over“ in 1978 and 79.… And was a bit too much after corporate America grabbed it, mass produced it, and ruined it…. Disco had the last laugh. One, it’s presence is associated with an entire decade (7os) and more (80s) and it lives today in house music.
But disco isn’t stand alone as a genre right? Like I feel as if most genres live on but I have zero disco influence
Jaybriel Akoi ...
IDK, Maroon 5, Daft Punk, Robin Thicke, Bruno Mars… Each have lots of disco influence.
I hung out with a lot of DJs on Miami Beach in the 1990s… Some of them were old enough to have been at infamous discotheque‘s in the 1970s. According to most DJs I discussed this with, disco came out of the Motown/hippie era. Musically, disco was the continuation of the Motown sound, gone symphonic. Take a listen to all of those early 1970s symphonic, flowing, beautifully orchestrated soulful dance records out of the Philadelphia soul sound (TSOP), “win, place or show“ by the intruders, 1972 is a perfect example....Aesthetically, the disco crowd borrowed from the hippies with the trippy lights and atmosphere. Disco is a combination of several different musical genres. Sometimes leaning towards one genre other times leading towards another genre. I think disco became it’s own genre eventually.… Hip-hop was born out of disco by taking the disco breaks and repeating them over and over… Example is Rappers Delight, 1979, officially the first popular hip-hop song but sampled completely from Chic’s Good Times a disco classic.… Donna summers, “ I feel love”, 1977 was the birth of house music right out of discos birth canal… LOL... I think of disco as a glass ball… Somewhere in the late 1970s it was dropped and shattered into several similar but different musical dance genres.
All of that 80s and 90s dance music… Freestyle, high energy, dance Pop, techno and of course house music is all discos continuation.... and now house music that completely indulges in 70s disco is called Nu Disco, formally known as disco-house .... if you want to hear a continuation of disco in its purest form listen to Jamiroquai.... latest album in 2018 was classic disco in its 21st century form
Jaybriel Akoi ... 2020 summer… New song, has 1975 disco all over it….

Great observations, though disco wasn’t “dropped” - it was violently thrown on the floor by straight white men who couldn’t dance. 😆 Steve Dahl and Mike Veeck, primarily.
