If you played Metal Gear Rising you'd see that Raiden can find the weak point of a weakened enemy in Blade mode. After that last clash, even though he could heal, it just happened too fast and Raiden found the weakness, his joints. Wolverines joints can't be perfectly melded together or he would not be able to move, leaving out a clear area to cut.
+Xantheus07 That's funny because raiden's blade would've cut straight through the adamatium in the first seconds of the fight. Adamantium is stable on a molecular level Vs Molecule Severing blade. Raiden is not powerful enough to get the full potential of Muramasa he needs to switch personality to be Jack the Ripper mode but by doing so he needs to experience massive pain and stop his regenaration system for it to activate so he waited for Wolverine to be Mad or use Berzerker mode
Actually the only reason why he couldn't cut through Wolverines bones is because he didn't strike hard at the beginning it was only until he went in jack the ripper mode is when he had enough force to cut through it because the harder he swings the more he can cut through and his sword made it work out
Then you my friend don't know how vibranium works then or anything that has a high frequency that disrupts molecular bonds so to make it simple the harder you swing a high frequency blade the more likely you'll cut through the metal with it
571danu Not to mention that Raiden can slow down his perception of time. Like when he goes into blade mode and everything slows down so he can cut with extreme precision. Or when he sprints and gets shot at, he can deflect every bullet like a Jedi would do with their mind. Just wait for wolverine to attack then he'd just go into blade mode and cut his head off

The main reason why Raiden wasn't able to cut through the Adamantium for the better part of the fight was indeed force. Yes, the high frequency blade does rely more on kinetic energy to do more damage, but it always does help to hit harder- something that Raiden 100% does when he enters the Ripper state. While Wolverine may be able to regenerate from almost anything, destroy the source of the regeneration and you have the clear winner. Raiden is a character who was never intended to lose.
I disagree with that Wolverine can only be killed by one method. Decapitating him and keeping his head away from his body. (marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Xavier_Protocols) So theoretically Wolverine would just heal and get back up. But why Wolverine can kill Raiden. Wolverine can punch through rock. That takes 295 Psi. Which is equal to 207.4 tons. Raiden's armour can take up to 20 tons. It would smash through Raiden's armour and continue to blast through Raiden. Plus Raiden couldn't hurt Wolverine. Wolverine took a nuclear blast and got back up in a few minutes. To put that in perspective Wolverine took 100 MEGATON of force easily. Yeah, Raiden would be dead. Also to stop the argument Raiden can remove the source of regeneration Wolverine's brain has been removed and he regenerated. On top of that, he can magically make more adamantium. Wolverine doesn't need living tissue to recover either. The winner should be Wolverine.
The High Frequency blade is like a Chainsaw. Say when you're cutting possibly the hardest Oak on earth, the Chainsaw doesn't cut the tree down in an single stroke. Essentially it's the built up instability from the Chainsaw reciporical bladed surface which eventually causes the tree's structure to collapse and break on itself. The difference between getting the job soon or later would be the amount of force applied to it. Primary Adamantium just like Secondary Adamantium regardless of molecular purity and density, is a molecular alloy comprised of various metals and does not exist on the atomic level in the Marvel Universe. Misty Knight's Antartic Vibranium bionic arm can liquify Secondary Adamantium by being in hair's length of it. While in comparison to Raiden, Raiden is simply in a class all of his own in terms of strength, and speed.
This is an example to never go fanboy mode or character favoritism. The 2 guys defense did listen that Adamantium can be melted into a molecular level and hearing that the High Frequency blade can do such feat as that. They picked Raiden for that.
One should also keep in mind that while Wolverine's bones are adamantium infused the cartilage holding them together are not. It's actually quite possible to tear Logan apart.
20:20 I think they defined it in the end to give a reason to why Wolverine lost. They give info in the beginning, and give answers in the end. I think that's how it works. Which makes sense.
The concept of the HF Blade is that it Weakens molecular bonds. To me that means the first blow brought the Adamantiums stability down to 90%, then 80%, 70%, etc. Also Adamantium coats Woverines Bones; including the Vertebra, but not the Intervertebral disks. If Adamantium did protect the disks between vertebrae his spine would be fused and he couldn't move. Ultimately, HF-Blade, landing between the vertebrae means a very bad day for Wolverine.
Also, Raiden's body is not actually an exoskeleton like Gray Fox's was. Basically everything except for his spine and his head from the upper jaw up was replaced with cyborg parts. He actually never got rid of his Cyborg body at the end of MGS4, but rather had it modified to be more slimmed down and with synthetic skin over top so that it would more easily pass as human.
Remember that the battles are purely entertainment value and have nothing to do with how they decide a winner, since a lot of fights would be over too quickly and make people whose chosen fighter losses feel ripped off, even though many would be killed in seconds. The game was wolverine origins. Vastly superior to the movie but still follows that story line too much.
Sh1tDisturber yeah it gets really annoying to remind people that these vids are to entertain, but since screw attack is being hit with different options of how to do their vids without pissing off fanboys and their fav character they chosen to win in this death battle although they didn't do too many of their vids that bad.
PLEASE play through Metal Gear Rising! As a long time MGS fan, who was also initially worried about Rising when I saw the first platinum games trailer, I fell in love with it once it came out. Despite raiden being the the worst written he has been in the series imo, and the change in gameplay (which I loved) I was very surprised at how "Metal Gear" the game felt.
Oh, I know. I've been watching the streams. I'd much rather you finish MGS5 for sure. MGS5 is obviously priority #1. I just meant eventually when you get a chance to check it out. I also commented about three minutes before you said you would in the video. So, I jumped the gun a bit.
+Bobby Henderson For some odd reason, Raiden became REALLY enjoyable in MGR because if you took out all of the melodrama from Raiden, he's actually a good character.
I agree with you actually. I personally have always thought he was one of the best things about MGS2 and imo gradually became worse as he was written to be more "emo" in MGS4. I just feel like the dissociative identity disorder element could have been handled better in rising. Thinking back on MGR(which I love to death) I actually enjoyed his dialogue in the codec conversations a lot more than his dialogue in the cut scenes. But one thing is for sure, EVERYTHING about that final boss was perfect!
Bobby Henderson Actually, he's pretty chill during cutscene as well. He's no longer an emo like in MGS4. Some of his reaction like his rage during Sunny cutscene or his jokes in some of the cutscenes were perfect in MGR. I think if you compare MGR Raiden to MGS2 to MGS4, it was like a 2 different characters. He got some Dante from the original DMC (Not Reboot) personality. I LMAO when he was pissed at the dog and the chin.
ShinobiLiger Raiden really never goes all out in the beginning of a fight. So it would take a bit before Raiden started going hard enough to cut through
Yeah, the movies and power of popularity has made it so it appears Wolverine is immortal like Deadpool when actually a lot of people can kill him. Kitty could phase through and pull out his brain, Magneto could crush his head or rip his head clean off as he's already ripped the adamantium out of him once, Iceman could freeze his head to the point of brain death(why drowning can kill him), Storm could electrocute his head until his brain is totally fried, Invisible Woman could make a force bubble inside his brain and smash it, Rogue could drain him to death, Elixir could shut down his mutation, a reality warper like Scarlet Witch, Wiccan or Franklin Richards could do any number of things to take him down. He's been overhyped cuz of his popularity in the movies, back before they started writing him stronger to boost sales he's almost died from being tortured repeatedly until his healing factor was over taxed. Just saying, he's no Deadpool and even he's only immortal cuz Thanos cursed him.
With Raiden/Sam's sword, Sam was only able to cut through Armstrong's nanomachine arm by sheathing it redrawing it with his gun sheath and Raiden was only able to do it to Armstrong in his Jack the Ripper mode. So it is a matter of force.
you probably know by now but they said near the end that raiden's ripper mode enables him to strike with forces capable of cutting structures built to withstand nuclear explosions...with strength like that coupled with the murasama it's not at all surprising that he was able to cut through wolvie's neck and if he were to cut through adamantium :)
Also, I'd see the reason he didn't cut through until the end was due to Adamantiam being though enough where even weakened by the vibrations it was very hard to cut. He needed to hit it hard enough on top of it being weakened to actually cut through.
+TheWerdna Nope. The animation was for fun, the outcome is decided in the research area. If they were fighting outside this animation, due to Raiden far superior strength and speed, WV would be dead in 1-2 seconds by being beheaded. But that wouldn't make for a fun animated fight to watch now, would it? :)
I have an explanation for the fact that Raiden didn't cut through Wolverine's skeleton and claws since the very beginning of the fight..... BECAUSE WHERE IS THE GOD DAMN ENTERTAINMENT OF THIS FIGHT THEN, WHAT KIND OF FIGHT HAS ONE OF THE FIGHTERS DIED FROM THE BEGINNING!!!!!!.... hmph hmph, I'm just saying guys, it's more than obvious that the Murasama can cut through adamantium really easily, they just wanted to make a good fight, that's all.
Also, you're more than just right, the death battles are just for entertainment and nothing else, but what everybody should take as a serious thing is the entire research, which is what decides all the outcomes of all death battles, I never payed attention to the actual fights, I only watched them for entertainment, what I always care about is the research and nothing else, mostly the outcome, I don't care if the fight makes sense or not, they only added them to be different from other RUclipsrs who just said everything they know about the characters, and then they said who would win (boring!), I still want them to do them though, they're awesome, amazing, spectacular, incredible, etc., ScrewAttack! forever! (Exaggeration XD, but still really good =))
+H.A. O.R. Raiden didn't know what the hell Wolverine was. He was swinging just enough to cut *Human Flesh and bones*, anyone thats ever been in a serious fight knows, YOU DON'T WASTE POWER BY THROWING EVERYTHING INTO EVERY ATTACK. Once Raiden knew he was made of Metal, like he said, "I'll just have to swing harder than!"
@@TheBUCfifty but at the same time, he would've just swung harder after seeing his being factor the first time. Also swinging doesn't deplete his energy but Zandatsu and Jack The Ripper does.
To the guy who lost the match let me give you an example. Lets say you have a stick of butter and a sharp knife, sure the knife would have no problem slicing through it with ease, however lets say the butter is frozen, regular force you would normally use wont cut it, you need to apply pressure in order to cut through the butters more solid form. Same goes for wolverines adamantium, Raidens sword can cut through anything but since adamantium is much thicker than your average metal, then of course it takes stronger force to cut it
The vibrations from the sword made the adamantium weaker but its still a strong metal hence he needed the extra strength and force from his jack the ripper mode to finally cut through it.
Each hit slowly destabilizes the molecular structure of what the Murasama is hitting he hit wolverines skeleton enough times in the last clash to cut through Wolverines spine before the molecules restabilized.
I assume the sword needs more time to break down a metal like adamantiun. It shouldn't break down instantly. It just gets softer with every hit until it just can't hold together anymore.
About the information. Deathbattle do like to let the viewers guess and then after the fight find out why the Winner won. Or else what whould be the point of the fight if they say before who whould most likely win.
Guys the reason that Raidens blade didn't cut through at first is because maybe he can edit the frequency rate on the blade and in his rage mode he probably turns it to its highest rate.
I'd like to point out that in a sword fight, it doesn't matter if you have the sharpest sword in the world; if you can't land a perfectly executed cut, it's not going to do much but just glance off, hence the technique of parrying.
Wolverine's claws could block Raiden's Murasama, but the Murasama could decapitate for one simple reason. The structure of the spine features intervertebral discs that cannot be armored or Wolverine can't move from the neck down. Combine that with what they said about his healing factor "stemming from his brain", Raiden could have used the steak knife from my dining room table for this. I'm just sayin'. :)
Well think of it this way. If they specifically said that Raiden's blade could cut adamantium before the fight everyone would assume Raiden would win, completely ruining any sense of the "Omg who will win?!" for the fight. Plus there wouldn't have been any slapping :3
In the ripper mode he slows down time massively so combined with the vibrations with the high frequency blade, the vibrations was working a great deal faster than normal
Raiden's strikes are meant to chip away at his targets to get them ready for the stronger cuts, which is why wolverine was able to block his strikes with his claws. Until Ripper mode happened
The reasonable cause for the blade not cutting Logans claws etc was the lack of force was most logically due to Raiden reserving his power until he realised Logan wasn't being fazed by anything less. This DB is honestly one of there best
Yeah he doesn’t want to understand how that works and thinks that blade can be dropped onto his arm and it’ll cut with no force..lol but that’s not how it works but doesn’t want to understand that..
Even though Riden was blocking and pairing off Wolverine's strikes and attack, for the most part they were short, quick thrusts. They didn't really make contact for very long, so maybe that way it didn't effect the Antimantium before.
You guys do know the final fight in the videos is just a demo for entertainment and not a display of what would actually happen, right? That's why the sword didn't cut through early on like it really would, they wanted to give a good show.
The reason his blood is red is due to by the time of Metal Gear Rising (4 years after MGS4) improvements have been made to artificial blood to make it much more efficient and closer to organic blood. So in Rising his blood is red.
Know your physics: Both Temperature (heat) and PRESSURE (shock) are factors which influence chemical bonds between atoms and therefore molecular stability.
The cyborg bodies Raiden has in Rising are just that-entire bodies, not suits. In MGS4 it was a powered exoskeletal suit grafted to his body, but by the time of MGR cyborg technology had improved to the point that this exosuits was totally obsolete (in fact, I believe Raiden's suit was somewhat obsolete even in MGS4) and "full body cybernetic enhancement" was what you needed to keep up. All throughout MGR, Raiden has a synthetic cyborg body-even in the beginning when he looks largely the same as he did in MGS4 (he converted his existing exosuit frame into full-body cyborg enhancement, or perhaps had a cyborg body made to look just like his original exosuit, either one works). We know they are bodies because, besides being told so in codex conversations, you fight AI-controlled "spare bodies" of other custom-made cyborgs you've defeated at one point in the game.
contrary to the argument, it IS about the force of striking. a vibrating object has a tendency to "bounce" off at the point of contact. if you force the object tighter though. most of the vibrations get transfered into the second object..
This was definitely one of my favorites I loved your reaction I've been watching you guys for a while yet I rarely like I'm an idiot 😅 I know but thanks for all the content you produce for us and the entertainment anyways have a nice day ✌
wolverine's blade is muramasa a cursed blade that killed many Tokugawa and there are multiple as the name Muramasa is given to any sword crafted by Muramasa Senji. Raiden's sword is Murasama is a fictional blade from the MG universe most likeley reference to Murasame which refers to a tipe of rain, and Raijin( Raiden) is a Japanese lightning deity.
To Answer why they didn't reveal Adamantiom being weak agains HF Blades is due to the fact that that was covered by a Hero that isn't apart of the X-Men and is marked lesser known so most likely never met Wolverine.
just for the record even if it was weakened, there's nothing to say it would be entirely useless. it's highly possible it was just weakened to a point that is still above steel, but at least possible to him to cut with TONS of force.
+Syllaren and don't forget the neck and spine are week spot cus f the gap between the bones and raiden can slow his per section of time to get a better cut at week spots
zeonthefox i considered bringing that up, but right after that he cut the skull into tiny chunks, so i decided to just stick to explaining him cutting through adamantium(plus there's nothing to say cutting off his head would kill wolverine, brain wouild still survive in that situation)
This is how i see it. With each swing, the murasama weakened the metal and over time Logan's skeleton was so weak the sword in jack the ripper mode cut through the metal. I beleieve thats how Wiz and Boomstick meant to say it to be honest
Yeah Raiden is a badass in Metal Gear Rising. I had my doubts if he was going to win against Logan's adamantium skeleton, but their explanation makes sense. Also, for people complaining that Raiden should've lost because he lost one arm, he has fought with one arm or no arms at all and still kicked ass. And that energy absorption in the beginning for Raiden, that was only at the beginning before the fight even seriously started. Wolverine has been killed before, proving that he isn't indestructible. It is just that Logan takes more effort and other ways to kill him.
If it wasn't for one little change to Wolverine's powers, I would've been fine with this. They changed the source of Wolverine's regenerative ability to his bone marrow, which would've changed the entire fight. Also, Wolverine can naturally regrow his Adamantium, but it is slightly weaker than the true alloy. Also, I'm not exactly sure a high-frequency blade stacks up to a high-frequency arm made of Antartic Vibranium, a.k.a. Anti-Metal. And the arm was also constructed by Tony Stark.
Then Raiden would just have to cut every part of Wolvie's body to pieces. He has the speed, power and precision to pulverize Wolverine with his sword, even outside of Ripper mode. Also remember that Antartic Vibranium is called antimetal because of its vibrating properties, it's not like it's some kind of conceptual weapon. Essentially anything that could vibrate like it could be considered anti-metal,
two words: murasama blade. that was the real outliar in this fight. adamantium is nice but it, vibranium, and specifically anti metal aka artic vibranium are all sought after for their different reasons. it is well established that an antimetal blade could probably slice through anything but a vibranium blade which makes adamantium being the strongest metal quite mute as a point. speed is not a problem as wolverine can move faster than the normal human eye can track(raiden is a cyborg so not human) and has tagged a speedster. so the fight comes down to the fact that raiden DOES have a way to put wolverine down permanently. and while wolverine DOES have the original muramasa blade of japanese lore this is technically not part of his basic arsenal as he more or less borrowed it and does not really carry it on him .
and raiden hits harder. i mean from the data raiden can lift and move a machine that weighs several dozen tons where as wolverine's limit would be about 3 tons at maximum assuming like everyone else wolverine's physical strength nearly doubles when angry. so raiden has the EDGE and strength advantage over wolverine in this.
14:00 if a regular person where to use that high frequency blade to slash wolverine it wouldn't have enough force to push though his adamantium but this is jack we are talking about so with that sword and the force of Jacks strong slashs yeah he can do it...even with a molecular stable metal.. a high frequency blade is made to destabilize those bonds it's what it's made and used for
Well if you pressed Raidens blade against Wolverine it wouldn’t really work, the vibrators will only soften the metal. He still needs the force to break the softened adamantium.
In my opinion I look at it this why with any normal metal the sword has no problem with cutting because its not stable molecular structure but adamantium. sorry if I spelled that wrong. But adamantium is a stable metal so at that point it comes to how much force is applied. Just like if you where cutting a thick piece of wood with a axe
You need to realize, that even if Adamantium is molecularly stable, it was confirmed in it's own universe to break Adamantium. That means that regardless of whoever fights against Adamantium, Vibrations > Adamantium.
... How does Wolverine bend his wrists if his claws are over half the length of a forearm? And in answer to why Wolverine doesn't cut through Raiden's sword; when you glance a blow from a blade, it doesn't come in at the right angle, and therefore doesn't cut correctly.
I believe the scene showed at your 7:40 mark comes from the x-men anime. Marvel created a series of marvel anime with iron Man, Blade, Wolverine, and X-Men. There may have been others, but I don't remember. In my opinion, the Iron Man and Wolverine anime are worth checking out. I don't remember much of the others, so I can't tell you if they are good or not.
In regards to why Raiden's sword didn't cut through Wolvie's claws, aren't his claws naturally designed for combat, therefore being stronger than the tendons in the neck? If I recall correctly, bones inside the body are weaker than those in the limbs right?
Ya know now that I think about it, I think the Muramasa would break if Raiden tried to stab straight through something as thick as an adamsntium skull. It wouldn't have enough surface area to cause the vibrations necessary to weaken the bones
5:52 to 5:59 is the game X-men Origins Wolverine everyone I saw reacting to this always asked where that's from I have the game and It was fun an really liked it
8 years ago you complained why Wolverine doesn’t wear the yellow suit oh if you could tell 8 years ago you that, that very thing you were complaining about was only 8 years away with deadpool x Wolverine movie (aka deadpool 3) just think how much hope and happiness you would have knowing that is happening ^^

I love how at the end of the battle they added in Vergil’s theme from DMC4
"I have a really good healing factor"
Okay, that was pretty hilarious.
He actually never got rid of his Cyborg body at the end of MGS4, but rather had it modified to be more slimmed down and with synthetic skin over top so that it would more easily pass as human.
he actually had a hologram on him
Ddraig Jackal
No, you could see the seams. It was fake skin
+Sh1tDisturber exactly.
Sh1tDisturber yeah it gets really annoying to remind people that these vids are to entertain, but since screw attack is being hit with different options of how to do their vids without pissing off fanboys and their fav character they chosen to win in this death battle although they didn't do too many of their vids that bad.
I think Raiden could've only cut through in his Jack The Ripper mode since his already super strength is enhanced
+Blind Wave Make sure you play the DLC in revengence as well. You won't be dissapointed.
Bobby Henderson
Actually, he's pretty chill during cutscene as well.
If you guys haven't yet, can you do a Lets Play of Metal Gear Rising?
I agree
+MegaDrainProductions Raiden didn't actually use ripper mode against Armstrong though. At least I didnt in the fight.
How? Isn't it Automatic?
Honestly I saved the blade mode juice for those horse cock parts where Armstrong throws shit, didn’t go ripper
you probably know by now but they said near the end that raiden's ripper mode enables him to strike with forces capable of cutting structures built to withstand nuclear explosions...with strength like that coupled with the murasama it's not at all surprising that he was able to cut through wolvie's neck and if he were to cut through adamantium :)
this channel is quickly becoming my favourite keep up the good work lads
Also, I'd see the reason he didn't cut through until the end was due to Adamantiam being though enough where even weakened by the vibrations it was very hard to cut. He needed to hit it hard enough on top of it being weakened to actually cut through.
+TheWerdna actually the reason why he didn't cut adamantium until the end is because it would not be entertaining if Raiden killed Wolverine in 1 hit
+The Assassin Spy yeah exactly this.
+TheBUCfifty That makes sense as well actually, I didn't even think about that, thank you!
Same goes for wolverines adamantium, Raidens sword can cut through anything but since adamantium is much thicker than your average metal, then of course it takes stronger force to cut it
who else is just looking for random peoples reactions
That one random Guy right here
I am 8 years later.
I know this is old, but if that blade can cut through "NANO MACHINES, SON!" I have no doubt it can cut through adamantium
The song in the fight was an original piece created for this show.
Here it is if you wanna hear it. ruclips.net/video/7v96i4Bgk9E/видео.html
+MaxOfFewTrades Hi boss got an online library of comic and manga scan if you would like
The vibrations from the sword made the adamantium weaker but its still a strong metal hence he needed the extra strength and force from his jack the ripper mode to finally cut through it.
Each hit slowly destabilizes the molecular structure of what the Murasama is hitting he hit wolverines skeleton enough times in the last clash to cut through Wolverines spine before the molecules restabilized.
6 years ago. Where did it go?
I assume the sword needs more time to break down a metal like adamantiun. It shouldn't break down instantly. It just gets softer with every hit until it just can't hold together anymore.
About the information. Deathbattle do like to let the viewers guess and then after the fight find out why the Winner won. Or else what whould be the point of the fight if they say before who whould most likely win.
I'm impressed how much similar the person voicing Raiden sounds to Quinton Flynn, his actual English voice actor.
Guys the reason that Raidens blade didn't cut through at first is because maybe he can edit the frequency rate on the blade and in his rage mode he probably turns it to its highest rate.
A well deserved face slap. Quit complaining and accept your slap
I appreciate how much thought went into the discussion
10:52 why didnt you played that that game was FUCKING awesome
***** ok
+Blind Wave I look forward to that.
+Blind Wave metal gear Ray was introduced in mgs2 the same game Raiden debuted in.
Jeez how long is that list amirite
Fun fact, the Hulk ripped Wolverine in half and he still lived and regenerated his body back normally.
This was definitely one of my favorites I loved your reaction I've been watching you guys for a while yet I rarely like I'm an idiot 😅 I know but thanks for all the content you produce for us and the entertainment anyways have a nice day ✌
How have you guys not played Metal Gear Rising for the channel yet after getting so hyped from the snippets you saw in this?
wolverine's blade is muramasa a cursed blade that killed many Tokugawa and there are multiple as the name Muramasa is given to any sword crafted by Muramasa Senji.
Raiden's sword is Murasama is a fictional blade from the MG universe most likeley reference to Murasame which refers to a tipe of rain, and Raijin( Raiden) is a Japanese lightning deity.
15:19 don’t worry it only took 8 years but they’re doing the blue and yellow suit
Essentially anything that could vibrate like it could be considered anti-metal,
The game was actually X-Men origins: Wolverine game that was rated M because Wolverine is BADASS
5:59 That game was X-Men Origins Wolverine.
The guy on the far left is so pissed wolverine lost 😂😂😂
well, Wolvies claws were torn up a lot from fighting the high frequency blade.
two words: murasama blade. that was the real outliar in this fight. adamantium is nice but it, vibranium, and specifically anti metal aka artic vibranium are all sought after for their different reasons. it is well established that an antimetal blade could probably slice through anything but a vibranium blade which makes adamantium being the strongest metal quite mute as a point. speed is not a problem as wolverine can move faster than the normal human eye can track(raiden is a cyborg so not human) and has tagged a speedster. so the fight comes down to the fact that raiden DOES have a way to put wolverine down permanently. and while wolverine DOES have the original muramasa blade of japanese lore this is technically not part of his basic arsenal as he more or less borrowed it and does not really carry it on him .
and raiden hits harder. i mean from the data raiden can lift and move a machine that weighs several dozen tons where as wolverine's limit would be about 3 tons at maximum assuming like everyone else wolverine's physical strength nearly doubles when angry. so raiden has the EDGE and strength advantage over wolverine in this.
14:00
if a regular person where to use that high frequency blade to slash wolverine it wouldn't have enough force to push though his adamantium but this is jack we are talking about so with that sword and the force of Jacks strong slashs yeah he can do it...even with a molecular stable metal.. a high frequency blade is made to destabilize those bonds it's what it's made and used for
Well if you pressed Raidens blade against Wolverine it wouldn’t really work, the vibrators will only soften the metal. He still needs the force to break the softened adamantium.
Actually if you check closer at Wolverines claws you can see they are being dented.
The sword acts slowly in it destabilizing process as seen in the final boss fight in rising.
In my opinion I look at it this why with any normal metal the sword has no problem with cutting because its not stable molecular structure but adamantium. sorry if I spelled that wrong. But adamantium is a stable metal so at that point it comes to how much force is applied. Just like if you where cutting a thick piece of wood with a axe
guys, link vs cloud was the first 3d battle
Antarctic Vibranium arm vs. High Frequency Blade - Which one is destroyed first?
The arm, because the blade cuts AND vibrates, the arm just grabs.
Nice reaction video! It's been ten months, have you guys finally played Rising?
The reason Solidus Snake looked like Big Boss is because he was a clone of him .
I don't remember much of the others, so I can't tell you if they are good or not.
if ur referring 2 d part where he gets out of the hand cuffs its from xmen origins wolverine de psp version.
Alexsander Sosa I'm talking about the scene with Beast in it where Wolverine goes berserk.
my bad
"Stems From His Brain" But Heals From A Drop Of Blood.....
Dat Salt at the end.
In regards to why Raiden's sword didn't cut through Wolvie's claws, aren't his claws naturally designed for combat, therefore being stronger than the tendons in the neck? If I recall correctly, bones inside the body are weaker than those in the limbs right?
It’s a battle. Not a war. He killed him, for now
Easiest way to kill Wolverine is, water.
Can't swim when your bones are covered in metal.
And he can't heal water. That's not healing, it's magic.
MORE SLAP BETS!!! Please.
Ya know now that I think about it, I think the Muramasa would break if Raiden tried to stab straight through something as thick as an adamsntium skull. It wouldn't have enough surface area to cause the vibrations necessary to weaken the bones
.... the melting away thing.... you know if his healing factor is limitless.... that would actually work 0_0
Hey, Misty Knight is in Luke Cage
5:52 to 5:59 is the game X-men Origins Wolverine everyone I saw reacting to this always asked where that's from I have the game and It was fun an really liked it
watching this at work 2017
If the said it could cut adamantium it'd take all the suspense out of it!
(At 16:50) I like this song playing too. please tell me you guys already know where it's from and what it's called?
+Samuel Green Its called Exo by Brandon Yates the same person who did the SSGSS song Alive in Goku vs. Superman 2.
"Are you some kind of cyborg?"
Well considering wolverine once healed himself together again from a single drop of blood, I’d say he would get right back up for round 2.
Nope. That comic was non canon and that feat was caused by a Crystal that he was near that increased his healing factor.
Second Path Oh okay, I’ve never read the comic myself but saw it on a facts page, thanks for the reply.
you guys were saying why haven't there been a live-action Wolverine have you not seen the X-Men movies
Should watch Ivy vs Orchid in a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!!
8 years ago you complained why Wolverine doesn’t wear the yellow suit oh if you could tell 8 years ago you that, that very thing you were complaining about was only 8 years away with deadpool x Wolverine movie (aka deadpool 3) just think how much hope and happiness you would have knowing that is happening ^^
with no modes he couldn't cut the adimantium but than he activated both super modes and won.
RULES OF NATURE!!!!
5:54 X-men Origin: Wolverine the Game. The best movie base game from last gen.
Please do a let's play of Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
