Part of the reason for the underwhelming fight animation was because they were bringing in a new animator, and this was his first fight.

Well in the fight, Batman threw a batarang at Steve and he reacted by throwing the shield in the exact same place expecting it to hit Batman.

I'm actually not all that surprised by this outcome, I enjoyed both Batman and good Ol' Cap for some time now. Batman just had the upper hand in nearly everything aside from raw strength which Cap surely had, I mean that's just obvious. Batman however usually carries a variety of things in his belt to prepare for more than your average encounter, Cap isn't anything special to what Bat's has gone up against. Bat has also taking beatings from people stronger than Cap as well, when it boiled down to intelligence Bats had the advantage. I didn't really see this going any other way in all honestly.

To make it even more fair, if you take all of their gadgets, shield, suit and etc., Batman is still the smartest one, and the most skilled of the pair. Cap is slightly physically superior to Batman in terms of strength and durability, with their speed probably being equal, but still, not enough to be of any significance in a hand-to-hand fight. In fact, if we go by even deeper comic facts, Batman has pressed far in excess of 1000 lbs, and again, so has Cap, but still, not enough to matter in a purely physical fight between them two. On a fight with two people sharing similar physical stats, the win goes to the one holding the superior intellect and skill-set.
Actually cap is slightly above peak (slightly below 'super'), a little more 5 or 6 times stronger than average human. Batman is peak human, just 5 times stroger than average human. So cap is not even twice of batman's physicality. For another one, deathstroke is 10 times stronger than average human, making him twice stronger than bats, that is what we call a 'super' human.

batman is such a shit super hero! he is just a rich guy! I want my superheros to not be just a human, I really do not understand why people are so hung up on batman.

Well i personally do not want my superheroes to be that relatable, i want them to be other worldly and different.
A rich guy who mastered every form of Martial Art and Weapons, Super-Genius (First/Second Smartest man on Earth), Inhuman strength (In the real world) yeah... He's a human, but he is a comic book human, and they are unrealistic. BATMAN IS NOT RELATABLE at all. Superman however, is the hero that should be relatable and it is a good thing.

This was the first one I disagree with it....Steve wouldn't go down that easy.
It's not really the matter of whether Steve could endure getting a beat down, it's more of a matter of whether Steve could survive a beat down from someone like Batman. Batman has gone up against super humans before like Bane and Deathstroke, and won. Bane is stronger than Batman and Cap, and Deathstroke is faster than all of them. And Batman has beaten them both through his own knowledge and experience of fighting, as well as his genius intellect and strategy. The only real thing Cap has against Batman other than being physically superior is his shield. And going back to Batman, his strategy would revolve around disarming Cap of his shield and THEN giving him a beat down, and as said, Batman is superior in terms of martial arts skills.

Look I'm a boxing fan and understand that all Steve has to do is clip Batman once on chin/temple/ and his legs will go jelly beneath him and Steve would tear the cowl off and beat him to death. Is it possible that Bats could somehow beat him? yes but Steve would be the favorite 8/10 times.

John The Nice Guy One of the rules of Death Battle is that all characters that are featured that have any rules about killing are removed. And untrue. Batman has beaten Deathstroke more times than the other way around.

Guys, the only reason either of them beat Hulk was because one, those aren't canon, and two, Hulk was in a lesser form. Hulk killed Thor, Iron man, Cap, and basically every other marvel super hero. And it was CANON. look up world war hulk aka worldbreaker hulk. If you want to see and even stronger canon hulk look up heart of the monster hulk, he fucking destroyed an entire dimension.

Since we're on the topic of death battles, you could (should?) check out a fan made one (and the animation is awesome!) between Superman and Saitama. It's one of the greatest and the youtuber Mightyraccoon! who did it needs some love for the work he put in to it. It's almost at a million views to.

according to this death battle the drug captain america took brought him to the peak of human physical abilities. so by that logic its not something that cant be reached through effort and training which is what batman did. unlike bruce, cap was a skinny weak dude all his life, while bats was decent and trained to his pinnacle so u could say both are at peak human abilities with a slight edge to cap for the forced mutant aspect

Actually cap is extremely skilled in martial arts even more so than bane and more experience, though batman still takes the martial arts part
@@crossfire6558 No, Cap knows how to fight and maybe he learned how to do Martial Arts later in the comics but Cap during WW and after being thawed out and also in the movies didn't know Martial Arts.
I think Bane has been portrayed like a meathead in many DC Animated movies and in some comics but overall, he actually does know how to fight.
He does give Batman trouble if Batman didn't have his gadgets.

Guys, they left out one huge fact of cap's abilities. He has regeneration on par with Hulk, Batman has no regeneration.
