I love this match. But let's be honest: One is not more brutal then the other. One is just more violence driven. The Joker has to have a set up generally for his "jokes", but I would rather have Needles use his machete to gut me then try and figure out the sick deranged plot Joker has planned for me. The Joker has broken Captain Hope (Superman), in several continuities. He always loses the fight, but more often then not, in terms of corrupting and ruining the lives of his prey... he ALWAYS wins.

Usually I don't notice the small stuff but the way how both Eric and Aaron chuckled at the same time when Joker did his "Bitches!" line caught my attention lol.
I actually think they forgot the most important thing about Sweet Tooth/Needles... he is technically already dead and can keep coming back to life to fight the joker. The joker is basically going to be haunted by a very aggressive demon until he dies.
Just means he has to keep killing him. After a while even the Joker would stop playing around, and instead of getting the Joker trying to play a humorous kill, he'd just kill him.
The joker would definitely trap him somewhere at some point

In all honesty I feel SweetTooth destroying the Batmobile/Jokermobile with a single rocket was a scapegoat for making Needles seem like a bigger threat than he really is

Did you miss the up close and personal bit of his bio? When your main weapon is a machete you use that more than any gun. I would have preferred a tie though. Sweet Tooth gets angry and slams his machete into Joker before laughing. Then again I know nothing about Twisted Metal so I dont know if choking is something he normally does.
It's not. Sweet Tooth should have won with his mech. He doesn't care how you do die,m just that you die. They undersold how much of a murderous psychopath he is. Truth is, Joker could not do shit about that mech.

@Wasabifold, It made sense to me. Like they said, up close and personal is what the guy likes, and beyond that, he'd have no reason to believe the Joker could do anything else. I don't understand why you think that them apparently underselling what a psychopath the guy is somehow makes him getting out to do it with his bare hands make less sense.

FamAD 123 Tell me. What makes more sense? That the moment he turned into his Mech suit he would have turned the Joker into Swiss Cheese with his Minigun INSTEAD of backhanding him for some inexplicable reasons, which would also have killed since the mech suit's punches are capable of destroying a skyscraper. Or that he'd get out of that mech and get up close to the Joker? The mech serves no purpose unless he was going to use its power in a lethal way.

Ah another Death battle where one character gets all the bonusses from all the versions while another is just one version with its pros and cons.
Sweettooth has tricked Calypso more than Calypso has tricked sweettooth. Even if hes a complete psycho sweettooth in most versions always finds a way to get the upper hand.

Characters are set up at there PEAK, the only "unfair" part is simply that there are more versions of 1 character to sift through whereas ST is rly only in the games and VERY few GN's
K, Sweet Tooth would still try to get the kill with his machete or just in general closer than inside of a Mech. And while he's not just an idiot jock that's nothing but muscle. He is rather intelligent, & yes, has also tricked Calypso a few times. But that means nothing with how manipulative & frighteningly smart the Joker is. Tricking Sweet Tooth was probably easier than when he stole his Ice Cream.

i don't mean reacting to the whole e[isode like abridged, but cutting chunks out like most of the other series they watch such as Arrow or GoT or The last Airbender. At least that's what i think they could do, but maybe they addressed this problem and i just missed it.

They made Needles too basic and mindless. From what I could tell, he only kills up close when it was something super close and personal. Having his reason to be up close for this match really undersold Needles. The Sweet Tooth mech he would never get out of. Also Needles really only seemed to get up close when it was for revenge. If he had to be “up close” to kill he would have to get out of his vehicle and finish off the people in the vehicle battles. They made him too stupid in this. Not saying he would win, but he is smarter than they made him out. Also Calypso is technically not even human if he can grant stuff like sending him to die in the coffin. Calypso is more supernatural so basing that as a reason the Joker could manipulate him is ridiculous. Comparing a crazy clown to a supernatural being calypso is completely impractical. It’s like saying the Genie from Aladdin and Harry Potter are the same. If I had to pick how it would Sweet Tooth/Needles would go out, it would be from the weird pistol he used. If it could damage the Batmobile it could damage Sweet Tooth. They could have just had the truck blow up from a well placed pistol shot and then Joker comes in and takes him out with the gas or something. That would have been a way better and more reasonable ending.
Just to reiterate, this is more about how they represented Sweet Tooth/Needles and not that I’m upset he lost. Joker’s Canon vs Twisted Metal is like using (in terms of the amount of source material) all the Harry Potter books vs those books for babies that are like 10 “pages” or less. So Joker is way more developed and has so much more of an arsenal to use towards Needles.
God I know this is a old vid but hearing him say spiderman dosnt need a Motorcycle or car that shoots webbing cuase he does thing. Current and original spiderman dosnt have infinite webbing meaning he would want to save what hen could for fighting villains. So using the bike or car he wouldn't need to worry to much.

Honestly, Needles/Sweet Tooth was already crazy, already had a Hellish Curse on him, already strong enough to take out a wish demon named Calypso... When he comes up against superior opponents, he just fucking annihilates them, especially when he has to fight that hard against an enemy. They completely discounted Needles intelligence within the games, only taking the most recent version of Sweet Tooth that is one-directional and simple minded, even though he manipulated his alter ego into giving up control. Death Battle is fucking stupid, and its not because someone I liked lost, cause Joker is plenty cool, but they always skew the scales and give one character too many abilities from different continuities and focus only on one continuity for another. Case in Point, Captain America VS Batman, where Bats is somehow strong enough to kick Cap up and over a building, and Cap is stupid enough to remain inside a smokescreen despite fighting the Wehrmacht and HYDRA in battles in WWII where that would obviously have been used.

in my opinion u can also react to the yang vs tifa DB. it doesn't rly includes spoilers for rwby, regarding the story, only a part of a fight scene from vol. 2 (and few others that won't tell u much since they are out of context) and some general background information about remnant, which you can also get from the "world of remnant" episodes.
They're waiting to finish Volume 2 before doing it because I'm sure they don't want spoilers even for the fights. I think the Death Battle actually spoils the ending of the fight you're talking about, so in my opinion, it's definitely best for them to wait until they're past that point.

Sweet Tooth is an awesome, and absolutely terrifying killer clown that gave me nightmares when I was a kid. I think I played Twisted Metal Black when I was like 6-8 years old. Still love the game.

I have a problem with this particular Death Battle, not with the outcome per se but more with the battle itself, the Joker is physically an ordinary human, being punched by a mech and breaking through concrete should have killed him INSTANTLY!!!

If Sweettooth can punch a building so hard it completely collapses, Joker should have died. That and Needles would not have backhanded him. I've just got one comment so far. They say Sweet Tooth is the more hardcore. But have you seen some of the shit that Joker has done? Off the top of my head, made Superman kill his wife and unborn child and destroy Metropolis (Injustice storyline), beat the shit out of Jason Todd, and then killed him, killing a roomful of armed thugs with a glass cup (Under the Red Hood), and electrified various people so that their skin melted off (Batman 1989). Oh, and the whole carving a smile into people's face that he does in some comics and in The Dark Knight. There's some other ones that I can't name off the top of my head, but c'mon.
Sweet Tooth is the vehicle, you mean Needles Kane. Think they were talking hardcore as in toughness or endurance, not all the feats they've accomplished. That really wouldn't be fair to compare anyway, seeing there is simply way more material for Joker than Needles. Joker isn't know for his toughness, he's not quite the brute that Needles is when it comes to that aspect. I'd say that Joker would have died in that electric chair, whereas Needles didn't...because he's tough.
Besides they actually didn't say who was more hardcore, Eric said," One is certainly more hardcore than the other.". And just before that Eric was talking about Needles endurance after he heard the story of what happened when he survived the electric chair.
In my opinion anyway, the only way Joker beat him is through deception and trickery. Seeing as Calypso has tricked Needles before, meaning he is susceptible to it. And he won through his gas, which is more trickery than anything. Doubt he would survive an actual fight
