In this video Antony Cummins takes you through the Japanese sword in a 3D animation. The information is taken from a scroll from the 17th century called Heigu Yoho, the scroll has been translated in the Book of Samurai Series Arms Armour and the Tactics of Warfare.

This was a really good video full of great information I learned a couple new things myself. I knew the basic structure however I only know a couple words in Japanese. I didn't know about the different but similar sayings of certain pieces 👍🏻
I think samurai knifes overview would be good follow up topic for video. As there are so many types with different designs and uses and some were even worn on right side in armour which is quite unheard of for samurai.
