The spring arm for the mount should be parallel with the ground, that will get rid of the rest of your issues

Most people aren't being honest about this system. There is horizontal shake that runes any footage being shot at 180. Yes you can stabilize in post but you can't remove the motion blur.

I also thought lighter would be better. But the stabilizer and the springs are actually set up to deal with much havier camera set ups. So either get a heavier camera and lenses or change the springs on the damping plates to softer ones. This will make the footage way smoother.

Awesome vid. What are some of the important lessons you've learned to avoid shaky footage from the Alien?
One thing I've learned is to add more stiffness to the ronin settings after auto calibration. ( set the stiffness as high as you can to the sweet spot before it starts to shake. DJI tutorials taught that and its very helpful) also set the car mount to Auto

unfortunately that vibration absorber plate is to stiff. Designed for heavier setups. Thanks for test Mauro
It depends
How this set reacts on g-force while turning the camera car? All shots seems to be taken on straight road.
Dependingly on the G Force of your cornering. It will stretch the tilting arm firstly, than secondly if the turn is rough it will tilt the gimbal in an not so horizontal line, thirdly you will find your camera smashing the ground and some $$$$$$ in repair =)

Actually they are an balancing option for it..to make it more stable..you don't have to use them at all

Yes of course. This is actually designed for RS2
you cant, you have to use rs2 or rs3 pro

@@MAUROSFILMS Drones can provide a unique angle to car shots but for low-angle shots control is gonna be difficult. Plus nothing beats the stability and video quality of an RS2 and camera combo.

Unico appunto, sembrano un pò mosse le riprese, come se non fosse super stabilizzato...sono ignorante, ti do solo la mia impressione :)
Ci credo..paura per la mia A7S III tutto il tempo. Era per questo che la macchina l'ho guidata io. Si Fra, non abbiamo messo bene l'arm pneumatica e per questo motivo non e fluido.. Doveva essere posizionata piu orizzontale. Beh..impariamo sempre qualcosa di nuovo
