IU recently did an interview show with her favorite idol group 'god', which she's a huge fan of, and all they wanted to talk about was what huge fans they were of the series 'My Mister', even describing weeping while watching it. It was so cute.
This really is one of the greatest shows ever made. You called it a masterpiece, and that's no exaggeration.

The last line, "Have you found peace(=Have you reached comfort)?"...Do you know the hidden meaning of this line? The heroine's name is Jian(지안, 至安). Jian means that reached comfort.

The love the two leads have for one another will never fail to move me to tears. Really rattled my life. Simply unconditional affection, two people that saved one another. It's nothing specific, friendship, romance, whatever, it's just love. Always brings me to tears. I can only hope I'm able to help others, even just one person, in the same way.

I think you using the term masterpiece is perfect. I'm watching Payback right now with Dong Hoon's actor and I don't feel like he captures the same magic as he did here but he's good. I'm also looking forward to the next IU project .

Getting apart from a person than once you counted as your life saver is frickin hard, so i totally felt that scene where he cried alone when he was watching tv, and not necessarily like losing a lover, but a bestfriend.
My add that this is a World-Class masterpiece. "Hotel Del Luna" was my gateway drug to Kdramas and IU, so I knew she could act; but I was shocked to see her as a street-rat slowly falling apart but fighting to survive. What a performance. I was bawling all through it too, and little makes me cry. I'm stunned at the talent of people like IU, Park Eun bin and Jung So min. There's never a phony moment in their work - they act from the heart. They have my deepest gratitude for their work.
Now, if you haven't seen "Hotel Del Luna," watch that. It's more humorous, but you'll still be bawling at the end of that too...
In fact, IU's grandmother is deaf, so IU is good at sign language.

I just wanted to say that Kwon Na-ra has the best smile. I swear, she has a really wide mouth, so when she smiles it just lights up her entire face. And IU has the best eyes. They convey so much, and seem to dominate every scene she's in.

Thank you, you did a wonderful job! If I was alone on a desert island, and allowed to bring just one thing with me, I would bring this show. And laugh and cry till I was rescued. Even if 10 years when by, I don't think I would notice. My second favorite Korean show is "goblin". I hope you cover it some time. My mister é definitivamente não só a minha série favorita da vida, mas acho que a minha obra predileta no geral. Quando eu a assisti pela primeira vez, lá em 2020, no meio de uma pandemia, quando nada parecia estar bem e tudo só parecia piorar, esse drama foi como uma luz no fim do túnel, e até hoje ele continua comigo, principalmente como uma fonte de esperança. Acho que essa é a maior mensagem da obra, no final das contas: não importa o quão difícil seja e esteja agora, vai melhorar, tudo melhora, e até lá vamos nos manter fortes e ajudar uns aos outros. Encontrei seus vídeos quando estava pesquisando "My Mister" aqui no youtube (às vezes faço isso pra matar a saudade da série) e eu sou grata por tê-los encontrado! Nova inscrita aqui hehe Paitin, Tsuki! Sejamos felizes!
Ah, um pequeno fun fact: o filme que o Ji-hoon menciona no final do último ep, "Nobody Knows", é do diretor Hirokazu Kore-eda. Esse diretor assistiu My Mister e ficou tão impressionado com a atuação da IU que a convidou pra ser a protagonista do novo filme dele, "Broker", que estreou ano passado!

Ji means (至) achieve, obtain
An means (安) peace
that's why he said "Have you found peace" at the end

I wonder if they will get together after she treats him to dinner at the end? The scene where he is talking on the phone, there pictures of the wife, but is no current photo of the wife after she left to be with the son. At the funeral, her son called her Mr. Park's wife. lol. At the impromptu soccer game, the three women in black all lost the love of their lives. How sad.
Have you watched Mother, a kdrama from 2018? It's a re-make of the Japanese drama of the same name from 2010. Lee Bo Young is the female lead and she is now appearing in Agency. Bring a box of you know what. It's really good.

Não sou de assistir séries coreanas (só tinha visto Round 6), mas recentemente vi a My Name, e essa semana terminei essa My Mister. Gostei muito das duas. Agora queria conhecer alguma outra série nessa pegada de drama mais realista (que não fosse nada muito futil/superficial ou fantasioso)...
... e eu acho que muita gente não entendeu o final direito, pra mim fica bem claro que ele se separou da esposa, alguns episódios atras ela mesma fala que depois que aquela treta toda passasse eles iam se separar, e nesse último EP ela vai pros EUA (inicialmetne por 15 dias, mas depois decide que vai ficar lá até o filho dela terminar todos os estudos, o que vai levar ANOS, então eles estão literalmetne separados por um continente durante anos), é óbvio que o casamento acabou. E na cena final fica totalmente em aberto que a Lee Ji An e o Park Dong Hoon podem sim ter um romance, já que agora os dois estão mais "resolvidos" na vida, e não tem mais barreira nenhuma que os impeça, o convite dela pra jantarem juntos e a forma como os dois se olham não é algo de "apenas amigos"...
Assiste uma noite de primavera. É um melodrama, vc vai gostar
