    Nice games! It's basically insignificant but at 34:40 the Consign to Memory only countered the storm trigger of grapeshot, no? So it would have actually have still done 1 damage from the spell itself. Also i was wondering if there is a reason you tapped the white mana source at 28:35? Did you sideboard out reprieve? (Even so I suppose it could be wished for, but that's an edge case). Again, good games, I learned a lot about how the matchup plays out.
    Edit: oh, I see now that you still had an untapped white source, so my second question is basically answered.

    Nice double PiF and keeping a ritual exiled to cast in response to exiling the GY.

    Incredible to watch. I just started back into MTG about 3 days ago, used to play it in 2006 when I was 11-12. I'm ranking up a lot in mtg arena and learning a ton. This might be a super noob question, but is modern the same as standard?

      modern is no the same, modern is a non rotating format (it's like explorer/pioneer but way farther back) that has a much bigger card pool to work with

    Wonder how popular Ruby Storm will be at the Pro Tour this weekend

      We already know, 9.5% of the decks is Ruby Storm.
      The metashare of Nadu is much more insane, though - around 25%

    I like ruby storm more, but I think jeskai control should have won this. Bringing in 15 sideboard cards is just insane. And in general it seems like if the control player pilots the deck correctly, it is an awful matchup for storm.

    • @jnfirst
      @jnfirst 8 дней назад +1

      That's not what happened: he inserted the hole sideboard, but after that takes off 15 cards.
      So the opponent doesn't know which cards he will actual use.
      Watch on 07:10 again

      @@jnfirst yes, that is how sideboarding works, I didn't mean that he leaves 15 in, I just meant that at least a fourth of his deck now will be spells that are especially good at stopping storm
