Doesnt lifting and adding heaving wheels/tires increase stress all over the suspension mounting points and driveshafts? To properly lift a car and maybe even add increased suspension travel, what else would you need to do in order to make it properly rugged and durable? Just curious if anyone knows. Like let's say I wanted to rally this thing and have it not break, would a lift like this suffice? Probably not right?
You would need a completely redesigned suspension with stronger control arms, ball joints, steering, and properly designed and tuned shocks to handle high speed off road abuse.
What did you guys do about highway wheel vibration? Those wheels are 66.6 hub bore diameter and the mini is 66.56. I read many claim that .005” won’t cause an issue but I have those same wheels and experience 65+mph wheel imbalance vibration although they’re balanced to zero with brand new toyos. I’m thinking of trying some .005” stainless steel shim tape to try and resolve it. Do you know how long it took for the cv axles to take the new angles and stop the low speed acceleration vibration as well?
I have a 2013 countryman jcw all4, have the 2.5 m7 speed lift on it. The tires you put on that one are 28.5” OD, do you think a 29.1” OD tire would fit with some 1” spacers? On the m7 speed site 28.6” OD tires are mentioned as the max size for both the 2” and the 2.5” lift. I’m not sure if I can just get a tire that’s half an inch taller or if the sizes don’t quite add like that.
Just got a used 2019 countryman s all4. What’s the final cost for a lift like this? Could you use the stock rims? Or are there slightly less chunky tires that could go on the original rims?
Sorry we missed that aspect of this video. We've improved a lot from everyone's feedback! The link to this build showcase (photos) has been added to the description for you to get a better look.

Can I use bigger tires to fill up the gaps. Or is there gaps like the ones seen here there for a purpose. I have a 2019.
