I'm 30 and from the UK, we've had Fraiser running in the mornings on a popular cable channel since I started school and I still watch it in the mornings to this very day - can't wait for the new series. :)
Frasier is still the best comedy of all times for me and I think is because of Grammer, the man is absolutely incredible 💜👏👏👏

@@Amp661 but remember Fraiser was on Cheers before he got his own show. I liked him on Cheers with Lilith but when he got his own show and she came over also as a guest role it ended up being pretty good . But I get how it won’t be the same without Niles and Daphanae and Martin.

Just found a channel that shows four Frasier episodes back-to-back episodes six nights a week. Writing and execution is off the charts. With the announcement that the setting of the reboot will be in Boston, I am rekindling hope that Sam and Diane will finally end up together. I know...I have to get a life. But Ted and Shelley are ONLY 75 and 73, and there was that episode in the last season when they flashed forward showing them living happily ever after as an old married couple. I know...a life.
Frasier returning to Boston is the stupidest thing ever, sorry to say. He left Boston behind to start a new life. Diane and Frasier were HORRIBLY forced, plus isn't she in L.A to start a writing career?

Kelsey Grammer has such affection for this character, I'd like to think he wouldn't have sought to do this had he not thought Frasier had one more act left to play. I'm thinking the centerpiece of the show will be Frasier's desire to strengthen his relationship with his son; perhaps Frederick lives in Boston. We'll see...

Kelsey went to the private Pine Crest School in Ft Lauderdale and was friends with one of my mentors ..... I think that's the high school and surfing grounds he's referring to - lots of surfin', smokin', and fooling around from what I was told. :) Other things people don't usually discuss are that his father and sister were murdered, independently.

Actually, Martin (John Mahoney) was 53 or 54 years old when he started playing Martin Crane back in 1993.

Being that Kelsey keeps mentioning in interviews about the "new" ensemble and "some" appearances from the original cast, I do not think it's a complete reboot and it will mainly be about him moving back to Boston and life now with his grown up son, only this time he's the grumpy old guy much to the same effect when Fraiser moved back to Seattle and his father (John Mahoney) came to live with him. I think i'll stick to the reruns of Fraiser as you can never top the magical perfection of the cast with Daphne, Martin, Niles and Roz and "Eddie" among others which I never grow tired with 263 episodes, some I have have never even seen yet, to rotate every few years in watching. Either all living original cast back in full time or nothing. Pass
I agree on passing as well. Mainly due to story. He got his life back after Martin got his gf. He was set to got to Chicago to see what a waited there, yet he's doing a 180 on this reboot. He going back to Boston where he had a series of bad memories: Diane, Lilith, and his barfly attitude at cheers. I can only see him returning for his son, but even that's debatable as Lilith and Frasier are opposites romantically. Yeah, Frasier ended 19 years ago.

I really loved this - and connected with the content too. FC brings back so many memories. BTW - I feel like I saw DT JR post a picture a couple years ago of all of them on the set for FC - Seattle or NY location - not sure...
I've been watching Fraiser show on Prime, and I laugh out loud during their show. That is when comedy was awesome. Not this Woke BS...

Frasier is one of the best sitcoms ever made. Brilliant writing and superb acting. Disappointed there's a reboot though, should have left it as it was.

Kelsey, when on these talk shows, should concoct a story relating to his youthful picture. Maybe it would go something like, when I was young in 1972, and at the beach, while prepping my surf board to ride the waves, an older gentleman approached me and said, Frasier, is that you? This followed by the man apologizing and saying he must be mistaken, then walking away. Then, in 1992 I was pursued by Hollywood agents to try out for the Frasier show. Well,......

@@Lee-oj3ro It's a reboot in name only. I adore the original cast and show. It was brilliant. I watch an episode almost every day. I won't be watching the reboot especially if he's going back to Boston. With the exception of the the theme song I wasn't the biggest Cheers fan and I'm guessing that cast will be guesting.
It won't be great. Frasier's original show was great. this reboot is forced, plot-holed already, and just not needed.
