Filipinas have a strong familial connection of honor that you do not see here in America. If you treat her with love, compassion and dignity you receive ten-fold back. And, most importantly, they see you for your character; not your color.
I just love the Filipino emphasis on family. The small things they pay attention to. The absolute appreciation they display for the smallest gifts. Some weird things (to Westerners) I had a hard time getting used to. After dinner at a restaurant, my wife would wipe down my hands after we finished. At the mall and for vehicles she wanted to open the doors. Also, she wants to be the one holding the umbrella when it's raining. That's hard for me because it goes against the gentleman ethos. Lastly, at the mall I purchased her some shoes. She was so happy but would not allow me to carry the bag??? Finally, I just relented as she would not give in. Lol
All that I can say is that you are a very blessed man to have her. I met and married an Asian women from Nepal already in America. She has changed so much that she is no different than the western women.here. Very disrespectful and listens to nothing that I ask her to do. I’m miserable. If the world ever goes back to normal I was planning to divorce and retire in the Philippines.

My Filipino fiance is amazing and the best thing that ever happened to me. We have a 14 year age gap which seems to be perfect for us. If you are in your 60's and are planning on being a 25 year old Filipino to America you are asking for trouble. Find a good Filipino women with a reasonable age gap and she will stay with you through thick and thin.
Been with my American wife for 23 years. She is a gentle soul. I think there are good and shitty women no matter where you go. Most often you have to look in the mirror and fix yourself first before you can find what you need.
Well said. I love how mem compare us to foreign women. Most of the time they meet a women who needs them because they are poor. They marry you so you can take care of their entire family. When you are with your American wife you argue if she wants to loan money to a family member but you would sell your mother to give money to a foreign woman. Nothing against foreign women but American women are more likely to be raised as mother and breadwinners even in a marriage. Most foreign women especially in the Philippines women may have a small job but more often homemakers. When they come to America their views change.
@@dannychristopher1967 I disagree. I disagree coz my wife was born in Canada, a successful woman, speaks 4 languages not including her 3 native languages and she is still a Filipina by heart and actions. It is about culture and upbringing.
@@user-uu2sr9tp6l thank you for your comment. I'm Filipina, been here in US for 30 some yrs. It did not changed me. In fact I learned to step in the doors of opportunities available for the sake of my own family. My American husband worked hard. I worked to help him, but never failed on my wife responsibilities like cooking, cleaning take care of the children. He is still the man of the house, but I am not limited to put in my opinion. I also decided to go to school to get my MBA to be able to get a better job, to help both of us to care for our children. There is a saying you get what you seek. He is still the man of the house. That's how I was raised..

The culture and her family really impact how the Philippina treats her man IMHO. Thank you for sharing part of your story, and for always telling it like it is. Glad you are living your dream brotherman.

My advice is don’t bring your Filipina to USA. This is the real story that heard in the pool of trolls. Most of my American friends told me the same story , Filipina always change when you bring her to USA. When you bring her to USA she always looks for opportunities to get a richer man , possibly a American sugar daddy plus a younger Filipina guy for sex and security. Once she found both she is out of your life with a big divorce settlement possibly half of your assets. My advice is don’t bring your Filipina to USA unless you’re willing to loose her with lots of pain and money. Most of the guys says I have been married for 10-20 years are written by scam artist, don’t fall for that traps.
Calvin, thank you for this discussion. You have a very good understanding of human nature. You also don't have a mean spirit. Relationships are difficult. I think there are a lot of factors that make it difficult to have a long term relationship in America but that's a whole different topic. I hope the third time is the charm for you.
Calvin Thanks for sharing your perspective. I could hear and see the pain from you. We men love differently then women, it makes sense when you figure out women's nature. I was married for 28 years and pretty much lost everything. Had to fight for 50% custody of my kids. I've been in three relationships since. 2 of them very serious. Both of those women decided to move without much of an explanation. I'm 58 as well and not sure I even want to try with women anymore. Maybe a filipina in her mid forties would suit me better. Thanks for your story.
Damm OG, I just turned 50 and you described my 20 year marriage to the tee! We had a 10year gap I wanted to settle down she wanted to turn up! Everything you said I mean everything! Described my relationship! You definitely put things in perspective for me! Thank you brother! Hope to meet you when I visit the Philippines. ✊🏿
What you said about remembering the good times is something I needed to hear myself. After 21 years, mostly good and the last few turning bad, I became bitter. Thanks man.
Alot of what you said sounds so familiar in my marriage to a filipina for 16 years. When they come to the U.S they are influenced by new friends here, the first 2 years of my marriage were like I was on my honeymoon, then it slowly fades away never to return sad to say.
Shalom Brotha from Kansas City Missouri, you have a beautiful family. I'll be 61 And of this year 2022 and my children are young adults now. I want so much to spend what days I have left in happiness Most High willing. My children have brought me nothing but joy and happiness.
I really appreciate your willingness to be so honest and transparent ', you keep it real talk about things we all really wanna know... thanks again bro....
Calvin, we can never control how people feel about us, especially women. For them it’s called “monkey branching”. Some women are always reaching for the next branch, hoping it will be better. And when they grab on to one branch they have to let go of the other. That’s also why they hate when the next branch isn’t as good. It makes them accountable for that decision, and can’t ever accept accountability for anything.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I don’t think I could have spoken about such personal memories without showing some emotions. It takes strength to do so. You’re stronger than I. Wishing you the best.
That's why I want to find a partner in the Philippines 🇵🇭😌: Many women in South Africa 🇿🇦 have also become too Westernized; Independence, Self-Pride and Overlooking respect towards a man have all become common factors in relationships nowadays. A woman who disclose her relationship issues to the world lack respect for the relationship and she doesn't realize that tomorrow the world will use what it knows about her against her. My favourite music Star Ali-Ollie Woodson in his song 🎵 "Drama in the Bedroom" talks about the importance of keeping privacy in house;..."No one else has to know". Women have one common behavioral pattern 🙄; the Tendency to erase all the good that happened yesterday and replace it with all the bad that's happening today. I have heard all the good news about Filipina woman and I will really like to give it a try. Thank you for the beautiful vlog once again. Stay safe, stay strong and stay blessed 🙏.
My Wife ran down to the bank and emptied both accounts, took the credit cards and maxxed them out. We go to divorce court and I can't get my money back, but I dont have to pay her alimony as long as I pay off the credit card. So in a year, I lived like a pauper, but I paid it all off.
Passport Bros are from all races & cultures. I am 61 and found a beautiful, widowed Filipina aged 53. Just one site has tens of thousands of Filipina women of all ages looking to marry a foreign man. Many have degrees and are well educated. My lady has 2 degrees & now lives with me in Australia. She has 2 adult children and weighs 59kg (130 pounds). We belong to a Filipina church in our local area. All the adult women are Filipina who are married to Australian men. All of the Australian men in the church are divorced from Australian women. All of these men have lost their wealth and their children through the family court system. These Filipina women have given these Australian men a second chance at life, and in some cases given these men children who are raised to respect their father. The contrast is unbelievable.
Was married when I was in the army, divorced and went to Philippines. Had a great girlfriend their from a great family then brought her to America and slowly saw her change to western values and then she left me after 3 years and ran off with another guy in a far away state. This time planning to stay in Philippines

I felt this. Don't know if there a soul or whatever but that's what I'm going with, I felt this video in mah soul. Everyone always asks why I would go through the hassle for a girl across the world instead of finding someone here in Arizona or even the states somewhere, but they just don't understand that it's different with a Filipina.. They're not spoiled like us Americans. They stay traditional. Their feeling are genuine and they don't play any games with their men. My respect for you skyrocketed through this video. Ps- ayyyeee, Filipina will do anything in bed, outside, in a taxi, etc etc I can vouch for that! 😂 I can't wait to finally live together with my love.
When I retire in four years, if I were to go to the Philippines and I met a girl and all that. I would absolutely spend 7 months in the Philippines and 5 months in America with her, we would go back and forth. I don't think I could just live in the Philippines forever because they just don't have some of the things and we have in America which I don't want to give up. Also I think it would be a great experience for her to visit America. Let's be honest, is it expensive in America? Yes but what you get for that expense is unmatched and there is no other country like America. So I would do the half and half thing. Modern convenances and medical care is unmatched here
What I have observed is for foreigners to be happy in the Philippines, they have to either adapt to the Philippine culture or determine how much of America they need to have in the Philippines. This means they will be spending more to have the same lifestyle as in America.
@@posdadtx I wrote this post awhile ago. I have researched and spoke to some expats and I have to say I feel I was maybe wrong in my statement. Hi Calvin sorry to hear how your marriages worked out. I was with my wife for 28 years and have 3 wonderful children and a gorgeous grandson as a result. But unfortunately like so many other marriages in 2014 it ended, but I can say that we now have a wonderful friendship where we are always there for each other emotionally and financially. We have travelled here and overseas together along with our children and still attend all family functions together. My brother married a filipino here in Australia 25 years ago and while most marriages of the people I know have failed theirs is still going. I`m still on my own worried about getting into another relationship and getting hurt again. Love your content and have become a subscriber God bless.

Thanks for the advice Calvin,. Have just went through something similar. A no win situation and yes it hurts, but it was intended to cause me pain. Most American women get to the point that they Think that they wear the pants. God bless her.
Calvin my name is Darrell. I was planning to move to the Philippines for 10 years now. I had no idea where would I be financially. Well everything has come in place for me. I'm finally retired with a residual income of 2,500 month US. That time has come for me. I'll be moving February 2023, I'm so excited about the move. I'm hoping to find a wife but I'm very patient when it comes to that. The things you're discussing was so my life here in the US. Have a wonderful for day and I hope to meet you soon
I've been married a few times now, have been alone for periods but I like to be with one lady at a time and I don't like to jump around, so I'm getting married and hope it lasts, my last wife is from the Philippines and we have now been married for 4 years she is 25 years younger than me but she is highly educated from the university and she does not come from a poor family so I have never paid anything to her family over these years. We had a little baby girl during the pandemic, something I hadn't expected, but life is good, and we moved home to Norway and will now live here and watch our daughter grow up. So we'd rather come down to visit when we have holidays from now on.
Old, yes, she's a simple woman to you then, but the new age next generation of Filipino women, especially the ones in the city, are not as simple as you think. They're becoming like the women in West. They expect more and more and more. As the Philippines develop and become a second world country, things are changed in my friend. It was lucky for you because you came there 20 years ago. It's a different time now.
Sadly, they are being a bit delusional at this juncture, as the majority are quite average (like everywhere), expecting way above average income that a foreigner brings. Interestingly, foreigners will compete for their attention, and many set their standards far too low (IMV). Eventually, more foreigners will wake up and sound the clarion that it's best to steer clear of these ladies, who are really just looking for a meal ticket (the ones with a Westernized/entitled attitude), and do their version of 'pump and dump' (i.e., milk foreigner resources and dump) on unwary/desperate men. It's like pushing the envelope too far, which always tends to happen. Many of these vlogs (not Calvin's) are doing guys a disservice by painting these women as innocent little angels. They are nothing of the sort.

And it just gets better every day. The sweetest , loving , hardest working women I've ever met.I guess it wasnt just my wife in america..I guess its the culture that makes women in american so hard. God bless and take care.....one more thing...no one...not even my children got my side of the story.I wish them all the best.
I was with a Canadian woman for 7 years and she used to talk with other people about our personal business. That always really annoyed me.
Personal business should between two people an that should not be shared that’s why it’s called personal.I will get annoyed too.
Cool video Calvin, loved it.
Looking forward to seeing there rebuild of homes in the mountains/ province.
I'll continue to watch you vlogs and not skip adds.
Cheers from down under Australia 🇦🇺
My Filipino fiance is amazing and the best thing that ever happened to me. We have a 14 year age gap which seems to be perfect for us. If you are in your 60's and are planning on being a 25 year old Filipino to America you are asking for trouble. Find a good Filipino women with a reasonable age gap and she will stay with you through thick and thin.
Been with my American wife for 23 years. She is a gentle soul. I think there are good and shitty women no matter where you go. Most often you have to look in the mirror and fix yourself first before you can find what you need.
I was looking for a smart comment like this. 👏🏽👏🏽.
Most men don’t step up to the plate but rather moan and groan all day long
🙌🏽🙌🏽
I really like this channel and your approach to things like this, I was very happily married 38+ yrs to a woman who was 14 yrs older than me,I lost her to Alzheimer's almost 2 yrs ago, I wish I could travel and meet a Filipina woman to share the rest of my life with, please keep up the good work !!
My condolences Carl.
Thanks Cal. Another great vlog. I appreciate you. Your points are well-taken..."Life is a school. Live and learn."
The culture and her family really impact how the Philippina treats her man IMHO. Thank you for sharing part of your story, and for always telling it like it is. Glad you are living your dream brotherman.
Im one of the foreigners that didn't marry a very young pinay,, just 4 yr age gap. Best woman in my life 🇺🇲🇲🇽❤🇵🇭✌good channel
your wife just open the door behind u and when she notice that u was doing a video, she closed it..your wife is beautiful sunshine
You are making me want to move to the Philippines 👍🏻
Welcome
Calvin thank you so so much for them video. I’m 57 on my second marriage in American. After18 with her we are heading for divorce. I want to take my life to the Philippines and restart my life over with a Filipino woman. I want the simple less stressful life. It truly a rat race in America
Paul, find the right Pinay and you'll be a very happy man.
Calvin, thank you for this discussion. You have a very good understanding of human nature. You also don't have a mean spirit. Relationships are difficult. I think there are a lot of factors that make it difficult to have a long term relationship in America but that's a whole different topic. I hope the third time is the charm for you.
You're right Stan relationships are hard and no one tells us that when we are young, everything is a fairytale.
Wow! This is 1 of the most VALUABLE talks i have ever heard ! Thank you Calvin my man! 🤔
What you said about remembering the good times is something I needed to hear myself. After 21 years, mostly good and the last few turning bad, I became bitter. Thanks man.
What's up Shawn. Yeah they pretend the good times never happened. Happy New Year!
Excellent Idea to go into the mountain to help with the rebuild. Beautiful. Blessings to them and you brother.
Thanks brother you're a blessing and hope 2022 is a great year for you and your wife!
You know, I stumbled on your channel and it hits hard the words you are speaking from the heart and from a place of truth. Thank you
Passport Bros are from all races & cultures.
Calvin, good that ur still positive about life. Tks for being so honest!
Sounds like my first marriage.
You are right on target.
I have these memories popping up as you speak.
Was married when I was in the army, divorced and went to Philippines. Had a great girlfriend their from a great family then brought her to America and slowly saw her change to western values and then she left me after 3 years and ran off with another guy in a far away state. This time planning to stay in Philippines

The same thing happened to me Bri.G
You want real genuine Pinay? Take one who does not insist going to the west.
My wife uses exactly the same words...lol
@@semi5alpha Wise words...
As a young men of 24.. thank you deeply for your life stoy man. i needed it.
Good info - and that’s my experience as well. Got some more direct questions for you when you have time. Thanks!
C, my 2021 New Year's resolution was to give up on going to the closed PH. This video is exactly what I needed to get me back on track and give me and your other subscribers renewed hope for a better retirement life. Thanks for being a friend to us and giving us another 5 star video!!!!!
Don’t give up hang in there the better retirement is yet to come.I wish i could share my “balikbayan privilege “ i would share it to anybody who wants to go to Philippines 🇵🇭.Don’t loose hope Philippines can’t stay closed any longer they can’t afford it.So fingers crossed before the elections will open up.
Appreciate you sharin with us Cavin. All of us who been married once before in the west been through similar situations. Thanks for the Nitty gritty. Keep it up!
Thanks Carl and happy New Year!
Happy new year brother Calvin, wishing you and your family the very best for 2022
The "cookie monster." Had to laugh about that one. Appreciate your vids, man.
Keep up the great work bro and try not to worry about the haters because there is always going to be haters but there's only 1 you...you do you 🙏🏽👍🏾👍🏾
I felt this.
Cookie monster haha you kill me !!!!
Keep going Calvin entertaining!!
Can you explain the things in America you didn't want to give up plz
@@posdadtx I wrote this post awhile ago. I have researched and spoke to some expats and I have to say I feel I was maybe wrong in my statement. I was very materialistic and I think now the saying of you won't remember the things you didn't buy you remember the things you did and relationships you had. I hope to travel and stay in the Philippines for a few months. But I definitely feel I need to experience it first hand before commenting
Are u retire now😜
I will doing the same dual residency .
I am glad you find your Happiness and Sunshine in the Filipino..
I love the video Calvin, and I agree w/ you. Have you seen the movie A Fatherless America? If not, Google the guy that made the movie & you can see his other works. He talks about the same kind of stuff. He's the first "mens rights activist" I've ever heard of or watched.
Wow, a truthful youtuber. Keep it up, I am a subscriber now.
Thanks and welcome to my channel
SS, you are a man of truth. Really appreciate you doing this one.
Great talk....such insight that is so relatable for many of us. Keep'n it real.
I'm going through a divorce and your story is so similar to mine. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm going to the Philippines in September to see what's out there. Thank you so much!
Wisdom from Calvin . Great story , a keeper , thanks . Great advice .
thanks for doing this video. some very personal stuff there that is the core of the relationship. i have been to the Philippines in the '80's and a few of my mates married girls there. (Gary - New Zealander)
Calvin….you keep making good content dude….I can relate and attest to every thing you have said 💪🏻
Hi Calvin sorry to hear how your marriages worked out.
Find woman on their late 30’s atleast, they are mostly mature, find ones who live in the rural area/province they still are conservative and less liberated
"I became the cookie monster" Man, lol, I started laughing so hard.
😅😅😅
Same story as mine man I can’t wait to meet a Filipino wife
that was very honest and personal - and valuable to me. thank you
Wow! I love the way you explain things especially about relationships. Listening to you explain relationships tactfully is like reading Mark Twain. I really think you should write a book about relationship differences between American and Filipino women. You could make it a novel and throw in all kinds of Life experiences. It would probably be a best-seller👍👌
Thanks Richard ☺️
I will be the first one to buy it
I live in Hawaii and I just love the word Filipina❤️
A lot to unpack in this video. Excellent video bro. Real talk in this video.
Ya gotta love your videos man. Keep up the good work.
Cookie Monster!!! That's funny, Calvin. My Filipina makes me real glad that I'm a man. I feel you brother.
If things ever get to the point where you find yourself begging, it's simply time to say ADIOS.
Thank you very much for your sharing and true honesty.
Nick
CALVIN ... YOU ARE ONE OF THE VERY BEST ... I WILL EVENTUALLY MEET YOU .. I HAVE BEEN IN AND OUT OF PINAS SINCE 1982 ... FIRST FILIPINA FIANCEE GOT TO HOT WHEN I BROUGHT HERE TO CALIFORNIA ... ..CALIFORNIA BOY HERE
Yep, I can relate to your story about your first wife. It was the same song with me, just a different verse. This is why guys are so gun-shy about marriage, it is dangerous for the guy in America.
No up side at all.
Oh man what a great channel. I like this guy, he’s keeping it real.
That was an excellent video Calvin, thankyou for sharing different aspects of your life,,,,,,many blessings for you in this new year, stay well
Calvin, i just wanted to wish you a happy new year, and thank you for your positive attitude, your interesting videos and points of vue, always fresh and real.
And that is a beautiful photo of you and your family, i wish you and them continued happiness, brother.
Charlie
Thank you!
That’s interesting. I can relate to a lot of what you are saying. I’m 58 too. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Brother I love your channel! I've been to the Philippines 3 times and will be back after the pandemic. I'd love to get together next time I visit!
Thanks Les it will be my pleasure to meet you.
Thanks for the advice Calvin,. Have just went through something similar. A no win situation and yes it hurts, but it was intended to cause me pain. Most American women get to the point that they Think that they wear the pants. God bless her.
Great vlog brother Calvin. Personal, revealing and informing. Stay well and blessed.
Wow great video brother very sincere, thanks for sharing I think it will resonate with many men..
Your a good man, thank you brother. God is watching.
That was the best talk I've seen in a real long time!!!
And I mean from anyone.
I'm m going to stay single been married before don't want the headache
