When you live in an area where a lot of Filipinos already live, like Seattle, it’s far less of a circus when you bring a Filipina to town. We even have Jollibee’s, Red Ribbon, and Chowking here. The 2020 Washington State census counted 195,000 Filipinos living here. It looks like Kentucky only has 6,000 Filipinos.

If a man is to marry a foreigner, I strongly advise you keep her in the home Country next to family, and NOT bring them to the US. Just too many temptations and no one to keep her in check!
If it is not the constant bombardment from thirsty guys, it other females prodding to leave and find someone better.
Nothing but headaches, and then she starts believing all of it. You are still on the hook for three years, and once she gets the green card she is ready to monkey branch. They will soon find their sexual marketplace value is greatly increased from perception from the homeland.
Not saying all, but your risk of divorce or cheating is greatly increased.

A young, pretty Filipina's sexual marketplace value goes through the roof when they come to America. There is no way that they can be prepared for the amount of male attention they are going to received. What I found interesting when I brought my Filipina to America was how she went from mature and sure of herself to being immature, like a duck out of water. Being in their own country is optimal for them. They experience so many first in America that they kind of become childish in a way. There was an eight-year age gap between me and my wife. When we were in the Philippines, it was not noticeable, and I felt we were equals. When we were in America, it often felt like I was raising a teenager, and it did not feel as though we were equal. What your Filipina wife/girlfriend is in the Philippines is not what she is and will be in America. That's where the gamble is. You may or may not like what she will become and there are a lot of factors that do not play in your favor. Other Americanized Filipinas WILL coach her and there is nothing you can do about it. She is going to find them, and they are going to befriend her. It is only natural. Yes, there are success stories out there, but there are also far too many unsuccessful stories. If you bring them to the US, it is a coin flip on whether you will make it as a couple. Keeping her in the Philippines has a much, much greater chance of success.

The problem is most men go for the prettiest Filipina they can find and put very little value on character. Then they blame the Filipina when they're the one who made the choice. If you're 50 do you really need a girl in her 20's? If you're interest in her is superficial you'll have a superficial relationship. I would suggest you avoid the extremely attractive ones. Even here if you try to date some model looking girls men will be hitting on her all the time. This is a thirsty country.
Ask yourself why you want a wife? To raise children? To grow old with? A trophy? A sex toy? Some men are looking for a trophy and sex toy and not a genuine relationship.

And the price of a super attractive wife is that men will be constantly hitting on her. And if she's not loyal and mature then she'll upgrade to richer, younger, or better looking guy. If you're looking for a loyal and loving wife skip the beauty contest girls. Find a solid girl of good character. You can identify them by how they're a blessing to the people around them. It goes both ways. Way back in 2007 I met a Filipina girl at a friends wedding in the States that recently arrived from Cebu. She was beautiful! Also well spoken, charming, and definitely a head turner. She was really flirting with me. I know that I didn’t need the extra complication since I was in the middle of a divorce, but I figured what the heck. It turns out that she was MARRIED and the guy was at the wedding. He was a younger guy, but really goofy. A few weeks after the wedding her friend approached me, telling me that her friend liked me and wasn’t happy in her new marriage. As beautiful as she was, I said no thanks. If my situation was different, I probably would have dove in head first. Her and her husband soon separated. The last that I heard is that she’s still living in the States and her white husband moved to the Philippines. I can’t ask current details because my girlfriend now is friends with her friend that approached me.

@lmcc0072 Wow, that is crazy. Some Filipinas that come to the states lose pride in themselves. Everyone and everything is fair game to them. To much conflict.

Facts! It is bad man... it never happened to me, because I would never in a million years bring a Filipina back to the states. Just as Calvin explained the same thing happened to my cousin. Bought his Filipina wife back to the U.S., guys were all over her at work. Literally rescheduling their breaks, to strategically match with hers. They knew she was already married, but it made no difference at all. Men were blatantly starring her down in public, in front of him, with zero shame. Also had a few stalkers in the neighborhood they lived in. It is truly deplorable the thirst level of men in the U.S. these days. Seriously... it is a hidden crisis. I am convinced it can happen anywhere in the U.S., but it is worse in areas that don't have large Asian populations. The Filipinas are viewed as extra exotic, and lusted after by guys with Asian fetishes. To the point of stalking.

I never had any problems with anyone when my wife came here to the US on a K-1 Visa. My wife wouldn't put up with any of that crap that your wife was going through Calvin. I talked to my wife for at least three years before we met as we both wanted to get to know each other. Any time she went to the doctor I went with her, not that I didn't trust her, but because she didn't have any way to get to the doctor. My wife also didn't wear things that would have people looking at her all of the time. I'm not sure why any loving man would want their wives or fiances to wear things that would get them unwanted attraction but if they do then they have to learn how to deal with it. I also feel that most guys know that the women in the Philippines don't care about age or looks so the guys go looking for young sexy women and then they get angry when their ladies get the looks from other men. If you know how the men are in the area are about hitting on women regardless if those guys know that they're with someone then it might be best to find another place to live. My wife has been here for 10 years and is a US citizen. Every place and everyone is different and we live in the Los Angeles area where there are lots of Filipinos. Eventually I want to move to Florida because there's too much crime and too many crazy things that happen out here plus things are cheaper in Florida.

From a selfish standpoint, if you bring your Filipina girlfriend/wife to the USA you’re probably going to have to go back to work if you were already retired in the Philippines. Another thing is that your Filipina will go from an average girl back home to an exotic beauty in the States. She’s going to be getting a lot of attention from younger and maybe wealthier guys than you. If she doesn’t have good moral values, that could be a potential problem. There are the Filipinas that intend to use you for a Green Card and support until they’re able to leave you. Yes it happens. Of course, every situation is different. My father brought my mother back to the USA from the Philippines in 1966. They were married for 50 years until he passed away. I know of a lot of other situations that didn’t work out like that too. In fact, most didn’t work out especially in the most recent past.

Dogs will be dogs. It doesn’t matter whether the woman is foreign or American. It’s amazing to watch a dog sit right next to another man and covet that other man’s woman right out in the open. Having lived life now on multiple socioeconomic levels and witnessed the behaviors of men on each level I can say this. A dog never stops allowing his small head govern his actions first and foremost. So the challenge of every responsible man is to keep the women in his life as far away from dogs as humanly possible. This means at some early point in adulthood one must separate out from among the dogs-even if some are friends and relatives. When you decide to bring a woman into your life you must do everything possible to buffer her from any contact with dogs. If she is a good woman she will work in partnership with you to keep any dogs as far from your relationship as possible. Too many men fail to discern if the potential girlfriend or wife is a “relationship seeker” or an “asset/financial security seeker.” The first kind of woman will work to bond strongly with her man such that only the most dramatic events can separate them and will stay for better or worse as long as she is not being abused. The second kind of woman will trade up/ trade in even at mere hint she might be able to get a better deal. The nationality of the woman is incidental to this measurement.

When I was stationed in the Philippines from 1988 to 1991. Towards the end of 1990 all the women in the Philippines were getting really aggressive in trying to get sailors to marry them. They knew with the base closing down, the gravy train to the USA was going to close for good. I knew a lot of guys that got married in 1991 and they regretted their decision. Their wives just hanged out with the other Filipino bar girls in San Diego. When the husband went to sea, their Filipino wives where at the base clubs , picking up sailors. Who they slept with in the Philippines. When the ships were deployed to San Diego. A lot of them got divorced, the wife couldn't care less because. She was only interested in the idea of marrying to get to the Philippines, not actually loving or caring for her individual who they married.

Brought my Thai wife to America almost 15 years ago. It was a bit of an adjustment for her but she did fine. Started her own store and built it into a nice business which she sold for a nice profit!. She’s college educated and speaks, reads and writes English very well. She is 31 years younger than me and it’s never been a problem for us. She was even asked to do modeling for some major ad agencies and acted as our videographer while I was on tour with The Miracles for a few years. Now after 11 years we moved back to Thailand financially very secure and living a great life where I still play music at the highest levels. She is also expecting our first baby, a girl, in July after being told for years she could not have children. So I know what I’m doing the rest of my life and I find that incredibly meaningful and exciting. I can’t even imagine “retiring” in the traditional sense. We don’t need the money but I love what I do as a pro bassist and will never give that up. She also loves that I’m a musician and is my biggest fan! My advice is always have something to do that gives your life meaning. Otherwise the boredom in your later years will kill you eventually.

I had decided long ago I’m not bringing a Filipina back to the United States, I don’t care how people think about it. First of all, the majority of the Filipinas I’ve met in the Philippines are attractive, and work for the medical industry. (which a lot of Filipinas will work for, especially if you’re dealing with the ones of a little higher quality) Can you imagine bringing a hot Filipina nurse back to the United States, her getting a job at Kaiser, and getting hit on by every doctor and senior nurse in the building? Men she’s working with day and day out, making $200,000-$300,000 a year, trying their best to get your woman.
I understand everyone is supposed to have confidence, but there’s no point in just putting your girl in the middle of the candy store and walking away. I will keep my relationship in the Philippines, thank you very much.

Calvin your advice is good for any man wherever he is with any attractive woman. Age is not even a barrier if she is really physically attractive. Everyone likes compliments, men and women but how we respond and the effect it has makes a big difference. Men are designed to pressure women and when the right combination is reached for that particular woman she will stop resisting and create a vacuum for the man to achieve his goal. We are not rational information processing beings. All of us get to face temptations that we have to resist depending on our level of discipline. Without discipline there will be chaos and conflict.

When I Lived in San Diego they were called: West PAC Widows. When the boys were away (Navy) the girls would play…😮. Most of the girls had been brought here from Subic bay bars during the roaring Navy days in PI.

My 2 cents, As you said it seems to be a problem of Louisville, specifically. I hardly doubt that if you were living in a big city like NY, LA, Chicago, SF Boston and other ones more cosmopolitan, that would be a problem that big. Of course a very attractive woman always calls the attention of men, but it seems that the small town or hick town mentality tends to aggravate the situation. Also, i must say that that town you live now in Philippines, seems to be pretty cozy, although some painting and minor repairs seem to be needed in some houses, Im amazed that there is no trash at all on the streets. Not like where I live, Orlando.

I am sorry about what happened to you coming back to the States. I married a Phillipina 39 years ago. Came to the USA with her. She is still with me. And in a few years when she is able to get her retirement we will be moving back to the Philippines. At first we ran into that issue, but she was great in how she handled it. Thanks for the video.

I've even "ran into that issue" in her country already, once with two older rich foreigners (separate cases), and once with a flipino her age who kept trying to be near her eye-fing her at a pool and he KNEW I was with her.

It's the only way, for real.
Unless you find out she's inviting it....be careful your woman isn't lying to you...
Then you're in jail for the horse manure coming out of her mouth
And realise it could all be an actual plan to get rid of you, squeaky clean. A whirlwind of deceit
DV laws in most Western nations would provide her residency by protection, due to her claimed DV... which they will believe if you've even attacked someone else in relation to something happening with her.
      Don't fall for this bs.

Friend of mine brought a 15 year old PH daughter to central Florida. . She is a citizen, her mother not. In school, she refused the endless advances. Well they harassed her like you can't believe. It was hell for her.
