Turn off the locked active apps by default under your edit tiles settings when you pull down the notification until you see the 3 dots. That's why you can't close them apps my friend. I had 4 on by default on my OnePlus Open.
Agree with the wireless charging. I'm a blue collar worker who definitely always have a case on. So are hundreds of my co-workers. Unless you have a case that extends the magnetism for the wireless charging, the bulky cases take away the efficiency of wireless. I see all these phone reviewers gripe about the lack of the feature, but us common people don't get to have 20 phones a years to beta test and swap to another when one breaks. This is a phone that I planned to use for the next 4+ years (crossing fingers), the case will stay.

OxygenOS is pretty solid & I'm sure you'll love it. Mind you OnePlus also uses it's sister company Oppo's ColourOS in some devices (or mixture of both) Not a fan of ColorOS, it's ok but not as good as Oxygen imo

I LoVe 1+ skin just try it trust me RUclipsrs needed something to complain about phones were entirely too good so they grabbed 1+ & ran it's super smooth very clean fluent UI no stutters like with oneUI I hope you try it!!!

It's like buying a cashmere e sweater by a high street brand and comparing it to a Tom ford one...same product but you have to recognise that there is always going 5o be a premium to be paid for certain brands
I dont accept that fast charging excuses no wireless charging. My current Xiaomi 13 ultra does 90w wired and 50w wireless with the same giant camera bump so it's an objective downgrade.
It's a great foldable, but I'm biased as I used OnePlus up to the 7 Pro & I know they are pretty solid. I'm mixed about wireless charging, whilst I've never used it myself, I know many who use handsets at this price point who do use them. And those folk who are paying top end flagship prices just expect it as default. Tbh OnePlus was never big into wireless charging on their devices anyway, so no real surprise. Nonetheless beautiful foldable, my wife is upgrading to it from Fold 3 as she uses foldables via work (who thankfully pay for them too 😅 !)

After shooting photos with the open...they look really good. They are on the softer end of the spectrum, but i have been able to get some really awesome shots with it

Is wireless charging really so popular? I'm from Romania and i live in Germany since 2019 and I swear to God i haven't seen a single wireless charger anywhere, nor do I know any single soul that uses it... Everyone is charging via cable and I find it soooo much better and faster. The only thing i use my wireless charging capability of my phone is when I need to reverse charge my wireless earbuds when I'm out. It is very convenient when you forget to check your headphones battery. But that's honestly the only thing i use it for. And even as a tech savy guy, I still wouldn't use wireless chargers when I have the option of topping off at half the tiime, I don't really neet to create a huge electromagnetic field all throughout my house just because I'm too lazy to connect a usb port lol, we have enough of that from all the gadgets we already use
Not at single friend of mine uses it and they have plenty of cash using the best newest phones yet not a single friend has one so idk how popular they are I know there not popular with my ppl 😂

There are certainapps that are locked by default, you need to go into settings and make sure to untoggle the apps so they can be closed.

You have to turn off keep apps open in home screen settings, and then all of the apps will be closed by that button! I hope this helps :)
