"The people of -Canada- Austria are going to love being a part of -America- Germany. If we unify, think what a great country that would be!
"Denmark needs to understand that -Greenland- Jutland has a very major geostrategic importance. We need to have military bases there, even if the people of Denmark want to maintain neutrality. They need to give us bases in -Greenland- Jutland."
"The -Panama Canal- City of Danzig was built and developed by -Americans- Germans. It always belonged to -America- Germany, and we need to take it back, by force if necessary"

A bully is in full control as long as everyone else is too scared to stand up to them. The reality is that the US is in steep decline, and I live here. Yes and no. Average US citizens are weak but US billionaires are stronger than ever. US citizens are politically weak but the President has never had more power. This is similar to russia where the people suffer and the elite swim in money and power. The elite in the US are Donald, Elon and others who claim they care for the average citizen, lol! However MAGA claims that the elite are anyone with education and intellect.

I'm American, I can tell you right now the best thing that all of Europe and its worldwide territories can do is stand together with an unmoveable show of force because mark my words this is his and Putin's plan to surround Europe on both the Eastern an Western fronts. Our Senate is the only firewall left and the filibuster is the only thing holding the line and it will not hold for long. I heard one of our MAGAt Senators talking about manifest destiny today, the last time that term was being tossed around here it was at the expense of the lives of native American tribes and people of Mexico that were already here. The people of Scotland know all to well what he did to them, he will try to do the same to the people of Greenland, Canada, Mexico and then eventually whatever he and Putin believe they can carve up in Europe. The MAGAts are religious Theocrats and they have become emboldened in the belief that God has called upon Dur Fuhrer tRUMPler to do his work.

About 50 million Americans have stopped participating in Elections.
The Vote counting machinery is produced by Companies that are supported by Investors who buy their Stock.
The return on investment that a $15+ billion business appears to provide, does not appear mentioned in Commercial Media that Investors also own.
The ability to buy the names that appear on a Ballot was described pretty well in the 2016 go-round.
When Robert Gates became a Board Member of a software firm that checks the results of Vote Counting Machines, I lost all hope that the US Electoral process had any element of Democracy involved in it.
I have attended many Caucus meetings and 4 Conventions, I have seen how the system works.
I am not simply another crybaby punk whining about corruption as I was in 1968.
The US is not any form of Democracy.

It's so sad to say that Trump has critics when he's only trying to put his best foot forward. He has worked hard all his life to get where he is, plus, the country is ready to turn the page for something brand new.
Many friends and neighbors wait with baited breath for the re-entrance or re-emergence if you will of America's Matriarch-Melania Trump. In fact, our little sewing club out here near Des Moines, which consists mainly of retired school marms who taught in the for-profit private sector, plan to make Melania inspired leopard print shawls which they one day hope to be able to sell on the home shopping network. As positive as this might seem, they say that there could be many potential pitfalls due to the American public's propensity to become easily distracted by news shows such as, "Adderall Hour with Judge Jeanine" and/or "Mouthing Platitudes with Piers Morgan". But, in light of this, they've recently met with a young and handsome lobbyist out of DC who shits dollar bills and SUV's to discuss the market potential for their Melania inspired shawls. He said that they shouldn't be so preoccupied about the public's propensity for distraction, and if they only hurry, in due time they will be able to outsource shawl production to a facility manned by Eskimos in Trump's Greenland.
So, many can't understand the negativity when entrepreneurship is evidently on the rise in the good ol' USA!

It's worth noting that Trump interestingly targets his most open public attacks against countries that specifically hold large values of US bonds in their government treasuries.
The UK, China, Canada all hold disproportionately large valuations of dollar reserves. Japan as well, and in his first term he was very vocal about "making Japan pay for US military support".
I'm sure he will refocus his attention on that again via hot Taiwan "debates" eventually.
My only explanation is that he attempts to destabilize countries through his toxic rhetoric and threats in an attempt to pull back some leverage for his own public position (ie attacking those who could potentially ask for the most favours from the US).

He's not talking about " electoral reform" but watch out for massive new gerrymandering and disenfranchising moves in an attempt to avoid the GOP getting trashed at the midterms.

The only silver lining is that this is likely to push the UK closer to rejoining the EU. Also, remember the backclash caused a few years ago when the Tories were talking about the idea of UK becoming the 51st state of the US and then that idea got shelved as a result. Also, Badenoch is terrible at politics and Starmer keeps schooling her, so it's only really Farage we have to worry about. Plus the EU are keen on a security deal with the UK, so effectively we would join the EU in protecting our territories.

    • @davidowen2859

I'd like to think your correct but we have plenty of Trump supporters in the UK and our politics has become so divisive its difficult to predict which way the population would go.
People unfortunately believe what they read. I've already witnessed people I know calling for Jess Phillips to be removed. Even after pointing out and physically showing evidence that before becoming an MP she ran a women's refuge centre and has championed womens rights most of her life they still believed Musks vial rhetoric. I'm afraid I'm not hopeful for our country.

Trump is still hugely unpopular in the UK and while I definitely agree that our politics is divisive, the longer term trends is that Labour is losing voters more to the Lib Dems and Green Party as was pointed by Sir John Curtis and younger people more support the Lib Dems and Green Party if they are fed up of Labour.

I long ago recognised that the growing inquality of income and wealth was a political choice and not inevitable. Understanding money and tax helps you see clearly. You demonstrated in a video alternative budget that we could properly resource public services with fair tax increases on the wealthy, and in other presentations you have exposed the fallacy of austerity government and failed monetary policies. Please keep up the good work. Trumpism may plunge millions into further economic decline, but we haven't yet passed the tipping point. In the absence of such a law, Denmark would be bound by its own constitution to defend Greenland. Would the USA really go to war with Denmark (as Argentina did with the UK over the Falkland Islands)? I suspect they would, and I suspect that the EU would help in the same way it has helped Ukraine, even though Ukraine is not a member of any military alliance with Europe.
