HUGE mistake. But this deep into the season, someone will need to step up or it will be too late. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Not sure about that. Bananas is winning every elimination he goes into and Jordan is winning every daily when it matters. Both are really playing their best game this season.
Josh losing still for some reason gives me pleasure, also I always here him talk about if he finally wins and gets the money, he won Big Brother? He got the money already, what happened to it. I do sometimes feel bad for Josh but he honestly isn’t good at this, he is awful in competitions and even worse in eliminations. When he gets far it’s because his relationships got him there, I hope he keeps doing it so we can continue to watch the train wreck unfold but for his own sake he should take a break.
I’m late getting into this season, but seeing this challenge made me think how cool it would’ve been if for season 40 they brought back challenges from seasons past or new versions of favorite challenges.
I'm amazed that Rachel didn't consider having Bananas go into the elimination to win, that way Bananas would be able to protect the rest of the Angels instead of having Cory nominate two of them as targets.
Thats why you don’t play this game… lmao like he would protect Rachel moving forward after that??? This game doesn’t work that way and Rachel knows it better than you trust me.
Aside the fact Josh is poor athletically and is below average in puzzles, he won't ever make/win a final because he plays the Challenge just like Big Brother. Trying to please everyone and not taking a side. It's screws him over every single time.
I really liked this elimination and hope they use it again as it is a physical elimination suitable for many body types. I really liked the overhead shots. You could see Cory has had previous experience running this type of spring, his acceleration is amazing. Josh obviously does not know how to run or race properly. Was anyone in any doubt at all that Cory would win?
No but with the Challenge shit happens and you're like wtf?! I was so ecstatic that I could breathe again when Corey officially won buy I sure as hell cheered through the entire elim
Thank you Drew Brother for your review! I love when the OG's still are doing well in this game so proud of Rachel and Derek and special shoutout to Cory getting his 3rd elimination win this season!
I have a love/hate relationship with Josh. I've never once heard him talk strategy in a daily or elimination. And to go into this last elimination "at peace" was the worst mentality to have. While you were at peace, Cory was ready to go to war. Josh seriously needs to develop that killer instinct.... and coordination. Given his height and length, there is absolutely no reason why he should have been the last man in the daily. Mentally he just folds under the most crucial moments. I wish him well and that he can come back with a more strategic AND aggressive mindset.
I really enjoyed Josh this season, I really want to see him do well and you can definitely seen some growth from him. Props to him for giving the elimination a go with like 16 stitches in his knee.
10:11 i literally cried during this conversation, nelly t deserved to be there. He never gave up. He showed up for so many seasons. 11:31 cory smiled hard because he knew he has this elimination in the bag 💰
Rachel don't rewrite history. It is enough that for this season you and Bananas are working together and both of you have kept your words to each other and the partnership has been beneficial to you both.
Really. When she praised him I was getting anxious she was going to do some insane turn coat move on him. When it was all so deeply sincere, my frown was so deep... ☹️😵💫🤢
I have two issues with this episode: 1. Aviv and Tori both hit two targets, I would've given both of them the penalty (I guess Aviv being 5 feet barely nudged her targets i guess she did worse) 2. In the end, where TJ tells Josh about the karma votes, he's foaming at the mouth only for him to give Bananas, Tori & Rachel 5s, and everyone else 1s.
I am guessing it was timing based by that I mean Tori hit her Two targets earlier than Aviv did... Tbf they should have had T.J explain why Aviv was last.
We are on opposite sides for this review. I liked the elimination and thought the daily was repetitive. I’m tired of the trucks. Hopefully we get to see this elimination again with other people that can scrap.
It's all good. I think it's good to differ in opinions. I didn't think the elimination was bad. If anything I wish they would've edited it better. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Michele is great at playing the victim card. She relies heavily on the numbers game. She did it in season 39 and survived on numbers this season. She also somehow only gets puzzle eliminations that play to her 1 strength
I imagine it’ll be 4 guys/girls in finals so I hope they do something different for the last elimination. Perhaps no targets and the last place guy & girl go in and the winners pick one each and they compete as a PAIR this time
Josh is the only person to have a negative elimination record on both The Challenge and Big Brother, which makes sense until you realize that the regular Big Brother has vote offs… not eliminations.
The flashback clips shown at the beginning of the episodes have foreshadowed something in most episode. With the Hunter clip, I expected to see some sort of injury. It was nice to see Derek do so well in this one.
You know, I’m not going to slam on Josh. This is by far his best season, and he’s stayed out of the house drama. Seems to mature. I don’t see a path for him ever winning a final, but for the first time there’s some growth
Cool episode. First, Nother Trucker daily was great; congratulations to Derek for his performance. Also, sucks that Josh as injured, but it wouldn't have mattered considering he would've needed at least 9 targets to avoid last. Second, Rachel calling Bananas a good guy is interesting to say the least- seems like Bananas got away with quite a bit during that era of the Challenge. Moreover, Cory chopping it up with Nelson on the call was a chill moment. The Coming From Behind elimination was pretty good; Cory is faster than Josh, and that's really it (clean sweep). All in all, next week's daily challenge looks interesting, but the elimination seems like it will be Aviv vs Jenny.
Love your videos drew! ❤ i only have one irl friend who Watches the challenge with me (we have watch parties at my place) so only have her to talk to about it. Then watching your videos is like chatting/watching with another friend. 😅❤
Rachel was definitely working overtime making sure bananas was not going to be in this elimination and it worked out brilliant for her. The second thing is love that this episode showed the adversity that Cory and Josh go through in this and is trying to win the million dollar and not for them but for there families and loved ones.
I'm not a Corey fan but I hope he wins. I don't like when people win or make it to the Finals without going into an elimination. I also don't like when people are thrown in all the time. He definitely deserves a spot in the Finals
Josh Record 7 Total Season Six Main Season 22 daily wins! Elimination Record: 1-7 Only elimination one victory! Zeros Finals He has more wins then Tyri! I don’t know if that’s good or bad! Hopefully this end the challenge weird obsession with this man!
Johnny is so starved for attention its hard to watch. Thank God Josh went home this episode!! The two of them were so painful to watch. Josh does 3 things suck at challenges, stab his friends in the back and cry contantly. I am so happy Cory sent the Goof Home!!
Josh: I love you like family Cory: You gotta start treating me like family Josh: 🥴 I kNoW mAn . . Josh: I’m going to give bananas a five and the other guys get one
I mean that come from behind elimination and Cory beating Josh in this elimination. Cory won this elimination not for himself but also for his family and daughter who has open heart surgery and for Nelson who got into a car accident and got his leg amputated you can tell Cory was wearing a heavy heart after being in his third elimination.
Hot take, the Nelson moment was extremely icky. It felt like they tried to give him a hero overcoming obstacle La edit, when he chose to drunk drive and could’ve looked himself or someone else. MTV Could’ve used this as a great PSA for drunk driving but instead swiped it under the rug
Josh finally couldn't skate anymore and had to go into elimination and lost, figures. It may be true he was injured but even at 100% he is no match for Cory. I was worried Cory could lose because the last season he was on played out similarly. He won a few eliminations but had one too many and lost to Logan. But Cory is my dark horse to win this season, it's the most locked in I've seen him and people not having his back seems to be lighting that fire under him. Plus he wants to redeem Nelson and what he did for him a few seasons ago. Of course Bananas is not gonna remember when he was not so nice to Rachel and this season Rachel has given Bananas a pass just to get ahead and that deserves a little credit since she's gotten far. In her own right she's basically the best female, but working with him pretty much assures her a spot in the final. Impressive showing by Derek but respectfully I just don't see him winning the final, just was the kind of challenge for him this episode. The trailer for the next episode looks tough and the dq is crazy, can't wait to see who it is. It would be nice if it was Bananas since he is such a jerk but we will see.
I loved this elimination. Yes it may seem one sided to speed, but there's different strategies that could have been played like waiting back and going the opposite way through the opening. Also, using more brute strength, I think Josh did not change up his strategy in this elim.
Im so sick of Josh crying about not making it like YOU NEED TO PERFORM ATHLETICALLY. And Aviv saying "I cant catch a break"...youve had one ofvthe biggest in the season - NOT going into elimination. Its been DECADES, you need to prove yourself again 🤷🏿♀️
Seriously that annoyed me. First you've been doing amazing but second and most importantly you haven't gone into elimination nor been a target but the one time in the beginning in the game woman!!!
J'oneesa does do good confessionals. J'oneesa is the Bananas of Confessionals, no matter the subject J'oneesa pivots with no shame or remorse and gives full heartfelt confessionals.
Its mind blowing how Rachel vows to protect Johnny when on the Island AND battle of the exes he came after her multiple times even calling her a snake and not trustworthy 🙄 and also how can we forget johnny tried turning Mark against her, like gurl wtf are you even saying Johnny is a good guy? The ONLY reason you are a valuable asset this season to him is because women choose the men targets 😂 oh Rachel you're pathetic 🫡
People's vendetta against bananas is what's going to cost him the game because of the karma points what I found out about people's grievance against him is all that time it's just like they want to pick on him..... I think I would want to work with him because he's strong a lot of things kind of like a Wes which is killing it on the House of villains LOL
I don't know if I'm the only one that's been feeling this way, but Jenny has been kind of annoying me with the way she presents her postion in the game. At the end of this episode, she says "I'm used to being a target in case you haven't noticed"-- which like-- honestly Jenny, I haven't noticed? You were a target the first week of individual game but it was a men's day so actually you ended up not being a target, and you haven't been one since. In the team portion you were a target 3 times-- 2/3 times your team won and you ended up being in power. You've gone in one time. Michele has been a target 4 times now and gone in 3/4 times (potentially going for a fourth next week). Cory has been a target 3 times and gone in all 3 times. Bananas has been a target I believe 5 times and gone in 3 times. Rachel has been a target and gone in twice. Kyland has been a target 4 times and gone in twice (even though he has been safe through the individual portion so far). Like yes, Era 4 didn't care to protect Jenny that much, but why would they when she's always been working with people they weren't while they were all friends before coming in? She hasn't been a target significantly more than everyone else, but the way she talks in confessionals you'd think she'd been a target 10 times while everyone else was a target once. (I actually think Jenny is the only girl left that I'd be unhappy if she won-- I think she has a pretty good shot at it too but idk she's just been unlikeable to me)
First laurel embarrassing herself and now Josh looking like a complete idiot in elimination. This season has been great, now all we need is bananas to go home
There is no show next Wednesday because of the Thanksgiving holiday. It will return on December 4. The show will most likely not be seen on both Christmas and New Year's Day meaning that the season won't end until January 2025.
2 things…. Did josh ever say if his knee injury hindered him in his elimination against Cory??? Also, I’m confused because the graphic showed Tori only getting 2 as well, but Aviv came in last with the same score. Is there any clarification on how that was scored?

I like that call back to the island! I think that’s what make the show so unique is that every season their history!
It's the best. "Remember 2007 when we did this show and you lied to my face?!"
@@finnishline Yep!
I feel like they're allowing Bananas & Jordan to waltz right into the Final...Big mistake! 🤷🏽♀️
HUGE mistake. But this deep into the season, someone will need to step up or it will be too late. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
There is no they. The women control the men vote and they want to run eith guys who can help them if paired. It actually makes perfect sense
Josh is the male version of Nani
I’m late getting into this season, but seeing this challenge made me think how cool it would’ve been if for season 40 they brought back challenges from seasons past or new versions of favorite challenges.
The best elimination they have presented all season. We can watch it in real time rather than an over edited mess. Please more eliminations like this!
I would've called this elimination wall brawl. Lol. This would've been the perfect elimination for Theo.
Theo vs Cory would be something I'd love to see. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
@@yesseniagomez9837 It was a good elimination full of action, tension, and laughs.
It’s weird how hard they tried to make Josh not look so foolish. Turns out Josh still looks silly even when the edit seeks to make him look good.
NO episode next week it is the day before Thanksgiving. The next new episode will be December 4, 2024.
😢 noooo
Drunk driving has consequences
Love the recaps Angelcake! Rooting for a Cara win here 🤞🏻
Rachel don't rewrite history. It is enough that for this season you and Bananas are working together and both of you have kept your words to each other and the partnership has been beneficial to you both.
Really. When she praised him I was getting anxious she was going to do some insane turn coat move on him. When it was all so deeply sincere, my frown was so deep... ☹️😵💫🤢
Do you all know these people personally abi it's just what you see them do on TV, on a semi-scripted show for that matter..???? Rest
I wondered why Josh was fidgeting with his right leg during the elimination before each round. So it makes sense his right leg was hindering him
Josh versus Tyrie Who would win that elimination?
Maybe Josh because he has one over him? Technically speaking Josh is better!
@docspopreviews4395 🤣🤣now that's something I'd pay to see
It would be a draw and they both lose.
@@tdiens420420 lol
Depends. Josh is more athletic but Tyri is more focused
I have two issues with this episode:
1. Aviv and Tori both hit two targets, I would've given both of them the penalty (I guess Aviv being 5 feet barely nudged her targets i guess she did worse)
Johnny is great at playing victim 😂😂😂
Johnny is great at this GAME period. It’s why he has won more than anyone.
We are on opposite sides for this review. I liked the elimination and thought the daily was repetitive. I’m tired of the trucks. Hopefully we get to see this elimination again with other people that can scrap.
Agreed. Elimination was solid, but the opponents weren’t level enough to make it a good watch.
It's all good. I think it's good to differ in opinions. I didn't think the elimination was bad. If anything I wish they would've edited it better. Thank you for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
The people who say Josh has grown are the same ones who continually hate on Michele. Even though she actually wins challenges and brings drama
The Michele hate is so confusing to me lmao like no one *has to love her* but ppl really do the most when it comes to her and i doubt i'll ever get it
Michele is great at playing the victim card.
One of my fav dailies in awhile. I was so glued to my screen and cheered so much for Derek !
I like Cory and Nelson talk but when I saw that I say that he was going into elimination
Normally the person who gets the call home is the person who gets sent home
That's why I was nervous. I knew Corey had it but still was boring my nails til the very end
Josh getting sent home by Cory is sweet karma🎉
Josh needs to retire ASAP and if Corey doesn’t win this season he should as well. Rachel keeps impressing me every single episode
I thought he got into it with multiple of his friends? Tori, Michelle, Cory for example
True, he put in a good fight this season! If he worked on his coordination/balance he would be much better
Josh just needs to learn how to do puzzles and worked under pressure
I absolutely can see a clear path for J'oneesa to winning a final. If J'onessa vs Aneesa are the only people in the final, should be an easy win.
Really? I swear ive seen Josh play better lmao
Tbh I like Josh this season he was very entertaining on era 4 and even though he made questionable choices he had a very good social game
Dark horse Derek! I’m all in with him this season, would love to see him win.
Cory is my second pick.
This was a good episode, it was nice to see Derek show how much of a good competitor he is. I do feel anxious for Aviv though ….
Rachel was definitely working overtime making sure bananas was not going to be in this elimination and it worked out brilliant for her. The second thing is love that this episode showed the adversity that Cory and Josh go through in this and is trying to win the million dollar and not for them but for there families and loved ones.
W season out of Josh, Derick cooking was not on my bingo card lol
Been a fan/watch live szns of Challenge since Rivals 1 and this is peak Bananas 🐐
This daily challenge was fun to watch. I was actually jealous that I couldn’t take part in it 😅
I'm not a Corey fan but I hope he wins. I don't like when people win or make it to the Finals without going into an elimination. I also don't like when people are thrown in all the time. He definitely deserves a spot in the Finals
Josh Record
7 Total Season
Six Main Season
22 daily wins!
Elimination Record: 1-7
Only elimination one victory!
Zeros Finals
He has more wins then Tyri! I don’t know if that’s good or bad! Hopefully this end the challenge weird obsession with this man!
Josh has 22 daily wins ???? shittt 😂🔥
@@AliFrankTheTank I know that was my surprise to! 22! I’m assuming a lot of those came from war of the worlds 2!
Probably team wins? @@lastdayonearthmysteryman4849
@@AliFrankTheTank Group wins. There's no way he's cracking double digits with solo daily wins
@@glenndallas7171 still alot😂😂😂 Guys like Nelson went from dirty 30-Ride or Dies without a daily win 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Johnny is so starved for attention its hard to watch. Thank God Josh went home this episode!! The two of them were so painful to watch. Josh does 3 things suck at challenges, stab his friends in the back and cry contantly. I am so happy Cory sent the Goof Home!!
Josh: I love you like family
Cory: You gotta start treating me like family
Josh: 🥴 I kNoW mAn
.
If you lose to Josh ...quit the challenge is not for you
Definitely! If you lose to that man just give up immediately and never come back because you can never show your face again!
Mechie learned the hard way
So glad Michelle is having a tough time , maybe she'll is how she treated Horacio
Maybe what?
Hot take, the Nelson moment was extremely icky. It felt like they tried to give him a hero overcoming obstacle La edit, when he chose to drunk drive and could’ve looked himself or someone else. MTV Could’ve used this as a great PSA for drunk driving but instead swiped it under the rug
Yeah for real
No lie this is a long season but I am loving it 😂 I know my Wednesday nights are occupied
Cory obliterated the goof. That was the most 1 sided elimination I’ve seen.
Nelson I liked him being on here! I don’t know if he’s ever going to come back though?
Most likely not unless they do a special Olympics style spinoff.
Unfortunately not with his injury but maybe he'll make Cameos
@ That Sad!
I loved this elimination. Yes it may seem one sided to speed, but there's different strategies that could have been played like waiting back and going the opposite way through the opening. Also, using more brute strength, I think Josh did not change up his strategy in this elim.
And Johnny even tried to get mark to turn on Rachel
How could you tell and do you even believe it could happen sooner rather than later?🤔
Lets gooo Corey ! so happy to see Nelly T, maybe one day we can see them play another season together.
8:31 Challenge CTE (and we ignore Camillia won szns, sorry Dirty 30)
J'oneesa does do good confessionals. J'oneesa is the Bananas of Confessionals, no matter the subject J'oneesa pivots with no shame or remorse and gives full heartfelt confessionals.
Who in the heck is J’oneesa?
@@iLoveTheEighties80 It's my new nickname for Josh. It's a combination of Josh + Aneesa. I might try Joneesa instead.
Cory is giving me Leroy vibes. Is he ever going to win?! 😩
A FINAL, that is
Cory is significantly better than Leroy. He's growing into a very well rounded competitor. I think his time will come when Jordan isn't on a season.
I agree about Bananas downfall. I disagree on him being oucked on for no reason and working with him and I agree about Wes 😊
Drake prove one thing you can’t count anybody else he beat Jordan! Doesn’t matter what happens he has that!
I'm glad cringy Josh is gone!
Yes last week good job Nanners was driving me crazy!
Eh just hope he has less "friends" next time.
(I actually think Jenny is the only girl left that I'd be unhappy if she won-- I think she has a pretty good shot at it too but idk she's just been unlikeable to me)
Perfect elimination for Cory. Once i saw that it was basically a foot race, i knew it was over for Josh.
All Rachel had to say was keeping bananas was the most beneficial move for her game rn. Trying to pass him off as a good guy to women tho? Gtfo
never poured drinks down anyone head 🤷🏽♂️
@ is that the bar?
At least Bananas never told a woman she has down syndrome face like Jordan told Jemmye on Dirty 30. Now that's a real "good guy". 💩
This was the episode of tears. I was crying it was so boring lol. Most entertaining part was Josh falling over a the haystack.
First laurel embarrassing herself and now Josh looking like a complete idiot in elimination. This season has been great, now all we need is bananas to go home
Whether you love him or hate him this season would be so boring without bananas
@ I feel like before this season I’ve always rooted for bananas. But idk this season every time he talks just makes me roll my eyes. Don’t know why
He makes the finals so suck it
The Goof is gone….thank God…
I had no clue that Nelson lost part of his leg. I wonder if he'll come back and play?
Are you kidding right?
Are you kidding right?
There is no show next Wednesday because of the Thanksgiving holiday. It will return on December 4. The show will most likely not be seen on both Christmas and New Year's Day meaning that the season won't end until January 2025.
I actually liked the elimination. I think it would have been better if the competitors were more evenly matched
2 things…. Did josh ever say if his knee injury hindered him in his elimination against Cory??? Also, I’m confused because the graphic showed Tori only getting 2 as well, but Aviv came in last with the same score. Is there any clarification on how that was scored?
I think production just didn’t want Camila shown at all and overlooked Exs 1.
Derek didn't get all 12 in the 2nd round, Jordan missed 1 first and Derek hit the corresponding one
Who doesn't like a good truck challenge? This one looked like fun.
