One of your best videos yet! I fully agree with your guest there. Unique cars like this are becoming more and more interesting. And not just the newest super/hyper cars…..which is honestly so over done at this point, You look at the triple F collection, as fun as they seem to be….it takes very little thought to a collection like that. And dont get me wrong, I’d love to have their money…..but would do it very different. Some fabulous collectors out there with a good mix of new and old, truly unique collections……those are the ones that are doing it right imo. This guest has the right idea.
As a McLaren 600LT and Z3M coupe owner I can completely relate to what Dray was saying. Absolutely spot on. The M coupe has no middle ground. I had someone say to me this week it was the worst looking car they had ever seen, but others love it.
I own both the M Coupe (S52) and E46 M3 (S54). Yes, the S54 is really powerful and very revy fun engine, but make no mistake, the S52 is no laggard. It is an amazingly reliable engine, easy to work on, and parts are widely available. I have had no problems with the engine and really enjoy how torquey and fun it is. You can enjoy it as is or if you really need that extra horsepower you could easily supercharge it. Also important to note, I bought my Coupe w 45K miles for $25k. The same car w the S54 is $75k. To me its not worth the $50k premium.
It's not just about the extra power. It's the throttle bodies that make the s54 so dreamy. If I had one with the s52, I would take it out, keep it, but put a naturally aspirated BMW V8 in it. That would be sex on wheels. I freaking love the look of these. All cos I was raised being driven around in the world's first sporting estate. The Reliant Scimitar Se5 & se5a. Very similar shape. Another car that comes with a six cylinder that just loves having a V8 put in it.
Can you import the proper Euro engined 317bhp version (S50B32) into the States as it's 25 years old? Or would the emissions, which stopped BMW fitting it Stateside, still be a problem. I like the stock understated interior and would favour Estoril blue.
I've seen a few people have imported to them to the US on the Facebook Z3 Coupe pages. The rear License plate seem to be the challenge fitting US Spec license plates.
Haha one set of HRE wheels per year for 10 years 10k per year. It’s not THAT crazy. Especially given that the wheels hold decent value compared to most brands
Loved shooting my M Coupe with you man!
Had a great time!! Can’t wait to see what you do with the car!

I want a clownshoe so bad I feel sick sometimes. It makes me cry. I am in love with them. He is such a lucky man.
I absolutely love this style of video. Cars that the average person could own
Have had one since 2001. 103k miles later, I still love it. Other much more expensive cars have come and gone. The M Coupe stays…
These aren’t $35-$40k. The last 4 with 75-100k miles that sold on BaT were $25k, $26k, $26k and $31k.
I will drive the hell of that BMW anyday Eddie! Great video dude! ✌️
Super cool experience, I just don’t really fit 🤣
One of my favorite BMW cars of all times!!!
EddieX, This is perfect! I subscribed right away!
Thanks for sharing Red

S54 making a bit more power than the S52........ actually a lot more - 240 vs 320 hp
US specs make much less sense. 80hp less than euro spec 😱
And why do you call it the M coupe?
It’s a z3 coupe M.
In Europe they came with 325 hp
Fantastic example of an M coupe. LMs really enhance the look. All it needs is S54 or even better S54 FI.
These are fantastic
100k on wheels alone is wild how is this guy so rich

Nooooo leave the interior stock.
What does that guy do for a living
100 grand on hre wheels? Seriously?
He’s bought a lot of wheels.
Also that’s like 8-10 sets to for $100k lol
@EddieX OK I was gonna say I thought he was talking about 1 set 😆
