Castaway Angels is a vocal masterpiece (but no screams).

Thank´s for the reaction! Some intricate drum patterns going on in this track and in most other Leprous songs. Like with Opeth the songs are very different.

I'm a long time fan of Leprous and have recommended them to many reactors.
It's nice to see you react to them now. While this isn't my favorite song, they're definitely on my playlists.
Try 'Running Low' if you react to them again. It's from their Aphelion album.
They don't always use 2 drummers. I don't recall why they did this time, but their absolute biggest fan, René Skarmyr, will know. Maybe he'll find your reaction. 😊

      Who is Rene Skarmyr?

The other drummer is the band's first drummer if I remember correctly.

@@PJAlphaMusic Hmmm, I answered this yesterday but the comment is missing now. Weird. Maybe only you can see it.

Hey, nice react! This was a special event at Rockefeller in 2016(venue in Oslo), where they filmed the concert with great production quality. They had with them their former drummer; Tobias Ørnes Andersen as a guestdrummer. He is such a great drummer! He also toured with Leprous on their 20 years anniversary tour in 2021 with his band Aiming For Enrike, and joined in on a few songs. He also played alone on The Valley. Baard (their current drummer) has mentioned Tobias as one of his idols, so this is just such a nice story. Leprous are on fire these days and rapidly growing their fanbase all over the world. Well deserved, because they are a world class band🤩 Go see them live if you get the chance; they will blow your socks of🥳🤘

Most people call Leprous progressive rock/metal, they're not all that metal anymore but definitely influenced by it

    It's progressive metal, like opeth.

Nice to see you're exploring some more music besides Opeth. Love Leprous! Maybe try another favorite of mine? I'm curious what you think: Ossuary by The World is Quiet Here: ruclips.net/video/aaFpAhIf6hE/видео.html
