Baard is in my top 5 dead or alive. He is a special talent 👏
One of the hardest things in drumming is to play silently while remaining accurate. What is even harder is adjusting dynamics on the fly from loud to silent. So you're spot-on in thinking that it requires a LOT of control to pull the stuff that Baard does.

I find it funny that you say "Give this man a medal", cause someone has. He won the Roland V-Drums Championship back in 2012 getting a gold medal 😅

@@lazydazetubby5412 Have you reacted to Castaway Angels, yet? It's one their more mellow songs, but the vocal performance in it is spectacular, even by their usual standards, and I personally really love how that song progresses from start to finish :)

You should watch "Rewind" drumvideo aswell, great song, and great drumming.
Sounds like you've always wanted to be a drummer deep down.
You should give drums a go, when you start getting the hang of it it's one of the most therapeutic things you can do.
How was the gig? I've seen them a bunch of times in England before, but moved back to Ireland last year and couldn't see them on this tour 😢
I want to play many instruments and lessons it's just time and money but I have plenty of time
