This was a halfbody w/ complex background commission for SephrenDemon on furaffinity of their delightfully designed monster, demon hound character u Honestly I don't draw monster like creatures too often, but this one was super fun to paint! Gotta start doing them more often!

Tools Used
I used a free digital art program called Medibang Paint Pro to do most of the drawing, and then exported the file to Photoshop CC to make the final colour adjustments. If you're ever on the look out for a really awesome and easy to use digital art program I really highly recommend Medibang! It features a ton of awesome brushes and supports a lot of the basic features that digital artists need u I'll have a link down below to their website!

I think I'm starting to get a better understanding of how to paint water. Maybe I should make an in depth video tutorial for that sometime in the future?

Btw could you maybe make a tutorial about how to make digital paintings as clean as you do (if you haven't already)? Everytime I try, it always ends up either not blended well enough, or the edges aren't clean ;;

Clockbirds, you are a HUGE inspiration! I love you art, your style, everything! I am a struggling artist (is hardly say artist, more like a person who does a lot of art) I really struggle on the proportions. This is absolutely amazing! How did you get Layer 1 (the sketch layer) to kind of fade away and disappear as you colored the details, but still kept it visible on the non-detailed parts, if you don't mind me asking?
hey there!! before i start painting in the details i actually merge layer 1 with the layer holding the colours of the character, and then i gradually painted over the lines on the single layer ^o^

I like your drawings and your artwork but why didn't color the girl's eyes? If you forgot or had done it on purpose, it's ok. But if I could color her eyes, I think green is good.

i use a tablet (wacom mobile studio pro)! i think if you type medibang into the app store (or whatever the android equivalent is), you should be able to find it? i should totally download it onto my phone too haha xDD
