- Today we traveled to @cokertireco in Chattanooga TN. They hosted a free car show today with free entry into the museum for Collector Car Appreciation Day! This is a great event with so much to see here! There are some cool rides here and a ton of vintage cars, motorcycles, and memorabilia in the museum. We will also tour the Honest Charley Speed Shop Store and Garage. This is a cool store with a lot of vintage items along with new items to see! Love all the old cars there. Remember there was an old model T or A behind Grandma house for years it was grandpa car before he passed right after I was born.
There were a lot of cool ones there for sure! It would've been nice to still have that one in the family!
Wondering who you hauled the Ferrari for. My father in law sold his to a guy in Owensboro several years ago. He was an exotic car dealer so I’m sure he sold it.
We hauled for Ferrari & Lamborghini Motor Car Of Atlanta Georgia. We transported their customers cars for sales and service around the US. We moved so many in different locations, not sure if we transported one from Owensboro or not. What state are you located in? We are located in East TN.
@@DixieCustoms Sounds like you had a pretty cool gig going. I’m sure it was interesting dealing with those folks. I’m in Southern Indiana. My father in law grew up in Owensboro and when he got ill and was about to go into a nursing home he sold off his last couple cars that were his pride and joy to an old friend who was an exotic car dealer in Owensboro. Broke his heart and my wife’s too. She never knew life without the Ferrari. It was a cool car and fun to drive for me but not really for most people. Manual brakes, steering and transmission. Basically a detuned race car with minimal leg room and tiny pedals.
Yes it was definitely entertaining! They are very cool cars! We have been to Indiana a few times so we may have passed through that area!
