I can picture your dilemma. If you have leftover rice, you might try adding whatever vegetables and spices you do have which probably includes some all purpose flour (instead of gram flour). Give it a try. Even failures might be delicious. You deserve good food. If it turns out well, you might invite someone else to share a meal with you at some point.
These didn't work well for me. The problem is the addition of the flour--it dries out the mix so that the rice then doesn't stick together in balls. I suggest anyone else making these skip the flour.
Let me tell you a easier way to not waste rice Instead of making it into a kabab go to a shop buy kababs and then fry them and eat it with the normal rice Or make a rice ball and if that's too hard then make fried rice
Or perhaps don’t eat it at all. Once in while it doesn’t hurt. And it’s not meant to eat all of them. It’s to enjoy one piece each with friends and family and a delicious cup of tea

Adding so much ingredients can make separate curry in same ingredients skipping rice
