- University of Chicago student Daniel Schmidt says he was almost expelled for voicing a complaint about a “clearly racist” class taught at his university, called ‘The Problem of Whiteness’.
“What the heck is that suggesting, that there is a problem with white people or whiteness and there is a solution,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“It’s the most egregious example of anti-white hatred I’ve ever seen.”

Growing in the 60’s and 70’s I never saw colour until my parents moved us from the UK to Australia, when we got there I went to an all girl school and on my first day I had a group of students telling me who I was allowed to mix with and who to stay away from and because I traveled to school by train they told me what carriage I was allowed to use, I was stunned at their arrogance to even think they had the right to lay down these laws in the first place, I come from a very mixed family dynamics with mixed culture and colour, they presumed because I looked white I would be like them what a joke I just looked them up and down and said thanks but no thanks and walked off. I would rather stick to my own company than being forced to deny anyone the respect they deserve until they prove to me they are not worthy of that respect as that group of girls showed me that day.
My Grandfathers fought in the war so that we all had the right to live our lives with respect, my GrandMother and her two sisters were all that was left of their fathers family the rest never made it out of Germany. My Mom’s Dad ran the blockades to bring food into the UK as well as other supplies had two ships blown up from under his feet, but he kept at right on running the blockades.
What I see happening today goes against everything that men and women fought for during WWII.

Totally agree, I never saw or heard any racism growing up in the U.K., I went to a very mixed school, you either liked someone because they were nice or not, colour/ethnicity never came into it. I find it so sad that we are importing racial rubbish from the US which is divisive and ugly. Big thank you to your grandfather, my uncle was in the merchant navy before becoming a navel captain and I’m so grateful for their bravery keeping the nation fed through those horrific times.

A college "professor" (debatable) teaches a course that could be considered racist and harassing and could incite violence towards a category of people and she calls out someone that draws attention to those facts by stating that the student is harassing her and could incite violence. happened to me a few years ago at work because I dared argue back against a black co-worker. Got to the point where he said white people are scum, so i called him a racist. He went full retard and reported me. I got suspended for it, put on a final warning and I took the company to court. They offered a out of court settlement, my lawyer said to take it (because it was good money) but i refused. To quote the joker "its not about the money, its about sending a message." I had a copy of my bodycam footage downloaded and handed it over as evidence. My employer refused to hand over the original, claiming after 30 days it was auto deleted and they had purposely delayed the court to 35 days ensuring it would be. They went out of their way to disallow my bodycam copy but in the end it was accepted and everyone heard this guy cussing me out, saying stuff like "shut up whitey, you whites are cancer, white people are scum." Their defences was "black people cant be racist." When the judge heard that, she took her glasses off, looked right at their lawyer and we knew we'd won our case. Got my job back, but they made it soo toxic to work in, telling people not to socialise with me, if they did they'd be given extra job loads or refused extra hours (which we need in that job). Got soo bad that I had to resign and had them for constructive dismissal. Again they tried to pay me off out of court, but this time lawyer said "take them to court." Long story short, its been 3 years and I'm still sitting on a near 6 figure balance.

Hell yeah; glad you beat this nu-racism and managed to make them pay, literally and figuratively. This cannot be excused. As a Black and queer person, I don't want people to give me a proverbial leg up because I'm "oppressed™". If I'm motivated and have the skills or will to learn the skills, THEN give me a job. Victim narratives cannot die off as an embarrassing landmark of our modern era nearly fast enough for my liking.

@jimrolfe2894 If you take the money, there's no trial, no verdict of "Guilty", and usually a complete "Gag Order" to hide all the details and information and keep it hidden. The whole point of going to court was to expose and bring to light the wrongness of what happened. How can that take place if you accept what amounts to "Hush Money" to just shut up and agree to quietly move on? How many more would be discriminated against?

There's plenty of adults around him like Matt Walsh, who also happens to live in Tennessee, claiming that whites are facing discrimination everyday. Listen I'm a black man and I'm using my friends account here because I have no mobile data on my phone,my friend is white and has a strong feelings about this situation too,but I chose to comment on this after we watched this video because I thought and hope it carries more weight coming from a black person, and here is what I think. If that teacher was teaching the exact same thing, but with a swap of white people to black people. The absolutely massive difference and outrage that would cause would be through the roof. I am a proud black man and as proud as any other of any of my black brothers and sisters, but this nonsense has really got to stop, and I mean ASAP because the way things are just now is 100% not going to fix anything!!! Why can we expect the white community to keep putting up with this?
