- Film Photography Podcast Episode 318 - March 15, 2024 -
In this episode Michael Raso, Mat Marrash and Owen McCafferty discuss movie film and how lower ISO films are easier to shoot. Also a discussion of vintage cameras that have flaws that render then useless in 2024 and beyond.
Another great episode.
Sorry I missed the podcast when it aired. Glad to see it was on my favorite format. Just got the roll back that you processed via the film/process/scan program. The Double-X film was better than I expected. It was shot indoors with ambient interior lighting and the outdoor scenes were shot a little before dusk and nightfall. I'll be ordering more
shortly
Thanks again Michael

Good advice about the movie cameras to avoid. I’m a believer in the Bolex regular 8mm line of cameras, mainly because they are fairly easy to get running well. There are a few good RUclips videos on the disassembly and maintenance of the small B, C & D8 models.
