Really enjoyed the red line over the topography showing where the trail went. With my age and visual impairment, I will never ride this trail. So thanks for taking me along for the ride. A much safer way to view it. Who knows, maybe I'll get on my stationary bike and watch the video and imagine I'm on the trail. lol
I love how you add the maps in the video, it really helps put things in perspective and also the music choices adds a nice touch. Really sick trail, definitely one to add to the bucket list
OMG! This one is a 'cardiac arrest' adventure. I'm on the edge of my seat watching. Your balance on the edge of the cliff is insane. This one tops the Tibet adventure of Brian for sure
Amazing video - you really feel the goosebumps just from watching your video. I can't imagine the adrenalin rushing through your body actually riding this trail, you're a great rider and videographer :) . Greetings from Denmark.
T minus 38 days and I'll be there. Thanks BCpov. That was some of the best footage I've watched on this trail. And believe me, I've watched a lot. your footage is alway fun to watch.
🤯 whoa! That was the 1st MTB video i have watched and felt my body tense up 😂. EVERYONE if your a friend & fan of BCPOV share his video with a friend. 👍🏾 Brilliant work.
BTW I was more impressed that the walked the two small part of Porthole, I most definitely walked those two as well. I find myself waiting every Thursday for you to post your next video.
I love watching all the different riders perspectives on this trail. Nate Hill, Jeff Kendall-Weed, BKXC, the Sampler have all posted it recently so it's really neat to see how everyone approaches and rides it differently. It's clearly no joke!
Interesting was just looking at the Intense Sniper Trail bike for my wife. It seems perfect mix of Trail/XC with 66.5 degree head angle and 120mm front and rear. Great video
Dude! You completely bypassed all the awesome riding in Southern Utah. Gooseberry, Guac, all the other mesas nearby and all the trails in St. George... But another great video!! Thanks for making it!
Another great video, it's a popular trail to post right now. If you could add some details, elevation, decent, time up, time down, that would be a bonus. Can we talk you into the BC Bike Race again? There will be lots of people you know this time.
Great recap video man! Last week Nate Hills had a video of that trail, and there was one part where Jeff Kendall-Weed was almost Jeff Kendall-Weeeeeeeee right off the edge to the right. I kept looking for the root that he stalled on, but I couldn't picture it. It was on the upper part somewhere...pretty sure. At any rate, NICE riding man. The thing that gets me on those trips like that is that I see that one feature that takes full commitment, and it's make it or crash, and I find myself thinking..."Laying up here hurt waiting on help, and getting hauled out of here via helicopter will be expensive, will ruin the trip, and I'll never forgive myself." I had one rock roll like that at Capt. Ahab and "The Notch" at Porcupine Rim, where an OTB was going to break bones, so I chose caution as the better part of valor. If it was local and not so remote...I would have definitely sent it. For you guys who are out there doing this for a living, I get it...and it's cool to see you bow up and send it. Nice work, and looking forward to more AZ riding videos! I want to see a ripper video of Slim Shady...that's the one a few of my friends loved and rode more than once when they were out there.
I've ridden it twice now, and I actually think watching videos of it is SCARIER than before I rode it. It's a very humbling ride, especially for someone with little desert/slickrock experience! (But I've done it twice, so clearly you all should try it too :D)
Best video of Hangover that I've seen. Hoping to ride it in a couple months and this gave me a really good idea of what to expect. Of all the times you've ridden it, how long did this trail take you (on average)?
Hard to tell but how close to the edge at min: 10-10:54. I can ride trails of any nature but do suffer a little bit of vertigo when the cliff is completely straight down. Great video!
The Spider has a variable travel setup. Can be either 115 or 130 mm in the back, and 140 in the front. Was he riding with it set at 115? I'm hitting Sedona in March, so this is GREAT timing. Good vid, man!
BCpov you’ll need to describe it in Whistler terms in relation to trails here to see if I would ever want to attempt it. One thing I’ve noticed is you have some solid trials skills to get you through some tight situations. Play safe Budz and I’d still offer up some new loam stashes Whistler has to offer when summer returns. You can park your Van in my Drive here in Whistler.
@bcpov Eric I got some feedback. You may not be comfortable doing it but please remind folks to share and subscribe. Ive been watching a few RUclips creators vids and "a reminder call to action" seems important for growth. If you can navigate a sketchy rock decent you can navigate to a comfortable way to remind folks to subscribe or check your patreon. Alexander (STS) has a cool way about it. Im sure you find a cool way to say it too👍🏾

Haha, maybe one day there will be virtual reality VR experience!
My favorite video of The Hangover... you show us around the trail in a good informative way!
Thanks Kent! A lot of times it's hard to how things are laid out from a pov view!
The music you pick makes your videos feel like a Tarantino movie. It is great in my opinion.
Good work reducing the noise of the hubs!
Agree, I love your use of background music.
Thanks Rene! I love tarantino films and I'd be lying if i said he wasn't an influence!
That trail with exposure to the right has such flow. Great choice of music. I will watch this twice. Remember the name: Hangover trail.
One of my favorite parts of your videos is the voice overs, it means you lived to tell the tale :)
haha! at least I'm able to speak! (could be paralyzed haha)
Phil has such flow and finesse as a rider, made the vid better. Would like to see more of Phil as follow cam fodder!
I rode with Phil while visiting Sedona last June. He's like a grasshopper! Awesome trail.
He knows what he's doing for sure!
I love how you add the maps in the video, it really helps put things in perspective and also the music choices adds a nice touch. Really sick trail, definitely one to add to the bucket list
Great soundtrack to accompany the video.
Awesome video! I love the commentary and introduction to the riders you met up with... always a fan of the maps... and sick trail / ride!
This is my inspiration video to do this trail soon. Your channel is also one of my favorites. Thank you bcpov
OMG! This one is a 'cardiac arrest' adventure. I'm on the edge of my seat watching. Your balance on the edge of the cliff is insane. This one tops the Tibet adventure of Brian for sure
I liked the drum solo! Great Video! Those views look amazing!
You are my favorite MTBer!!! Great job! Watching you from Puerto Rico! 👌🏻
Amazing video - you really feel the goosebumps just from watching your video. I can't imagine the adrenalin rushing through your body actually riding this trail, you're a great rider and videographer :) . Greetings from Denmark.
I love the spaghetti western music! Damn, I was sick when I was there last year so I didn’t ride hangover!! Gotta go back!
Where you hungover by chance? haha 😀
we have seen a lot of this trail lately..but for some reason your vid really captures the exposure..
Really great episode Eric! That trail looks very pucker inducing in places! Glad you made it thru unscathed!
I watched it on my TV and your footage is absolutely jaw-dropping! I highly recommend more people to watch your vids on TVs!
T minus 38 days and I'll be there. Thanks BCpov. That was some of the best footage I've watched on this trail. And believe me, I've watched a lot. your footage is alway fun to watch.

Thanks Zen master!
its crazy how satisfying your videos are.
Tough track but really pretty :) Amazing how beatiful earth can be.
That trail is on the top of my bucket list.
Another excellent video! Loved the background music choices, very fitting.
BTW I was more impressed that the walked the two small part of Porthole, I most definitely walked those two as well.
I find myself waiting every Thursday for you to post your next video.
Love the narration and topo of trail 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks fly team!
Your voice-overs always make me feel like i'm playing a video game Eric, i love it! Trail looks insane, so jealous!
Thanks Wil! You'll have to come over sometime and try it out!
Wow, great video as always.. and the music suits it well :) Thanks, please keep making them!
I love watching all the different riders perspectives on this trail. Nate Hill, Jeff Kendall-Weed, BKXC, the Sampler have all posted it recently so it's really neat to see how everyone approaches and rides it differently. It's clearly no joke!
Nice to see when it's -15*F/-26*C here in the Midwest.
All around great video. I can't wait till it gets back up to 0*F!
Great stuff buddy 😜 enjoyed that 😜🤘🏴🏴👍
Thanks Taffy!
Another great video. Going to Sedona in March! Can’t wait!
Phil killing it on the small travel bike!
This is brilliant, the music is perfect, totally feeling it 😎😅
Hiker: "You guys are crazy!"
Phil: "I agree, this is terrifying."
Interesting was just looking at the Intense Sniper Trail bike for my wife. It seems perfect mix of Trail/XC with 66.5 degree head angle and 120mm front and rear. Great video
Super Erik 👍😲
Thanks Mara :)
I've got to ride this trail, looks awesome!
It's not too far away for you guys!
Here trails are full of mud and see you riding under the sun make me cry :)
Dude! You completely bypassed all the awesome riding in Southern Utah. Gooseberry, Guac, all the other mesas nearby and all the trails in St. George... But another great video!! Thanks for making it!
This is an amazing video. What an epic trail!
Best vid of hangover I’ve seen so far 👍
So sick!! Bcpov your my favorite RUclipsr. 🤘
Incredible trail, have to get there some time to ride!!
Another great video, it's a popular trail to post right now. If you could add some details, elevation, decent, time up, time down, that would be a bonus. Can we talk you into the BC Bike Race again? There will be lots of people you know this time.
Which background music did you use around 10:22? It's really nice!
I'd like to know too.
Best video of Hangover I've seen! Great one. I'm sill not sure I would ever ride that trail. I fear my vertigo would over come me....
Great recap video man! Last week Nate Hills had a video of that trail, and there was one part where Jeff Kendall-Weed was almost Jeff Kendall-Weeeeeeeee right off the edge to the right. Dude, you got to ride with Phil!?! He's the man. And great riding too.
Nice guy too!
That Sniper looks rad..!!
Another great one!
thanks blind!
Love the music! I keep expecting Clint Eastwood to come round the corner!
Best video of Hangover that I've seen. Hoping to ride it in a couple months and this gave me a really good idea of what to expect. Of all the times you've ridden it, how long did this trail take you (on average)?
Amazing video ! Well done. Lots of exposure on this trail. 😅
Phil's got some Skills
I love your use of Google Earth to show the trail.
amazing as usual, Eric!! I missed Yuka, though. Will we see her on this trail later?
We rode this trail again with Mr Tonka, she'll be in that vid!
@@BCpov Assume! I'm looking forward to watching that one, too. Love your vids!
I need to make it out that way. I can’t believe he did all that with 120mm of travel. 🔥
Loving your videos.
Lo veo en la noche ahora en mi empleo me es imposible 😟 saludos desde chile 🇨🇱👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hard to tell but how close to the edge at min: 10-10:54. I can ride trails of any nature but do suffer a little bit of vertigo when the cliff is completely straight down. Great video!
Nice! I'll be there in a week!
I live in Phoenix and Hangover is one of the Best trails in AZ
Some 3" plus tires would grip up nice there.
The Spider has a variable travel setup. Can be either 115 or 130 mm in the back, and 140 in the front. Was he riding with it set at 115?
I'm hitting Sedona in March, so this is GREAT timing. Good vid, man!
I hope you went with 130!
Glad you’re enjoying what the states have to offer. Are you missing BC style of riding?
What song is that at around 11 minutes?
Must. Go.
you got to see Nate Hill's edit from that trail, Jeff Kendel-Weed almost flew off the cliff
Bcpov which will be your next mtb???
awesome trail!
Intermediate rider here. Do you recommend for/against trying this trail? I've ridden all of Captain Ahab and the Mag 7 in Moab including Portal.
Hey man I was wondering what wheel size you are running because I don't know which is best for long trail rides that you do.
It's purley rider preference, 29 is going to roll better and 27.5 will be more playfull, pick your poison
Is this mainly a hiking or mtn bike trail?
Which trail has the scarier exposure, Hangover or Portal? Just curious.
Portal!
So I saw your comments on Nate’s channel, when can we expect to see you on the “White Line”?????
2 weeks 😎

I lived in Cottonwood!

High quality video

I see what you did there, Yuka die here. LOL!
haha, she didn't wanna ride with the boys
I'd be curious to know where those quebecers were from as I live there too. The world is such a small place!
Salut ! Ont est de sherbrooke
A lot of pokey things to get you out there!
I want to RIDE THIS

Totally! I was thinking about mentioning it in the video! :)

They're not white dots, they are white arrows
