Sedona looks amazing, oddly, what drew me the most in this one was the techy climibing, looks like its way up there in challenge, but not impossible.

I ride only in the eastern US. I’m planning a 2020 Sedona trip, what’s a good tire combo? Looks like it’s full of slick rock to loose over hard to hard pack.
Most of the trails there are actually pretty grippy. The red rock you see has grip for days and there's very little loose rock though be on the lookout as you ride, especially going down.

After watching all your videos...I now keep gummy bears...gummy worms..gummy fruit squares in my riding pack. They have saved me from the bonk. I have other snacks but these are quick.
Eric...I wanted to ask about your seat. Its obviously light. It has no padding...and holes in it...why that choice of seat? ! Beautiful country.
I find it really comfy actually. It looks hard but it actually stretches and moves.
It's not for everyone though!
Also, i failed to mention it, but the gummy worms mentioned in the video were a gift from Mr. Tonka himself!
I think there's a detailed bike check somewhere in BCpov's page that tells about the seat. It's not for the Santa Cruz tho, if I remember correctly.
I wouldn't mind having one for myself, there's a little too much pressure at times...
Don't take this the wrong way, but I've eliminated bonking by switching to a keto diet. After the adaptation phase, me and my wife have gone on all day rides without even eating breakfast(we fast every second weekend) and we'd finish the ride not even feeling tired(maybe just sore, haha). Since the switch, we haven't needed to carry any snacks on our rides, it saves us the hassle. On keto, we're like a couple of energizer bunnies. I never bring it up in our videos because not everyone is open to the idea. A lot of folks seem to think keto is all about chugging oil & fat, but in reality, we eat more vegetables in a day than most people eat in a week(the carbs from high fiber green vegetables don't count to your carb limit for the day.) So if you never want to feel "bonked" again in your life, you can look in to it. And this is coming from a a guy that was addicted to ice cream and chocolate before. 😉

I don't get why you guys were hating on the guy for wanting to get past the three of you? It's a bad thing to be a local that can make the climbs and be fast on a trail they ride alot and wanna get past a group that's moving slow because they arent familiar with it? I love RUclipsrs and you and Yuka are probably my favorites but people hanging around and filming on the trail is just as much a pain in the butt for other riders as someone that is fast and wants to pass a group don't you think?
