Hello! Thank you ;-) I recorded the same song just using a Zoom H4n handy recorder placed 1 foot away from the guitar body. No extra FX, just the guitar itself. Here is the link to download the audio file: drive.google.com/file/d/1gRJ4EDQHjJo7oXhlLsuhUsBWUuKmsnVl/view?usp=sharing This guitar features an oval sound hole on the upper side, in order to let you hear a little more volume when you play it unplugged ;-)
@@SeboXotta finally I can hear the guitar itself. Great playing and the guitar sounds good as well! Lots of people who have videos of them playing on RUclips have been using the plugged in recordings but me personally don't think I'll really ever be plugging in. How'd you get your guitar? Is this just a review unit or did yours actually come already?
@@BadEnoughDudeRescues The guitar I used is a review sample. I know the very first units are gonna be in the stores surely before Christmas, and I think they're going to be purchased very quickly!
Curious about the quality. I bought one, then saw a ton of people saying things online about how it is a bad purchase because it's going to be nowhere near the quality of Tim's actually guitar. I figured that the hardware components may not be as nice as his as I'm sure his was very expensive, but what do you think of the overall quality? I payed 699 USD, does it seem worth that price? I also will not be getting it for likely a few months.
Hello, genuinely curious but almost every video of this guitar I have seen has a good amount of buzz while playing, is that just a characteristic of nylon string guitars? Or does this have a flaw with the fretboard?
Hello! I found this guitar pretty easy to play and very, very well done considering its price. The little sound hole on the upper side helps a lot when you play it unplugged. Of course I don't think a pure classical player would consider it as his/her main instrument, but for an electric player as I am this is a killer looking and good sounding nylon strings option.
@@SeboXotta this is exactly what I'm looking for. a nice nylon string with low room volume with electric capability AND it has Tim Henson's name on it. nothing but W's for me
I really like the overall feeling, very light guitar with a pretty smooth neck. The sound you hear on this video is just the guitar with a little compression and reverb plugins. Cheers!

Hello. Of course it's pretty quiet compared to a regular classical guitar, but it produces enough volume to let you enjoy its sound when it's unplugged. I mean, compared to a Godin or a Gibson Chet Atkins it's way more resonant and loud.
@@SeboXotta And plus, I don't really want to spend a couple of grand on one of these things. I am an electric player mainly so I'd rather have a bunch of electrics and one acoustic that just does what I need it to do and nothing else. I want one of these Ibanez guitars for that reason. I know this is a signature guitar from Tim Henson, but there are two ones that are $500 that are about the same thing.
@@therisenatlas A regular dreadnought is way louder than the TOD10N. If you play it at home by yourself you can enjoy it, but the volume it delivers from its resonance hole is not enough for live performances. That's why it features a piezo pickup and onboard preamp!
Dee? That last thing I would expect to be covered on a Tim Henson guitar. None the less, an amazing cover. Good job.
very smooth playing. Good job. Just ordered one of these, but obviously, they aren't available yet.
Do you know when they will be available? Haven’t seen any dates yet
very cool, cant wait to get one
Randy and Tim would’ve made some cool tunes together
Randy could play like Tim easily if he had the tech that Tim has in 2023 , even Kirk Hammett can lol
Great playing. By any chance, would it be possible to get an unplugged clip of you playing?

Good question. I would love to know the same thing and I would also like to hear it played without the amplifier

Can you play fingerstyle, Shungha jung-stuff on this thing?
hey man i’m interested in buying one of these guitars is there anything that’s good to know about it.

Can you comment on the action of the guitar? Is it about 3mm like normal classical guitars?
I have one and mine came with about 2.8mm. Plays extremely smooth
How does this play? I like these modern classicals

Does anyone know how loud this is compared to a normal acoustic unplugged? Im looking to get one but im not sure how loud they can be unplugged.
